Chilling with Nani ❤

My friend, Nani Rahayu was in Menara Maybank for a short business meeting last Thursday eve. Usually, when she came to this building, she'll call me and we'll chill out together at Starbuck for a while... but on that day both of us were fasting (alhamdulillah... kebetulan sama pulak kita puasa ya!) but still would like to meet up and just 'dating' for a while... hehe :) Both of us taking a short break from a stressful day ;))

On my 43rd birthday...

So yeah... I celebrated my 43rd birthday yesterday... huhu! 

Went to work wearing a baju raya AND my birthday handbag... :))

Work was okay in the beginning... sempat jumpa Wewe in the afternoon....

A pose with Minie... our Filipino contract programmer who is going back to Philippine tomorrow. It was her last day yesterday. Gonna miss her! The best contract programmer we've ever got!

Then later that evening, just a few mins before 5:45pm (the end of my office hour), I was informed there was a production problem on our MAS system. Adoiii.... stressnya!! Terpaksa lah balik lambat to investigate and do whatever necessary to recover the data. By the time I left the office, it was already 7:20pm... and on my way out of the car parking... sudah azan :(( Forgot to bring the kuih that Wewe gave me... so tak dapat la berbuka puasa in the car since there was nothing to eat/drink :(( Was lazy to stop somewhere to buy food or anything... so speeding la balik rumah and reach home around 8pm.... grab one kuih raya (to buka puasa) and perform my Maghrib prayer dulu... baru lah isi perut properly... huhu! Thanks to Mr Hubby tolong tapaukan KFC for the 3 of us!

Izzaty called me in the evening to wish me... how I miss my little girl.... 

A beautiful wedding ❤

I have always love kids... ;) When I was studying in the USA... I loved playing with or babysitting the kids of my seniors. I was probably a kid myself then... Har har!! Anyway, believe it or not, I can still remember the names of the kids I babysitted ;)) They might not remember me now... But I will never forget them as they were part of the beautiful memories I had in my life in Kansas City, Missouri ;)

Among the kids I babysitted were a twin sisters... Shila(kakak) and Dilla(adik), daughter of Kak Nik & Abg Rahmat and Ain, Hana and Qayyum... Children of Kak Saadiah & Abg Zainul. How I loved being around them then!! ❤

And guess what...  Last Saturday... I was invited to attend a wedding of one of those children I mentioned above ;) Oh yeah... Terasa diriku begitu tua... Haha!! 

Hana dearie, hearty congratulations on your wedding! May Allah bless you with a wonderful life together ❤ You may not remember this old kakak who used to babysit you once upon a time...  but I sure do remember you as the sweet little girl who loved to smile at my camera ;))

Kak Nor and her hubby, Abg Nan were first seniors that I met in UMKC whom fetched me at the hotel on my first day in KC and let me stay at their place for a while until I found a roomate! They were the coolest senior ever!! ❤

What a wonderful evening! And a memorable one too! Next event that all of us are looking forward to is... Adik's (one of Kak Nik's twin) wedding in March next year... Yeay!!  Can't wait!! ❤

Raya oh Raya... version 1434H ;)

Hi everyone. Hope you guys had a wonderful raya ya! :)

As for us, we had a great time bonding with our family... alhamdulillah :) It was indeed a wonderful Raya :) I do believe Hari Raya is the best time for family members to bond with each other! Masa ni la nak eratkan hubungan silaturahim kan... visiting relatives, ect.

This year, our 1st Syawal was celebrated in hubby's hometown in Kampung Sempang, Melaka :) And 2 days before that, I dah 'advance' beraya with my mom at my sis house in Sri Damansara... alhamdulillah :)

On 2nd Syawal, alhamdulillah... we got the chance to balik Kuala Pilah (suka sangat!!! sebab last year tak dapat balik... huhu!). Well, 3 places yang 'wajib' kami singgah when beraya in Pilah are...

1. Kubur my arwah ayah 

2. My Pak Teh's house (my mom's brother - the only one who's still staying in Kuala Pilah)

3. My Pak Long Ino's house (my late grandma's only son - well, not really my real grandma... but she's my real grandma's eldest sis and the one who raised my mom and her siblings after my real grandma passed away when my mom and aunties were still small...).

I really miss this place... :'(

Tempat jatuh lagi dikenang weh... ini kan pula tempat membesar.... huhu!

1st destination - my Pak Long Ino's house in Kampung Gontam :D

FYI, ini lah grandpa to my artist-niece... Sari Yanti :D 

Unfortunately, Sari Yanti was not around when we dropped by. If we came on first raya, insyaAllah, dapat jumpa artis sorang tu... haha! :)

Kebetulan, my mom, aunty, eldest sis and brother was at my Pak Long Ino's house when we dropped by :) Well, actually memang plan nak jumpa diorang pun kat sini... hehee... 

Our boys - Izzat (my boy), Adam (my bro's boy) and Daniel (my eldest sis's boy). These 3 boys (plus my niece, Alea) are all going to sit for UPSR exam next month.... huhuuu.... apa2 pun kita raya dulu... hehe.

2nd destination  - Tanah Perkuburan Islam @ Tanjung Jati... 

2 kubur wajib visit... my arwah ayahanda Haji Abdul Manaf  and grandma, Hajjah Zawiah. Wanted to visit my real grandma and grandpa's kubur... but I wasn't sure which one... *sigh!*

The kids at kubur my dad... My nephew and niece, Adiel and Alea followed us balik kampung Pilah.

I wish my kids got the chance to get to know their Atuk Manaf... :(

He passed away when I was 7-months-pregnant of Izzaty :'((

Used to be my playground... all gone now... penuh ngan pokok2 liar jer... sedey :'((

3rd destination : My PakTeh's house in Kampung Senaling...

That night, the kids had a blast main bunga api and mercun...

3rd Syawal.... last minute plan.... kami beraya di JPO (Johor Premium Outlet)... hahaha! Don't judge us okay... tapi mmg dah lama nak pergi sini... so ambil peluang cuti raya ni... lol! :D
