The Tsunami phanomena is really an unforgetable tragedy!! Many people are suffering badly due to the massive destruction caused by Tsunami. I can only pray that those people affected will be strong...

It's confirmed.... I'm 5 weeks pregnant.. :):) The due date is around 20th of August 2005. Just a few days before I turned 35!!!

Our new maid, Surini arrived last Friday evening. We picked her up at the agent's office on Saturday afternoon. She looks okay to me... at least she knows how to handle the house chores without my instruction... she also looks more 'hygenic' compared to our previous maid. But I guess it's too early to judge her now.... we just have to wait & see... Izzaty & Izzat are adjusting nicely to their new 'bibik'... alhamdulillah. I pray that Rini is an honest person to work with...

Izzaty received her Advanced Students Honour Roll book yesterday... I found out that she falls under ranking #217 throughout Malaysia... Alhamdulillah... that's quite an achievement for her as she just enrolled into Kumon class a year ago. Again, I thank Allah for His gift... and may Izzaty takes this as an encouragement to study harder to get a better ranking ;)

Got my ESOS money today... yehaaa!!! I'm one rich lady, baby!! :)

Our house is one full house this week! Along sent her maid, Anom along with Daniel and Ashraf to our house as she will be away from today onwards for 2 weeks to send Farhan to Egypt. Imran, Zamri and MIL are still in our house... so you guys can imagine how colourful our life would be for the coming 2 weeks... :) Izzat is settling quite well at the taska... alhamdulillah... I thank Allah so much for that... as it really made mylife easier nowadays :)

Hubby is back from Japan.. yeay!! 2 weeks of maidless is not as bad as I thought :) MIL is staying with us to take care of Izzaty while Izzat is sent to Taska... thanks Mak! Love you!!

Izzat cried for the first 3 days when I sent him to taska but on the 4th day I was so surprised when he came out of the car calmly and just hold the baby sitter's hand and follow her into the taska.. I was so proud of him!! :)

Weekend was a disaster!! I send MIL to Kak Eina's place and later after Zuhur prayer went to Ampang Puteri to fetch Fareeheda. Things were okay then... until when we reached at Linda's open house... Izzat started making scene.... I guess he was sleepy but not able to sleep when there were so many people around. Later, on our way to Boss's open house, he urinated and his pampers were over-loaded and Farah's handbag were the victim or his urine!!! Poor Farah! Huhu!

Did not stay long at Boss's house.... sent Faraheeda to Ampang Puteri again and fetch MIL from Cheras. Zamry and Imran followed us to Bkt Beruntung...yeay! The more the merrier! :) By the time we reached home, hubby was already waiting for us at my neighbour's place. I was so glad to see him!!!! Sunday was much better... though Izzat was again the clown of the day... but at least I feel better when hubby is around :D

Tuesday, November 30, 2004

I've finally sold 5 units of my ESOS at the price of 11.90 ( A few hours later the price increase to RM12... uwaaaa!!!). Anyway, I believe that is my share as stated by Allah... so whatever it is, I must feel grateful and thankful to Allah. Ya Allah... forgive me for being so greedy... I'm just a human. Help me Ya Allah... to be a better person...
We've also finally send Rika back to Indon after all the hustle she has caused us. The total of phone bill she owed us is around RM779.15. We woke her up at around 5am last Saturday and asked her to packed her things. Alhamdulillah... she didn't protest or do anything silly (we made sure all the keys were with us). After KLIA, we went to Zita's place and Mak Su's house in Seremban. Later to Angah's place before heading home.
Fazal came on Sunday with his charming wife and daughter. Busy weekend!!

Today is Izzat's first day in Taska... he cried of course... I can't wait to go home to fetch him... Later...

Raya was great! Despite the fact that both hubby and myself do not apply for extra leaves, we did have fun during the short raya break :) The kids had fun meeting their cousins especially Izzaty. The only thing that really upset me was when Izzaty left her Kumon folder and homeworks at Kuala Pilah when everyone else has emptied the kampung house and left for KL. So I had to apply leaves on the next Friday just to pick up her Kumon materials!! On Saturday Pjoy, Zita, Dwen & Nani and Kak Yam's family came over to our place for lunch.. it was not a big thing.. but we had fun! On Sunday Hubby's friends - Zul & family, Naseer & family and Dwen on his own came over for lunch. It was quite a tiring weekend but I enjoyed it. Have not got the chance to meet Na & Saadan this raya..... may be the next weekend..
Yesterday, I got a call from Kak Yam mentioning that Izzaty was left at home alone as Rika has gone out (meeting her boyfriend I presume!). Not only that... I just found out that she has been using our phone up to RM600 for the past 3 months. After discussing with Hubby, we decided to send her home this Saturday for good. Izzaty and Izzat will be send to taska for a meantime.. at least after we got our new maid. I pray to Allah that what we are doing is for the best... for us and the kids....

Raya break was great!!! We had a fabulous time!! Met all my sisters and brother except Na who was in Pilah a few days before raya but had to go back to Kota Tinggi a day before raya. We reached Pilah quite late as hubby had to work until 5pm on the last day of Ramadhan. Since he was tired, I volenteered to drive on the journey to Pilah. An unexpected accident happened on Raya morning right at Subuh time. Induk Putih got herself hurt when she was arranging the all the knives in the kitchen. So I had to send her to hospital early in the morning in my sleeping attire and was stucked there until Aidil Fitri prayer has ended. I joined the rest for the 'salam-salaman' time in my sleeping attire.. hahah. After visiting the uncles and aunts in Pilah, we went back to KL on 2nd raya. Visited MIL and FIL in Cheras... had lunch with them and later went straight home as hubby had to attend a meeting on 3rd Raya at his office. Cooked rendang hijau on 3rd raya but only Kak Eina and family came. And today (4th raya), I'm back in the office... *sigh!*. Well... alhamdulillah, I really enjoyed my raya break! Izzaty had left her Kumon folder at Kuala Pilah and we only realised it after the Pilah home has been vacant!! Sheesh!!! Not sure how when we could go back and get the folder back for her... and her class would be next Monday.... hmmm...

