1 year of X-posing :D

After a 2 weeks break from gym... I went to Xposed class today and was told that there would be a body assessment. I was like 'NOOOOOOO!!!!'. Giler nervous nak kena assess!! :D

But what dya know?!

It's been a year you all! And I only lost 5kgs -.-

Am happy with the result nevertheless....

But have to work harder to improve my metabolic age!!! -.-

My camera-shy boy :)

My boy does not like his pic to be taken. If he's in good mood, you're lucky enough to find him smiling at the camera. Yeap... he's a bit (just a tiny bit!) camera-shy! :D It was worst when he was smaller. Now that he is already a teenager... I guess kena jaga saham jugak lah kan (lol!), we can see him smiling more at the camera ;) 

So last night, when Cikgu Hus, his science teacher messaged saying there would be a science tuition (10 mommies including yours truly berpakat to pay their science and math teachers to do extra classes for our PT3 kids), I told her to take pictures of the kids during the class. Both teachers usually do that - taking pictures when the kids are attending tuition as attendance proof :D In most of the pics, I can see Izzat hiding his face from the camera... lol!

This morning, before Subuh prayer, I saw a message from Cikgu Hus (I was too tired and slept early last night) and couldn't help smiling when I saw this pic... 

My boy is actually smiling handsomely at the camera!!!

This picture made my day... haha!

Finding time for friends

One thing about getting older, you have less time for your friends. We would be too busy juggling our time between career and family that you found it difficult to find time time for friends. Heck, you even got problem finding time for yourself! :P  Being a career woman, a mom, a wife, a daughter - all in one package is definitely not easy... Especially if the distance of your office from home is more than 40km! It's super tiring... Especially at my age! (Yeah okay... I know I am old :P )

Anyway, to find time to spend with your friends is definitely not easy. For ladies, it's tougher cause you basically have to get permission from your other half first. And there are our kids to consider. In my case, now that my kiddos are in boarding school, senang sket la kan? I actually have more free time now that the kids are not at home. BUT when you finally got free time to meet your friends, your friends might not be available. Sound so familiar right? -.-

Today, Ana (my SRKDIan friends) invited us over for lunch at her place. Hmmm... If Ana is cooking, you cannot say no okay... She's an awesome cook... Dah terbayang2 food yg sodap2 on her table haha! 

I am free this weekend, so yeay! And Mr Hubby had given greenlight - double yeay! But unfortunately, only yours truly and Dr Zai were free to come. See.... What did I tell ya?! It's not easy to find a time when everyone is available!! :P

As expected - berederet lauk... wow! I aimed for sambal udang first... lol! Can't help it... it looked and tasted heavenly!

And there's this tempoyak dish which my mom used to cook for us... yummeh!!!

Forget about healthy eating or diet today! Mana boleh tolak Ana's cook... All so super yummilicious!!! Borak2 makan2... Perghhh... Mcm ular sawa dah mak lepas tu -.-

After zuhur prayer, these gossip girls sambung cerita dlm bilik pula lol! Ni baru 3 orang babe... Kalau cukup korum lagi meletop I tell ya!

Friday breakie date

This morning, mak kena buat 'belacan delivery' you all! :D

Well, to make the story short, Diva Tone went back to her hometown in Kedah a few weeks ago and as usual, ramai le yg mengoder belacan and kopi.. Haha! Ini kawwww punya belacan and kopi hokay.! You cannot get it anywhere else huhu.  I was in Menara Maybank yesterday for a meeting and Diva Tone asked me to deliver 5 packs of belacan to a friend in Dataran Maybank (these people mandi belacan ke hapa?? -.-)

This morning, had breakfast with Izwanty, the lady whom I had to deliver the belacan to ;)

Valentines Day?

Nah... Have not been celebrating Valentines for years!!! Dah tua kot.. Everyday also can show our loves eh? ;) 

Anyway, valentines or not... This weekend someone bought this for me...

Yezzerrr... Selena Gomez is in the house!! It's my current favourite perfume!! So the wangi!!! Loving it so much!!!

Harbin's winter wonderland - Day4 pt2

Since today was our last day here, we decided to explore the city of Harbin in the daylight ;) Asked the taxi to stop at the end of Zhongyang Street which is the most happening place in Harbin. It was still snowing, and Harbin was all white and looked stunning! Subhanallah... cantek banget!!!

As expected, in Zhongyang Street there were lots of people. It's like a party here! At the end of Zhongyang Pedestrian Street there's Songhua River which of coz is frozen at this time of the year. On the river you can find any kind of ice attraction. Lots of people were ice-skating, riding snow-bikes, ect. - it's kind of ice wonderland :D

Mr Hubby ajak ice skating..... erkkkk!!! It's extremely cold kot??!! Definitely a NO from me -.-

Sorry to be such a wet blanket... but seriously, the thought of cold wind on my face while ice-skating..... brrrr!!!! cannot tahan... huhu!

We took a stroll down the Zhongyang Pedestrian Street to see some of the ice sculptures. 

Zhongyang Street is where you can really get a sense of the whole East meets West vibe of the city. Nice and beautiful pedestrian street with old Russia architecture. Lots of restaurants and souvenir shops - definitely the best place to shop in Harbin! Unfortunately we could not find any halal restaurant here :( 

But it's definitely a place to go in Harbin!!

End of CNY break :(

CNY long weekend has comes to the end :(( *what??? Can extend or not???uwarghhh!!*

My girl is lucky to have extended hols till end of the week (but she had a full-4-days 'bengkel menjawab soalan SPM' in Mantop Rawang throughout the CNY hols. My boy on the other hand had to go back to his boarding school today :((

So this morning, after sending my girl to the camp, I sent my boy to Hentian Duta.

Harbin Polarland - Day4 pt1

Today there were just the 2 of us. Na and Saadan had left for Beijing earlier in the morning. We decided to visit Harbin's Polar Land. Took taxi from the city to Polar Land which cost us CNY20 (an honest taxi driver. so happy to get cheap taxi fair this morning... haha!). It was snowing whole day... amazing view all around Harbin!

Harbin Polarland is the first theme park of polar land scenes in China. There are the pure penguin family of South Polar, polar bears, arctic wolve, arctic fox, dophins, sea lions, whales, lots and lots of fishes including sharks, ect. There are a few shows (visitors have to note the show time to make the visit worth while!), a whale show and a sea lion show, in the park which run four times daily : The famous Beluga Show (you can't miss this one! It's the highlight of this place!) at 11am, 1pm and 5pm ; The Walrus and Sea Lion Show at 10am, 12noon, 2pm and 4pm.
