From Taiping with ❤️

My boy... yes my cheeky young boy, Izzat was offered to join the PKP (program kecemerlangan pelajar) MRSM in Taiping.

When I heard the news, I was speechless... tak sangka sangat but bersyukur tak terkata! Thank you Ya Allah atas rezeki kurniaan Mu. 

So my dear Izzat... I know it's gonna be tough.. but just do your best okay. Mama ans ayah will always doa the best for you ❤️

Today was the registration day. We left Bukit Beruntung as early as 5.15am in the morning. Performed our Subuh prayer at Perak RTC... and by 7.40am dah sampai depan gate rumah kawan Izzat, Aiman.

Thank you Kak Pah and Aiman for letting Izzat tumpangkan barang2 dia balik dari Transkrian last CNY break 😀

Kami terus ke MRSM Taiping... x tunggu lama sebab takut jam parking nanti 😅

And here we are...

We were quite early but there were already lots of cars in the school... phew... mujoq cheq mai awai!

And I have to salute the teachers and students... the system for registration was smooth. Parents were allowed to drive through inside the school compound and leave all their things at a designated area - lots of current students were around helping the new students mengangkut barang from their cars to the designated area. Then, parents are to park their cars ourside. Students will proceed with registration.

Been seeing Amirul growing up since he was a baby... and todayhe was helping us with Izzat's registration 😍

 Alhamdulillah, kami dah siap2 print borang registration from MRSM Taiping website malam tadi and dah isi siap2 pun all the borangs... so our registration was smooth... Alhamdulillah 😌

Izzat and Syafiq - friendship established since 2014.

Sama2 masuk 2nd intake in MRSM Transkrian 3 years ago. And the friendship continues in MRSM Taiping 🤓

As I said... alhamdulillah, agak smooth Izzat's registration today... so cepat jer kami ke asrama menyusun barang...

Abang2 senior F5 sedia membantu mengangkut barang2 Izzat bersama kami ke asrama...

Students cuma perlu bayar an amount during registration, semua sudar diatur... tak perlu bersesak2 ke koperasi nak beli cadar and selimut dulu 😅

Settled all!!

We still need to go to koperasi to pickup baju batik, sarung bantal and samping sekolah.

By 9.30am, kami dah settled semua and lepak dulu tunggu ada taklimat di dewan at 11am.

One happy boy because in MRSM Taiping ni, dibenarkan membawa ipad and smart phones. Pembelajaran di sini mmg menggunakan ipad just like in TKC 👍

After the homeroom meeting, parents are allowed to bawa anak2 keluar lunch. It was quite hot, so we decided to go to Taiping Sentral utk tumpang aircond di sana hahahhaa.

After lunch, we sent Izzat back to his new school.

Good bye Izzat. 

Will definitely gonna miss you...

Ingat balik awal sebab nak rehat awal kat rumah. Unfortunately, Allah has another plan for us... our old faithful Camry refused to start after we stopped at RNR Sg Perak for a short nap... 😩

It's 7.21pm now in Sg Perak.. and we are still here menunggu pomen merepair our camry 😩

Day4 pt1 - Syiraz - Taha Hostel 🇮🇷

We arrived at Syiraz bus station early next morning. The Taha Hostel staff was kind enough to come and pick us up at the bus station. They SMSed us to ask if we need transport from the bus station the day before... excellent service! 

As usual, the car was a bit too small for the 5 of us (including driver from Taha Hostel)... so mmg berhimpit le kan... haha. And one bag kena ikut on top of the car... lol!😅

Welcome to Taha traditional house aka Taha Hostel :)
Located at a strategic place at the center of Syiraz old town,  Taha Hostel was recommended to us by a Zamri's friend who recently visited Iran and stayed here.

As we reached here very early, our room was not ready yet... but they were kind enough to offer us a temporary room for us to freshen up before breakfast - yes, they served us breakfast although we are not officially  checked-in yet... so nice of them!
If you noticed on the above picture, there is a small cabin-like area where people like us, who reached here early and could not check-in yet... to sit (or sleep)...
So yeah, we sit there while enjoying our breakfast 😀

The tea was local tea added with roae petal... yummeh!!