Saturday, November 06, 2004

Alhamdulillah... Izzaty is doing quite well in Kumon and make me so proud of her!!! She has been upgraded to level A and now has became the SILVER ASR student. Again I thank Allah for giving me such a charming kids. I pray to Allah that one day Izzat will follow his sister in education performance.
Raya mood has definately begun! It turned out all my sisters and brother are going home to Kuala Pilah for this coming Raya!! It's gonna be real fun to be together at least on the morning of first raya!! I've got everything ready, insyaAllah... kuih raya... baju raya for the kids, hubby and myself.. fresh new notes for duit raya.. and so on. We even got the chance to order new curtains for our living room for the first time after 2 years+ using the old ones :) Not only that, we even ordered new cushion covers for the living room seats... new TV cabinet at the family hall to replace the old one (to avoid our VCD player, Astro decoder and VHS player being spoilt by Izzat).. and new cabinet for our room to replace the one that Izzat always climbed and make everything including the TV and Hi-fi fell down. Hehee... how about that?? And guess what?? Our new curtain will be the same as the ones in Hilton (dunno which Hilton) as Hilton ordered the same material for the hotel's curtain... hehee... interesting eh? But you can't imagine how much I had to pay the tailor for the curtain and the others.... hmmm.... there goes parts of my bonus... $$$$$ :(
We're also in the process of getting a new maid to replace Rika next year. Rika's performance is getting really worst for the past few months. I found out that she's been using our phone calling her boyfriends.. I mean the plural... boyfriendSSSS (Our phone bill in September is RM183 - and mak was not even staying at our home during that month, and RM240 in October). And the process of getting new maid will cost us about 5000+. I've already paid the deposit of RM1500. The rest will be paid after the arrival of the new maid. Hopefully by that time I have already exercise my ESOS and got lotsa bonus from it.... :) Well.... happy fasting and BREAK-fasting :)

Tuesday, October 26, 2004

It's 12th of Ramadhan... 22 more days to Syawal. There are so many things to be done for the MBB-MFB conversion before the coming Raya! Yesterday I attended the FA meeting at Menara Maybank... gezz... the traffic was really, really bad that most of the MFB representatives (except En Hussin) were late including me! And the outcome of the meeting??? Yeah.. yeah.. of course more work for me!! :P :P :P

Tuesday, October 19, 2004

My first day of fasting this Ramadhan... well, hopefully! (It's only 9:35am and no sign yet of 'tail' of my period. Izzat's cough is not getting better which worries me a bit. If it's not getting any better by tomorrow, I think I'd better brought him to meet Dr Amar again. Izzaty's class in Kumon has been reschedule for this Ramadhan. I made arrangement with July (Hakeem's mom) to send her direct to Kumon after her Fardhu Ain class and Hubbby or myself will pick her up later after her Kumon class. I finally got the chance to take out some of my bonus $$$ to give to Mak... alhamdulillah. From now on.. I must save $$$ as we need it later to find replacement for Rika. Hopefully hubby's bonus is as fruitful as mine :)

Friday, October 15, 2004

It's 1st of Ramadhan! But I could not fast yet... uwaaa!!! But at least hubby is home!! yeay! :)

This morning, I was called by our manager to his room. Apparently he has been updated on the FA integration progress and would like to know more on the problems I'm facing with this project. Well, good!! :) Finally he has acknowledged my work!! I was a bit worried at first when no one is interested to know about this project! Hopefully after this month end things would go smoother...

Thursday, October 14, 2004

Hubby is coming home tonight.. yeay!!! Izzaty and Izzat still has a slight high temperature. I could not sleep well last night knowing the kids are not well... especially Izzat. I woke up at around 2am finding him wide awake and feeling restless probably due to the heat from his body. So I gave him the medicine and made him drink a cup of plain water before going to sleep again. Later I woke up again upon hearing his voice requesting for his bottle of milk (probably he needed it to get himself to sleep). Izzaty is alhamdulillah getting better. If both of them still has fever by this evening, I'd probably have to send them to clinic again tonight.. *sigh!*. I can't wait for hubby to come home again! Miss him lotssss... :(

Wednesday, October 13, 2004

For the 1st time ever... I got the chance to meet little Sarah (my brother's in law's daughter with his 2nd wife). She is really sweet and cute little girl!! I wish Izzaty and Izzat could meet little Sara and be her friends...
Hubby has gone to Japan again! The night after hubby's departure, Izzaty got high fever. She has bad cough and her chest has a bit of wheezing sounds that made me worried. So the next day I woke up as early as 6am and after Suboh prayer and getting ready in office attire I brought Izzaty to Klinik Amar for check up. There was a bit confusion on the doctor's part where he thought I was a Perodua staff and the picture in the medical booklet didn't look like me!! Gezzz... couldn't he differentiate between a man and a lady?!! Teruk betul!! Anyway, Izzaty got her medicines and I sent her straight home later. I helped her taking her medicines before I headed to my office.

Izzaty was still week when I came home that evening. We all slept in the guest's room where we could use the air-cond to cool the high temperiture of Izzaty's body but later that night, I found that Izzat has also caught the fever. This morning, both kids were forced to take an early bath and take their medicines. Izzaty insisted on going to school after taking her bath. Bought her nasi lemak but later forget to give her and I had to eat it guiltily.. huhu!. Please god... take care of my kids' health... I really love them so much...

Monday, October 11, 2004

Kak Ina and family, Adik and father-in-law came to our house for dinner on Saturday night and we had a ball watching the Malaysian Idol's Result show!! Mak went back to Cheras that night and life is back to normal now that Rika is out from the hospital.

On Sunday, we went to DikMa's place to fetch Mak. Ruby and Na were also there and later all of us pay Maklong and Paklong Denan a visit after hearing MakLong was not in her best health for the past few weeks. Alhamdulillah, she's doing better... well, at least that was what she told us! :)

Anyway, we had lunch at 1-Utama's Laksa Shack and later Izzaty got the chance to choose her present at the Jaya Jusco (She finally made up her mind to get the Barbie's bedroom set instead of choosing the Barbie's roller bag.. which is definately too much expensive!!).

MIL called last night telling hubby that Rika had used MIL's handphone behind her back to call friends (which cost around RM11- RM12) and took RM50 from MIL's purse. What??? I was really upset upon hearing the news.... after all we've done to her when she was in the hospital! We did not even ask her to pay back the RM580 we've used to pay for her hospital bill!! It's really upsetting.... I can't wait to send her back and get a new maid!! I pray to god that the new maid would be much, much better...

