Azam 2008

I decided to monitor my kids doing their homeworks (kumon, school work or revisions) more closely starting 2 days ago. Chewah... so berkobar! :P So far... for 2 days in a row Izzat meraung while doing his homework :D Ohh yes.... I am a garang teacher! Hehe :D No choice what..... otherwise he'll be very playful... have to force him a little bit to be serious when it comes to study :P

I hope I'll be strong and disciplined enough to stick with this schedule on daily basis.... for the kids' benefit. (aiyoo... easier said than done! :P) Have to do something to improve the kids... Please Allah.... give me strength and the time to teach them... coz I know they are Your amanah to us.

Salary NOT adjusted, Izzat missed his bus

There was a salary adjustment for all Maybank's IT staff and everyone was really excited about it. But when the letter-of-offer was distributed, I was told that there was no letter for me and June. I did not get the salary adjustment due to my salary which is very near the competency bar ( I was told that I have to go through the competency bar test first before my salary can be increased/adjusted). Quite upsetting actually... coz the adjustment is 6.5%!! :( Tak ada rezeki.... what to do eh? Beloved hubby told me rezeki tu mungkin datang dari tempat lain... to him may be?? (uwaaaa...!!!!) Not that I'm not thankful.... I am very thankful infact... coz I still have a secured job.. and a happy family... what else do I need eh?

Izzat missed his bus this afternoon and the school's security guide called us. He cried of course. Hubby rushed to pick him up from office but by the time he reached the school, the bus driver's son weas already there to pick him up and send him home safely. Fortunately, the security guide was with my son all the time until he was safely picked up by the bus driver - I got worried if he would wander around and lost himself. Hope this incident will teach him to be more aware of his bus time-table in the future.

Gold by June 2008??

Ms Jaya predicted both my kids will achieve gold level by this June. Emmm... that's a very nice thought! But to achieve it, I think it's quite challenging for the kids.... esp Izzat... and ME!! I think Izzaty is in the right track since she is already in level F now. As for Izzat..... hmm.... he's still struggling in level B... and still can't remember his timetables! Hmm... boleh ke ni???

The missing Sharlini....

A 5-years-old girl, Sharlini went missing a few days ago and the whole country is upset with the incident and wishing the culprit will be arrested very soon. For Sharlini's parents... I can imagine how you feel... but berat mata memandang.. berat lagi bahu yang memikul.. so I hope you guys will be patient and do not stop berdoa for Shalini's safety. InsyaAllah, the whole Malaysian will dua for Shalini too....

Izzaty is now in Level F

Happy New Year! Was on leaves for a few days to handle kids settling in school esp Izzat who's in primary 1. Alhamdulillah, he's settling in quite well with the new schedule.
Izzaty sat for the level E final exam for the 2nd time last night - and alhamdulillah.. she got only 2 mistakes which means... she's now upgraded to level F!! :) So far so good.... my dua is.... both Izzaty and Izzat will do well in whatever they do... Aamin.