Somehow it added this unique taste in the tea 👍

On this day, the PT3 result was announced. Of course Izzat could not go to his school to pickup his result.
A friend of mine messaged me to tell Izzat's result. Alhamdulillah... walau pun tak dapat straight As.. mama and ayah are happy and bersyukur with his result - 7As and 3Bs... alhamdulillah... good job Izzat!

And this was our room (well, it's like a dorm actually haha) during our stay at Taha Hostel 😊

A room or dorm with 5 beds...

Tapi agak glamour la kalau nak dipanggil dorm kan.. haha.

And look at the ceiling.... wow!

After breakfast, we waited for our driver and transport to go to Pars to visit Pasargadae, Naqsh-e Rustam and Persepolis. Taha Hotel arranged for this trip for USD70 per transport. So kami berlima (plus one driver) in a car...

 

While waiting for our taxi... everybody was busy with their smartphones (duh.. free wifi at the hotel! 😀) and the hostel PR, Ilham (dressed in black) was busy entertaining us 😀 Yes... all the hostel staff were very friendly! 😍

Okay lah dulu... so busy lately.. nak berblog pun x de masa 😩

Solat Hajat for PT3 and SPM

We were invited by both our kids' schools for Majlis Solat Hajat PT3 and SPM held in the very same day - 30/9/16.

Since I have attended the previous solat hajat that was organized by Asterix moms at TKC before the trial exam ( I dis not get th chance to blog about it sigh!), this time around we decided to attend the event at Izzat's school. 

Left Bukit Beruntung around 4am and stopped at RnR Bukit Semanggol for Subuh prayer and breakfast.

Reached Izzat's school around 8am... Alhamdulillah 😊

 

The event started at 8.30am... Driver sempat took power nap dulu....

Majlis mohon restu and solat hajat PT3 and SPM for MRSM Transkrian was held at Dewan Ibnu Sinar... The school big hall.

 

PU Izzat was invited for a short motivation tall. Best juga dia cakap. Mak pak pun nangis huhu.

Parents and kids heart-to-heart talk... 

This heart-to-heart talk was so beautiful where the kids and parents can say whatever they want. The kids mihon ampun to the parents and nangis2.... Of course le parents pun menitiskan air mata 😭😭

As for yours truly, I could only see my other half hugging my boy from the muslimah saf... And looked around seeing the daughters hugging while crying on their moms' lap... Tumoang gak nangis tenguk 😭😭

After solat hajat, all students queued to salam all parents and teachers (of course boys and girls done separately).

Last but not least, I got the chance to meet kaum2 ibu whom I got to know via parents wassap group for 2 years ++. There were 10 of us yg kamcing in a group. Some I've met before. Some I got to meet today and some are yet to meet 😅

It was great to finally got to meet them today! Too bad Kak Noor (mom to Fareez), Sidah (mom to Haizal), Linda (mom to Qurratul Aine) and An (mom to Aimi) could not make it. 

Sidah walaupun x de dalam gambar ni, but her boy is - Haizal - kat belakang gambar tu tengah gulung tikar lol!

After solat hajat, parents were invited foe lunch at maktab's cafetaria. 

 

Izzat said ni mmg menu sekolah dia on Fridays.... Weiiii sedap kot!!! Lagi sedap dari mama's lunch kat office 😬😬😬  

Later, singgah solat at a small masjid in Bandar Baharu, Kedah just a few mins before exit to Plus highway. My boys need to dolat Jumaat. 

And after Friday prayer, off heading home sweet home...

Meanwhile in Tunku Kurshiah College, Bandar Enstek... Majlis solat hajat was more meriah... So I heard! 😄

On the same day... Asterix Mommies had present a beautiful cake to Ma Noraini, our previous penolong kanan who has recently been promoted as Headmistress of Seremban Girls Sc School in Bukit Merbah which happened to be the old TKC where she was studying - ys Ma Noraini was a TKC old girl...

 

A special cake (by Che Yan - an okd girl also) for our special teacher... 💝

 

Ms Noraini 💝

Ms Noraini was my English teacher when Inwas in form 3. Masa tu she has just graduated and was posted to TKC as her first school. She had been with TKC for years until her recent promotion. She taught me and my daughter - 2 generations in the family 💝

Thank you so much Ms Noraini for your contribution to TKC. No deeds can repay you... We can only pray that Allah swt will reward you in the best manner He seems fit! We definitely gonna miss you ❤️

And thank you Nora for taking care of Izzaty while we were in Penang...