Thursday, October 07, 2004

Rika is out from the hospital today. Hubby fetched her and had to pay additional amount of RM130 (I had paid RM400 for deposit and RM50 of registration fees). Phew.. Alhamdulillah!! It's been quite hectic for me to handle things at home and work. The integration projects are in progress.. (phase 2 has been succesfully executed, alhamdulillah!). I still have not bought birthday gifts for Ashraf, Imran, Alea and Ilham... Must get at least Ashraf's present by this week... so that I'd be able to give it to him this weekend!!

Wednesday, October 06, 2004

Rika's leg has got worse and need to be refered to a specialist. So yesterday morning, I brought her to Selayang Hospital for a check up and the doctor advised her to be hospitalised for further check up. Even the doctors were not sure what was wrong with Rika's leg! I had to spend to whole day (from 8am to 5pm) at the hospital until Rika has settled down in one of the wards. Luckily my mother-in-law is around to look after the kids... thanks Mak, love you! :)

What a tiring day!

Our bonus is out!!! yeayyy!!!! Alhamdulillah, I got 6 months bonus this year.. thanks to my bosses for recommending me for merit! Hmphh... what would I do with that amount of $$$??? Arghh.. yeah.. yeah... I must learn to save... for my own good!!

Sunday was really an exciting day for Izzaty! I was (and still am!) one of the happiest and proudest mom in Kolej Aman Hall yesterday when I found out Izzaty got the 1st place in her class... plus being nominated as 'pelajar harapan' in Tadika Era Bistara... I thank Allah for giving me such beautiful kids in my life!! I was so proud to see her reading the 'English Paradigm' all alone, singing, dancing and enjoying her self with her friends on the stage. My heart burst in joy to see her exciting face when she received all the presents....

Tuesday, September 28, 2004

Another hot news! Zita's maid has also ran away! Why are there so many 'running-away-maids' stories nowadays.... why now?? Knowing that Rika has another 3 months with us..???

I thought of sending both kids to nursery next year but the idea of doing all the house chores are really undesirable :P Hmm... may be I should get a maid who will come to my house on daily basis and do all the house cleaning and laundries. But where can I find such person???

Izzaty is really excited with the coming school concert. I can't wait to see her performing on stage! :)

Monday, September 27, 2004

What a happening week! TDa's maid ran away on Friday leaving her 2yrs-old daughter crying all alone at home. Luckily her neighbour's maid heard the little girl's cries and told the other neighbour who was on medical leaves... and both of them later managed to slow-talked the little girl to hand-over the house keys through the opened sliding door... alhamdulillah. I volenteered to send TDa home and later came back to the office with June.

Hmphh... I've heard sooo many maid stories lately.. and almost all of them are really terrifying! The thought of hunting for a new maid this coming January is really something that I'm not looking forward to... but Rika has also been a pain in my neck for the past few months :P

Izzat did it again! He climbed the drawer chess in our room and fell down with the drawer chess and everything on it... including the TV! Luckily the drawer chess did not fall on him... somehow he managed to run away before everything collapsed... phew!! Scary!! Was I glad he did not get himself hurt a stitch!!

On Sunday we decided to hunt for a new TV cabinet (apparently Izzat did something to our DVD player at the living hall and it is not functioning anymore now... tsk..tsk.. izzat..izzat!). We ended up at Aima's shop and was told she has just delivered her 7th baby on Saturday. So we decided to pay her a visit... and wowww.... Aima's house is really grand!!! She still looked a bit week after the delivery but am I glad to see her again!!Really miss you girlfriend!! And congratulations on your new born baby... jealous tau! :)

Surprise, surprise!! Today, everyone was given a 'love letter' from Maybank telling us where we'd be attached to from 1st October onwards. A few smiling faces were seen after knowing they will be staying with Auto Finance. One person (Ipah) was assigned to the Loan Department as Senior executives, followed by a clerk (Dhiah) while the others were still in suspense as they are assigned as 'pool programmer' in Maybank. Am glad being chosen to be in Auto Finance... hurray! But a bit sad knowing it will never be the same again... we won't be in a team anymore... Mayban Finance ISD will be a history... *sigh!*
6 more days to our 7th anniversary! Wonder what I should buy for beloved hubby.... :) Wish I could buy him the PDA that he's been wanting... but my financial situation does not permit me to do so... wuaaaa!!! I guess I'd just settle with a box of chocolate.. well, he does loves chocolate... so why not? :)

Had a very tiring but interesting weekend. The kids were really excited to go to the Barney concert!! We went there by STAR LRT as we were told that the 'sure heboh' carnival really made such a havoc traffic around the Bukit Jalil area. And as expected, the STAR trains were like sardines in tins. Izzat and Daniel were really not comfortable with the crowd... but they adjusted themselves nicely. Met Na and Danisyah later at the Putra stadium just before the show. The concert had to be postponed up to 45 minutes due to many people were not (probably due to the heavy traffic outside the Bukit Jalil). The kids got really tired waiting... but alhamdulillah, they enjoyed themselves tremondously during the show. The concert was not as grand as I expected but well... the kids had fun... that's all that matters :)

Monday, July 26, 2004

We had such a tiring weekend last week. It was raining on Saturday morning and it was really difficult to wake up and leave the warm bed on a cold morning! I wished I don't have to work last Saturday. Sunday was suppose to be a lazy day for us... but hubby wanted to go to KLCC to print our NZ pics from his digital camera... so we sent the kids at MIL's place in Cheras. On our way down from Mak's 12 floor flat to our car... we were stucked in the lift for about an hour... phew!!! Luckily there were just 5 of us (me, hubby and 3 other people from the flat). This is my 1st experience ever stucked in a lift!!

Anyway, went to JJ to buy some home groceries and later to KLCC to print the pics. Met Abg Y and gang while we were there. On our way back to Mak's place we met Kak Ina and family at the lift area. Since we knew the lift was not in good order.. we decided to climb the staircase to mak's 12 floor flat. What a tiring exercise but alhamdulillah.. with Imran and Adiel around... it wasn't so bad :) Wanted to go home earlier, but ayah insisted on all of us having dinner together and he decided to cook nasi tomato. Ayah's nasi tomato is super yummy delicious.. so of course we all agreed to stay :D

Reached home around 9:50pm and on time to watch Malaysian Idol's result show. Izzaty was too tired to do her Kumon's homework so I told her to go to bed early and make sure to do all her homework by tomorrow. Everyone slept soundly after such a tiring day...

KPI FEVER BEGINS!!! :) Everyone is busy filling up their KPI form as it is due tomorrow. This is actually the first year we are implementing KPI so everyone is really 'kepochee' about it :)
Izzaty keeps on counting... 10 more days to Barney Concert! yehaa! I tried to find Barney's tshirts for the kids but could not find any.. at least not in Mid Valley or anywhere that I know. I really hope the kids could go to the concert wearing a Barney shirts.. that would be real fun!! :)
Today, Zita is flying to UK and later on the way to Spain. I really wish I could join them.. but I guess New Zealand is enough for this year. I could not bear to leave the kids again...
Spec for FA integration is finally ready on Boss' desk... okay okay.... serious work time!! :P

Monday, July 19, 2004

What a busy weekend!! On Friday, I attended aerobic class as usual and was quite late leaving the office... unfortunately the heavy rain had caused a severe flood in Sg Buloh and that resulted a very bad traffic at PLUS highway from Jalan Duta toll up to the Sg Buloh exit. I reached home around 8:30pm (and I was speeding from Sg Buloh where the bad traffic ended until I reached Bkt Beruntung Exit to make sure I would not miss my Maghrib).

On Saturday, all of us woke up early to get ready for Perodua Family day that was held in Taman Desa Water Park. It was raining early in the morning but luckily by the time we reached there, the rain had stopped. Izzaty and Izzat had a great time in the water! Hubby and I were too busy worrying about the kids whereabout that we do not have time to enjoy ourselves... (that's normal, right?). The place was really crowded with perodua gangs and we decided to go home early before the kids were too tired and get cranky.

On Sunday we went to Angah's place for Sara's birthday party. The theme for the party is 'Lilo and Stitch' and I feel like I was in Hawaii where the kids were wearing flowers on their hair and dressing like being in a beach in Hawaii :) Sara was not well but she looked really sweet in her Hawaiian dress and orchid on her hair (she looks a bit like Jasmine in American Idol..hehe). Izzaty was a bit moody as I did not let her go swimming with the rest of the kids but she behaved well enough making the flower chain using the pancake paper and straw beads. The 'Stitch' pinata really made the party more interesting!! May & Angah made a great job preparing for the party!! :)

Wednesday, July 07, 2004

Izzaty is counting days to go to the Barney's concert. Well... 24 more days to go!!! :) It cost us RM102 per head (4 of us are going plus Na with Danisyah and Along with Daniel. We're all looking forward to seeing Barney live!!! :)
Izzaty is doing okay in Kumon nowdays.. I hope she'll maintain her perfomance like this as it will definately improve her level in Kumon class. She's also doing quite well in her Fardhu Ain class... alhamdulillah.
As for me... I seemed to spend a lot nowadays... I don't know.. I just keep trapping myself into buying things that are not really neccessary to me.... *sigh*. First, I bought a set of books for Izzaty which were really, really expensive (RM2018). Razak was quite upset with me since he need to save the money to buy the 'tanah pusaka' at kampung for his parents. Later, I can't help myself from buying corningwares and pyrex which cost me around RM500. And last weekend, I met hubby's boss' wife who lured me to buy 3 pairs of baju kurung and 1 blouse... which cost me around Rm600. Uwaaa....... I'm broke.... really, really BIG time broke!!!! Thanks god I still have savings in Tabung Haji that can save my life... at least for now.. alhamdulillah.

Thursday, June 17, 2004

I was in Maybank Learning Centre in Kajang for 3 days from Monday to Wednesday to attend a Leadership Course organised by Kumpulan Maybank. I was quite resistant to go in the beginning as I have so many things to do for the merging project and not to forget the fact that I do not like to be away from the kids. But as no one was interested to replace me, I forced myself to go on Monday morning at 6:45am to avoid heavy traffics, ect.
The course turned out to be quite interesting. But I just do not like the idea of male and female participants to be mixed during some activities that required physical contacts. But many of the activities, especially the outbound activities left me no choice but to trust the guys with some physical contacts... *sheesh*.
Anyway, the overall course was not so bad! I had a great time.. met new friends.... though I'm quite dissapointed with some of the young participants who refused to listen to other people's ideas.

Wednesday, June 09, 2004

Been a long time!!! Boss told me that Bank Negara has approved the merging of MBB and MFB... thus, so many works to be done to make this project possible!!!
It's school holiday now... Izzaty spent a week at her nenek's place during the first week of school holiday. Now that she is back home, fardu ain and kumon classes continue as usual. I'm happy to see that Izzaty has graduted her iqra' and are now proceeding with Muqaddam's ayat lazim. She's also doing okay in Kumon as I received note from Ms Jeya mentioning that she'll be upgraded one level ahead starting next class... Alhamdulillah, I thank Allah for everything!!
Izzat is as cheeky as ever. But again Alhamdulillah...he's picking up well in vocab and other things. I lost my handphone.. and just bought a brand new Nokia last 2 days.
Gotto go... so many works to be done here...

Monday, May 31, 2004

School holiday begins today! Izzaty is now having a ball at her nenek's house in Cheras... which is quite convenient to me as I have so many things to be done at the office right now. It would give me a chance to finish my works at the office and come home late without rushing to go back for a week!! But of course my little boy Izzat will still be waiting for me at home :)
Last weekend, the 5 gangs that went to NZ gathered for the first time at Na's place in Sri Kembangan. Izzaty and Danisyah had a great time bullying their 'uncle yusof' :)
I've picked up tickets for the Barney concert and are really looking forward to seeing the live concert!!! It would be fun to watch the kids' excitement seeing Barney in real life!! :)

Wednesday, May 26, 2004

Went to meet Izzaty's principle at her school this morning. She told me that Izzaty got 2nd place in her class... which should be okay..... she just lost by 1 mark from the girl who got 1st place... just because she did a silly careless mistake (sheesh... frust jugak lah macam nih!!). But the most upsetting fact is everyone was expecting her to get the first place... which is really, really a disappointing case, eh?!!
This morning, on my way to work... I was waiting for the traffic light turning to green at Jalan Damansara - Jln Maarof exit when someone knocked our Kembara from behind. A chinese man driving a Merc has accidently hit our car... but luckily our Kembara is okay... but unfortunate for him.. his car is quite in bad shape. Since he's the one in the wrong.. and my car is not affected at all... I let him go focusing on his injured car.. :) Well... at least that incident make me a bit calmer after hearing Izzaty's news. I just pray that Izzaty will learn a lesson from this and hopefully she would not do any more silly mistakes in the future.. Ya Allah... help me please...

Wednesday, May 19, 2004

Attended EQ training for the past 2 days. Quite interesting I'd say as it taught me on how to manage my emotions in order to seek happiness in life. But now that I'm back to the office... tones of works are waiting.. *sigh!*.

The only 2 things that are bothering me right now is my handphone is missing and Mak told me that Rika has started taking our things for granted and hide it in her room.

Meanwhile.. Izzaty is doing better in her Kumon.. alhamdulillah :) Izzat is also picking up well in his everyday-communications, syukur alhamdulillah...

Friday, May 14, 2004

So many things happened yesterday. Boss came to work for the first time after my long leaves... and as expected, some production problems were highlighted *sigh!*.

Last night Izzaty slept early (tired of course after playing all day!) and Izzat was watching Barney as usual when I heard a loud noise as if something heavy were falling down. I heard Mak's screams and ran to see what happened. To my surprise, I saw our TV, high-fi radio, and the 2 cabinets where the TV and high-FI were supposed to be all fallen down on my bedroom door... my eyes automatically searched for Izzat and alhamdulillah, he was safe and sound at the end of the room ( he must has run away when the cabinets start falling down ). I have no idea how it happened (though I suspect Izzat must had opened the drawer and may be trying to climb up on it). Surprisingly, the TV and high-fi are okay! But most of all... I thank god... my son is not injured...

100% Pure New Zealand! :)

Vacations always seem to bring the family and friends closer together. The 5 of us... Hubby, your truly, my sister Na and her husband, Saadan with another friend, Abang Y explored the natural beauty of NZ in 14 days.

24/04 : The journey started! KL - Spore - Auckland - Christchurch

25/04 : The journey started from Christchurch. From airport we went to Ace Rental to get our rented car. Then find our way to Ashleigh Motel. By the time we settled down, it's already 5:00pm. We visited the famous cathedral and beautiful Hagley Park and botanical garden. After Maghrib, we went up to a hill (not sure what the name of the hill) after we enjoyed the night view of Christchurch City :) Something funny happened. Saadan left his shoes here.... kelakar giler mamat nih! :D

Christchurch botanical garden is so beautiful and romantic... hehee.. :D

26/04 : After breakfast (we took turn cooking in our motels during the whole journey), we left Christchurch and headed to Fox Glacier via the beautiful nature of Authur Pass National Park. The scenery throughout the journey was breathtakingly beautiful!! We reached Fox Glacier quite late and mistakenly drove our car into the motel's beautiful lawn... (the owner was quite irritated but since we were their customers they tried their best to be nice to us... haha! Quite funny at that time.. :))

27/04 : The 5 of us did some walking and climbing to reach the Fox Glacier. It was quite challenging and tiring... but alhamdulillah, we reached the glacier safely and it was worth every single steps!! That was our first experience stepping our feet on glaciers and what an AMAAAAZING experience!! Saadan didn't make it up to the glacier which was too bad as the scenery up there is something that could not be found at many places in the world! In the evening, we enjoyed the scenery at the beautiful Matheson Lake... breathtakingly beautiful!

An unforgettable Fox Glacier Climbing experience!

Beautiful scenery and Fox Glacier

Beautiful scenery at Matheson Lake

28/04 : Left Fox Glacier for Queenstown. On the way, we stopped by at Cromwell for apple picking... mmmm... lotsss of apples of different species.. YUMMY!!! We reached Queenstown Sherwood Manor's Motel by Maghrib. Later, we explored the beautiful city on our own and booked for our next day adventure activity with one of the agent.

Apple picking activity at Cromwell :)

29/04 : Queenstown adventure! We began our day by taking a morning walk at the scenic Arrowtown... such a beautiful town! Had to be back to the motel by 9:30am as we had arranged a van to pick us up at the motel and brought us to the Coronet Peak where Razak & Abang Yusof experienced doing paragliding (how about the rest of us?? Errr... takuuttt...hehe). After that, we tried the Shotover Jet experience (AMAZING!!!! I love it!! hehe) and then joined the Lord of the Ring's location tour to explore the locations of the famous film in Queenstown. Queenstown is an adventure town... I love it!! Don't mind coming again one day... :) and ohhhh... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DARLING SISTER NA!!! Seronoknya dapat celebrate birthday at this beautiful Queenstown!! Jealous tau :P

At Arrowtown

Dear Hubby and Abang Yusof doing para-gliding.

The 5 of us before the Shotover Jet adventure experience.

At Mount Aspiring National Park - one of the LOTR's location.

30/04 : We headed to Milford Sounds and joined the famous cruise.. again, everything was sooo breathtakingly beeeauuuutifuuuul!! MasyaAllah... It was so amazing! Later, spent a night at a motel in Te Anau.

01/05 : To Dunedin! It was really a cold and windy day. We performed our solah at the Dunedin mosque where we got to know a few Malaysian students. Bought some halal meat there too!! :) Later, we explored the big city. Visited the yellow-eyed-penguin... such cute characters... comel giler!! :)

02/05 : Left Dunedin for Tekapo Lake where we enjoyed the beautiful scenary for a few hours and later decided to go back to Christchurch.

Tekapo Lake :)

In front of a very small church at the Tekapo Lake.

03/05 : Visited the Christchurch aquarium before heading to Kaikoura. On the way.. I was driving when I saw a "Fresh Salmon" sign and make a stop to buy one medium sized fresh salmon fish at the price of NZ15. Kaikoura is really beautiful.. but as we reached there quite late in the afternoon, we were not able to join the Wheel watching trip.. which was quite frustrating to me. But we managed to see the albatrose birds quite freely by the beach. Bought some mussels and oyster for dinner.. not to forget cooking our fresh salmon!! Yumm! yummm!!!

Beautiful Kaikoura!!

04/05 : Left Kaikoura to Picton to catch our ferry to Wellington....All of us got seasick during this ferry trip.. lol! Anyway, we reached Wellington late in the evening. Wellington is a busy city. Got our new rented car and by the time we settled down at the motel it was already dark. Later, we had dinner with Kazidah and her beautiful family at their beautiful home in Wellington :) Kazi happened to be a sister-in-law of my colleague, Masrul Nizam. Masrul's wife, Jija is also a colleague from IT department in Menara Maybank :) Such a small, small world :) Anyway, dinner at Kazi's was excellent!!! Very, very delicious!!! Thank you so much Kazi!!! Rasa menyusahkan awak je... siap tapau balik some food and blueberry muffin lagi... yum yum!! super delicious!!! Thanks again dear! I wish we could spend more time with Kazi and her family....

Kenangan with Kazi and her husband, Thomas and their daughters - Shazia & Jasmina. Such a beautiful family!! :)

05/05 : Visited Wellington town.. climbed the Vitoria Hill and took some pictures. The wind was really strong up there... brrr!!! We visited the famous Wellington museum, Te Papa museum and later was caught in the Maori's demonstration on our way out of town . What an experience!! Left Wellington to go straight up to Rotorua. Stopped by at Lindle to buy Manuka Honey, and bought some halal marinated chickens at Turk's Poultry. It was raining most of the time so we didn't got the chance to enjoy the view especially at the Dessert Road. It was quite dark by the time we reached Rotorua.

06/05 : Rotorua experience began!! Waitapu Thermal wonderland, Whakarewarewa Thermal Village and Agrodome Leisure Park were among our unforgetable experience! Rotorua is such a unique city!
At Whakarewarewa Thermal Village. Pergh... tempat ni bau telor busuk!! Huhu... actually bau sulfer laa.. hehe.

07/05 : Left Rotorua for Auckland but stopped at Mata-mata we got the chance to visit the location of Lord of the Ring's Hobbiton city :) It was quite an interesting place to visit :) It was already dark by the time we reached Auckland. Nothing much to do in Auckland as it was already dark. So we just walked around the city... had dinner at Nando's (it's halal!! yeayyy!! and we met a few Malaysian students having dinner there) and shopped at the Auckland Tower.

At the hobbiton city

08/05 : Catched the flight back at around 11:30am.

Good Bye New Zealand.. it was such an awesome experience!

What an eventful weekend!! Went to Port Dickson for our family day on Saturday. We leaved Bkt Beruntung early in the morning and went straight to Farah's house in Gombak to fetch her... this is the first time ever I stepped on Farah's house... very nice!

On the way to PD we dropped by at Ipah's house in Seremban for lunch. Then Ipah joined us to go to Ron's place which is not far from Ipah's new house in Senawang. We had the chance to check out Ipah's new house before dropping by at Ron's place. Ron looked different... she has put on some weight... She looks gorgeous!! I guess it's been quite sometime since I last meet her... :)

Went to Port Dickson right after that. Izzaty was really excited about the telematch that she was going to participate. The telematch activities were held at the beach area at 5pm. It was really exciting at least for the kids... they had so much fun! Izzaty's team got the last place in the telematch... and so did my team.. haha! Dinner was not as exciting as expected but wasn't that bad at all. Everyone got their telematch presents and I won a toaster for lucky draw contest. Farah got a table fan.. and since she wanted the toaster... we changed our presents :)

We went home after breakfast the next day... sent Farah to her place and went straight to Along's house for a kenduri.

Started packing for the coming NZ trip at night.... 5 more days... yeehaa!! I really, really pray that we would have a great time in NZ!!! Please god... let everything goes on smoothly during this trip.... insyaALlah.

I watched the Explore Race final last night and was delighted to see the Malay couple Rina & Fariz won the RM100K cash award. Too bad Sanjay and his partner were eliminated as they were late upon reaching the Wet Land.. or else they would have given Fariz & Rina a tough fight and made the competition more interesting :)

Life is pretty hectic for the past few days. Lots of assignment at the office.. not to forget our responsibility to the kids. Hubby came back home late almost every night in order to make sure things would be in order when he's leaving for NZ.

I bought a Barbie watch for Izzaty the other day especially to teach her on timing herself while doing Kumon homework. Alhamdulillah, she's doing okay. She's still as playful as a normal child... especially when MiCu, my next door neighbour's youngest child is always following her around.
But right now, I'm more worried about Izzat. It's quite difficult to handle him as he just could not stand still for more than a few minutes... God please help me....

Tuesday, April 13, 2004

Okay.. now it's officially confirmed that the NZ trips in 'ON' as per our original plan.. yeehaaa!! Holiday mood has begun!! 11 more days to go...

Lotsa things to do... I was carrying Izzat at the Kumon center yesterday.. sending Izzaty to her usual Kumon class when Ms Jeya mentioned to me about doing timing while izzaty is doing her homework. I knew I haven't been doing that for the past few days... and I felt quite bad for not monitoring her class work... *sigh!*. I guess being a mom is really not an easy job...

I'm still blur with this coming NZ trip. Hubby has not talked to his boss yet and it really makes the rest of us restless. I haven't packed a thing... and we're going to PD for family day this coming weekend. Packing would have to be done at the last minute... ( so what's new? hehe ).

Hubby's granny is at our place. We had lunch at Kak Ina's place and granny followed us to Bukit Beruntung for a 'change of wind' at another grandson's home for a couple of days. I hope this will give Izzaty and Izzat a chance to get to know their great-grandma.. :)

The gate is still not functioning... the technician that came over to check our gate will have to submit quotation to MAB for approval before repairing the gate. Meantime... we have to be extra careful not to let Izzat wandering around again.

Saturday, April 10, 2004

Hubby called yesterday morning asking if we could postponed the date of our NZ trip. I was like what??? He has some problems at the office causing delay in the project that they're doing... and that worries him as he doesn't feel good leaving things as it is. I was speechless knowing that Hubby is the 'key' person of this trip... the 'master mind' and without him the trips would not be the same... :(

As expected, Na called in the afternoon and we talked about it... we decided to go ahead with the original plan since flight tickets, accommodation and car-rental have all been arranged. We might have to pay extra charge if there were any changes in the booking... *sigh!*.

Aerobic class as usual... I felt a bit tired and dizzy in the beginning but felt much, much after towards the end of the exercises. Reached home at around 7:15pm. Hubby was already home. We talked about the trip again. He told me that he is yet to talk to his boss... if the boss gives him green light to take the leaves.. then he'd be joining us as per our original plan. Otherwise, we might have to go on the 24th without him... and he'll join us a few days later. Or.. another alternative is he'll join us as original plan but go home earlier than planned. Whatever it is... the trips won't be the same without him... :( I really hope his boss is kind enough to let him ago for just a few days...

Called Izzaty's principle and was told that her sport day will be on Sunday the 25th of April.. I'm so sorry girl... mama would have to miss the 1st sport day ever in your life.. *sob!*.

Pn Amy, Izzaty's school principle called to tell me that Izzaty was not well. Her cough was getting worse and she has a slight fever. I left the office early at 3:30pm to send Izzaty to doctor and dentist (another front teeth is coming out). She looked very week.... poor little girl! After seeing Dr Zabidi, Izzaty requested to eat roti canai and I dropped by at Semporna Restaurant to buy 3 roti canai.

Upon reaching home, Izzaty and I were enjoying the roti canai when I saw a glance of Izzat running away to Kak Yam's backyard. Yeap... I forgot to close the gate (auto gate is not functioning), the door apparently was open widely and he took the opportunity to wander around. Luckily he has not gone that far... phew!! That's my boy... getting 'cheekier' each day :)

Talk about the gate... I've managed to call the Mayban Assurance to ask about the Home Contents claim on the auto-gate failure. Looks like it is covered, MAB will assigned a technician to repair the gate for free... yeay!! :)

Izzaty insisted on going to school this morning. I can feel a slight temperature when I touched her neck.. but she has taken her medicines before going to school. Hope she'll be okay later.

Monday, April 05, 2004

Today is one of those 'rare' relaxing Monday :) I've finished most of the assignments given and found myself quite 'free' to wander around :) It's been raining on every evening for the past few weeks... but I hope it won't rain on the 3rd Saturday as most of the gang are going to PD for our family day. Hubby will be too busy to join us for this trip.. so I decided to bring the kids with Rika just for the fun of it :) Anyway, I haven't been joining ISD family day for the past few years... and the last family day that I've got the chance to joined was in 2000 at Riviera Beach Resort, Melaka. I'd be sharing an apartment with Farah and Tda's family. There'll be telematch, barbeque, bowling match, ect. Hope it would be fun :)

Last Friday night, we went to Kak Yam's place for our monthly 'majlis ilmu'. After the majlis, I accompanied Zaza home as she did not dare to walk alone in the dark. On the way to her place, 2 dogs followed us and Izzaty and Zaza began to run but I hold them and acted as if I was collecting some stones to throw at the dogs... the tricks worked as both dogs ran away - that's an old trick I used to use at our neighbours dogs in kampung :)
We went to Hubby's Pakcik Fandy's wedding in Bkt Bintang on Saturday. While we were enjoying their nasi minyak, it suddenly rained cats and dogs. We had no choice but to wait till the rain stopped before going home. Na came to our house in the evening. Izzaty got really excited when she was told that Danisyah is sleeping over at our place. They had so much fun playing and arguing. And it was really not easy to get both of them to go to bed... :)
Sunday was grocery shopping day. Went to Rawang's Bintang to buy weekly groceries and since Na was around we decided to buy some instant food, cookies and what-so-ever for our NZ trip. I've started thinking about what clothes to bring, what shoes to wear, ect.... hmmphh.. I just can't wait!! 3 more weeks to go... :)

Busy week!! Was not able to find time to log into blog for the past few days. IDMS course in KLCC turned out to be one of the most interesting courses I've ever attended!! It covers topics on IDMS performance tuning which is really cool.. and something that I've never bothered to consider when I wrote a program before ... but this will definately changed in the future! :)
5 days travelling back and forth from Bkt Beruntung -> Bangsar -> KLCC -> Bangsar -> Bkt Beruntung are really tiring. Not to forget, I need to stay after the course in the office to get some works done. Come what may.. aerobic class on Friday was still on!! :) It helped to loosen up the tension in me :)
Back to the office on Saturday with lots of works waiting for me... *sigh!*. Hubby had gone to Guoman in PD for a seminar over the weekend. I thought he'd be back late on Sunday, so I took the kids, mak and Rika for a drive to 1-Utama... leaving the house empty. We were at Sg Buloh toll when he called saying that he was already home by 10am pressing the bell of an empty house :) I made U-turned at Sierra Mas and headed straight back home. Since the kids have not been anywhere lately, we decided to take them for an outing to Sg Sendat in Ulu Yam last Sunday afternoon. The trip to Sg Sendat turned out to be like a 'camel-trophy' ride!!! It was quite secluded and everyone (except the kids of course) was a bit worried as we were not familiar with the area. The road is rough!! But the good news is the water is very cold and crystal clear!! We didn't reach the water fall area as we did not dare to go any further. But we had fun anyway, and Alhamdulillah, nothing scarry happened. Two-thumbs-up to our adventurous-Kembara!!! :) We would have turned back if hubby had chosen to drive our Altis :)
Hmphh... the count down begins... 24 more days to D-Day... our trip to NZ! :)

Friday, March 19, 2004

Everyone looks tired this week after having too much excitement in Bentong :) I was a bit cranky at the beginning of this week.. I blame it on PMS and the fact that we did not have enough rest during weekends :) Alhamdulillah, today is Friday and tomorrow is the 3rd Saturday holiday... yeay!!! Sunday is the election day and I am really looking forward to vote for the first time ever in my life!! :) Friday also means aerobic day! And there'll be a doa selamat tonight at our new neighbour's house.
At last minute, I was told to go to IDMS Advance course at KLCC from Monday to Friday next week. Sounds tough... but that's the trill of it... of all the senior executives, I am one of the lucky ones chosen to go for this course :)

Monday, March 15, 2004

Believe it or not, I had an amazing experience at Eco Dusun Resort!! I was a bit nervous in the beginning.. but alhamdulillah the activities were not so bad afterall. We reached at the resort at around 4pm on Saturday. The bus stopped at an area where a few small trucks were waiting for us. We had a great time riding at the back of the truck enjoying the jungle fresh air.. BIG time!!! :) Jun, TDa, Da and I stayed in a room next to Masrul, Wardi, Bujal and Faris. Luckily, there was no 'skodeng' cases... keh keh.
At 12 midnight, everyone but Mariani were lined up in a line to do jungle tracking. We were divided into 4 groups and each group will use different paths. Each member of the group will have to explore the path alone upon their code is being called and only after he or she has reached the stopping point, the next member of the group will be called. Each members can only called for SOS maximum of 3 times. It was scary at first... groping the the dark.. torns everywhere, obstacles that we could not see... but yeap! everyone managed to conquer their fear and did it amazingly well!! Alhamdulillah... :) We slept around 2:30am after such a tiring activities.
The next day, we had to do repelling ( I was the first person in the whole team to perform this... such an exciting experience and I don't mind doing it again!), obstacles activities (which was fun as well, I'd say!). Experience with Tok Batin is a different story... the so-called Tok batin and his son were really scary!! It was a creative activities on their part to put more colours in the training. But the message was there... they taught us on how importance the team work and communication is. The morning activities ended at 2:30pm and by that time everyone was looking forward to have a cold shower and eat lunch. We gathered at the hall for finale activity and I was chosen to do a speech on behalves of the ladies... sheesh!!
We left the resort on Sunday at around 5pm in the evening. Reached Dataran Maybank at around 6:40pm.. and later, I had to drive alone to Bkt Beruntung after such a tiring weekend (pity me.. *sob*!) ... and reached home at around 7:15pm. I missed the kids so much... it's so good to be home!! :)

Saturday, March 13, 2004

Izzat did it again!! This time he splashed a box of hubby's just-bought-2-days-ago hair gel all over the floor... I was in the bathroom then and got suspicious when I heard a noise. And by the time I found him... the gel box is already empty... *sheesh!*. What am I going to do with my boy...?????
Continue packing as the final preparation to go to Bentong.
This morning.. after kissing and hugging all my loved-ones, I drove my car to work and planned to leave the car overnight until I come back from Bentong. Everyone is all packed and ready for the outbounce training. Pretty exciting, eh?

Friday, March 12, 2004

Went to SOGO during lunch hour yesterday and bought a new track bottom (yeap.. another one!) just for this coming out-bounce training. TDa bought a new bag.. Pierre Cardin gituuu...!!!
Started packing last night. Izzat was being cheeky again... he spilled my shampoo on the floor while I was busy searching for my things at the other room... and again, as I was really2 tired, I got really upset with him. I guess he just wanted my attention and being a busy mom I am.. I sometimes take him for granted and get easily annoyed when he doesn't behave. I'm so sorry Izzat... mama loves you so much.. *hugs*. After I've finished packing my things.. I hugged him and let him sleep while watching his favourite Barney...

Wednesday, March 10, 2004

Went to Mid Valley during lunch hour and dropped by at the Clinique counter to meet my favourite 'Autie May-Clinique'.. :) As usual she gave me a box of Soya bean drink.. hehe. I bought a big bottle of moisturizer, a packed of 3 facial soaps and a brand new lipstick!! :) My son has conveniently destroyed my lipstick last weekend at his Wan Chik's home - sorry to mess up your wall, Wan Chik..!! :(. Anyway, all in all... it cost me RM253 on all the Clinique thingy... minus RM20 Jusco voucher... credited RM233 to my Master Card... hehe!! Sorry hubby... if I have extra balances in my accounts this month end.. I'll help you to pay the master card, 'kay... *grin* :) Or just consider the RM100 I debited into your Tbg Haji accounts every month as the payment yah... :)
Anyway, this weekend all ISD staff will be going to Eco-Dusun Resort in Bentong for Outbounce training. Everyone is not looking forward to this trip... especially the ladies. Heard that among the activities during the training will be jungle trekking, flying fox and may be repelling. It doesn't sounds that bad... only the thought of 'pacat' on our bodies is really grosssss...!!!!

Tuesday, March 09, 2004

Called home... yeap... hubby managed to find time to pick up my girl from tadika for her dentist apointment with Dr Rozita. Asked my girl about her experience at the dentist, and she proudly told me 'tak sakit pun... kejap je!'. Hmph.... that's my girl!! :) Can't wait to see her 'new look' after losing her first 'gigi susu'.... :)

I met Kak Na at Kumon Centre while waiting for Izzaty attending her class. It's really interesting to be able to meet or hear about our old friends after all these years. She looks contented having 4 boys and working with the Ministry of Defense... which reminds me.. when am I to add another member in my family??? Hmph! ;P
My daughter has a loose tooth! At first I thought the tooth got loose due to her habit of eating and sucking sweets but yesterday we realised that there was a new tooth coming out behind the loose tooth.

I was suppose to meet Dr Fahmi tomorrow for a laproscopy appointment... but it had to be cancelled as my hubby is not free. I wonder if I'd set another date to replace this appointment. I am not really keen on the 'laproscopy' thingy... may be I'd just forget it for good?? Hmphh... I wonder.. What dya think?

Monday, March 08, 2004

I had such a hectic weekend. Our first aerobic class was fun!! It was so exciting for us as none of us has ever joined any aerobic class before... at least not for the past 3 years I guess. Went home right after aerobic to get ready for my neighbour's tazkirah gathering.
Adam's birthday party was on Saturday. We were a bit late as I kinda lost track of time and the traffic was not helping at all... but the kids had such a great time at the party! Zaty had a great time in the pool though she doesn't know how to swim ( I think I must consider sending her to a swimming class ).
Went shopping at Giant Shah Alam right after the party... and spent more than RM200 without realizing it... sheeshh!! I must start controlling my money flow for this NZ trip... hmphh!!
The good news is... hubby is back!! yeayyy!!!! I got a brand new watch from Japan... double yeay!!! Though it's not a branded one... nevertheless.. it's still the thought that count! I love you hubby... :):)

Friday, March 05, 2004

Tonight, there will be a tazkhirah organized by my neighbour... I'm sure I'll be damn tired.. esp after the aerobic class.. nevertheless I must get myself to go.. I really like my new neighbourhood. They are much more Islamic and I hope that will help me to be a better muslimah.. it's good to know that I can bring up my kids in a good neighbourhood... and hopefully I'll manage to teach them to be 'anak2 soleh and solehah'. Aamin...
What a boring day! Went to Network with some colleage. Bought a pair of track-bottom especially for the coming out-bound course that we had to attend in Banting, Pahang.
Today I'll be attending our first aerobick class. Hopefully I'll manage to lose some weight and may be I'd look better for the coming trip to NZ... heehee! :) Husband will come back tomorrow night from Japan.. yeahaaa!!! Wonder if there would be any souvenir for me... or just for the kids?? Hmphh..
