So stressed!!!

The UAT for the FS contra HP project has just started! *sigh!*... I am so nervous... berdebar2 sangat! Hope things will go smoothly. Otherwise... susah le I nak cuti ni... *sigh!* :P

Izzaty was not well yesterday. Demam + batuk + mata bengkak. So she's on MC today. Izzat is also not going to KAFA this morning... but not because he's sick or anything... he just could not wake up this morning. Mana taknya! Malam tadi... when I was doing some revision with him... I realised he is still not well-versed with the Mathematical words like 'standard written method' and 'word sentences'. So I opened his exercise book... and found out he has been skipping doing his homework!!! GOD.... ada lah a few pages kot yg dia skip!! Makcik punya la tension!! Dera dia buat all those pages.... and ended up tido at around 11.30pm!! Both mommy and son mengantuk susah nak bangun this morning. But at least he can skip the morning school! Mommy sorang ni... cuti dah le tinggal 2 and a half days... tu pun reserved for the mid term exam :( Nak tak nak... seret jugak kaki ni bangun bersiap to work... *sigh!* :(

Malam ni kena sambung lagi ulangkaji with kids... their first exam will be next week... Heard that this exam results will tentukan their class again for this year (again?!). I am quite worried actually.... Izzaty is having problem in BM2... and Izzat... cam biasa lah.. playful sangat..
Aduhai... with the UAT going on... then malam ulangkaji with kids... not to forget I have to prepare myself (kena study jugak nih!) for this coming umrah trip.... aiyooo... stressful lah!! :( But InsyaAllah..... with Allah help... I will managed *cewah... mesti confident!!*.

SKBB sport day 2009

I had such a hectic weekend!! On Saturday... hubby went to the mosque for "Khariat kematian" meeting. Whilst, I had to send Izzaty to her taekwando class and later went to Dr Aniza's clinic to get jab on my immunization
--> of what-so-ever-the-name of the jab lah... that is required before going for umrah. Dr Aniza, who's also a dear friend of mine... really understand me... she offered me some medications for this coming trip. Without me saying anything.. she offered all the medications that she knew I'd be needing - like carbon (for my so often perut berangin.. haha!), ural (yes.. she knows that I selalu ada problem kencing tak lawas....), even offered sun block to me... Aiyooo.. segan pulak I ngan doktor yg comel-lote sorang nih... *sigh!*. You're are really a true friend doc.. thank you soooo much for really understanding me... ;)
Later... all of us went to Acik's house to celebrate her birthday (which was the day before actually... tapi saja laa... celebrate jugak on Saturday tu! hehe). By the time we reached there, the bunch of them were already there... DikMa and kids (with her bibik, Asiah who cooked delicious soto ayam!) , Pakcik Apa and wife and also Ruby and kids (and her new bibik)... meriah!!! :) I bought a nice BHPolo handbag for Acik.... and alhamdulillah... she really, really loves it!!! :) After zuhur prayer and dah kenyang... hubby and I went to Masjid India kejap... nak cari buku for umrah and others.... tinggalkan kids at Acik's.... so by the time balik ke Bkt Beruntung... dah malam!! Penat sangat!

Sunday was even more hectic! Had to wake up early in the morning.. to send Izzaty for her school sport day. Tak sangka ya... anak dara ku begitu active bersukan! hehee... masuk 100m final you!! :) And she also had to perform for the 'tarian sewang'. So punya la nak gelak tenguk dia lari 100m dgn muka penuh makeup!!! hahahaha! She got 6th place (or was it 5th??)... tak pe lah tak menang... masuk final pun kira dah okay kan? ;) And her tarian sewang performance... my god!! I am so proud to see her dancing confidently... smiling all the time... during the performance... wahhh... not bad la anak ku ini! ;) In the end, she only got one pingat to bring home.. that is 2nd place for 4 X 100m. Okay la tuh! ;)

Balik from sport... bergegas pulak bersiap.. nak pegi wedding in Klang! Hubby's staff.. so kena pegi jugak lor.. walau pun penat ya amat dah!! Sesat barat jugak we all nak cari rumah kat Klang tu.. but we made it lah in the end... lauk pun sedap!! :) After the wedding we went to Subang Parade to visit Aunty May yg bukak meja meniaga her 'craft gadgets' kat situ... and our main objective sebenarnya ke sana... nak cari charger for the kids' nintendos. By the time sampai rumah dah petang... masing2 dah penat.... *sigh!*.

February Update

My SIT on the FS-HP contra project is finally over. So am now waiting for users to start on the UAT. The thing is... insyaAllah, on 6th March.. hubby and I are going for umrah ziarah. 2 weeks away from office... yeay! But I'm a bit concern on this project... Bujal, my project leader said the implemenation date is on the 16th (I'll be coming back on the 20th March!). What if there's a production problem when I'm away?? Euuuu.... Nauzubillah... I want to do my ibadah in piece... please Allah.. let all goes smoothly....

More good news... we'll be going to Istanbul first... before heading to Madinah... double yeay!! :) I am so excited. This is my 2nd visit to 'Kota Is-ketam-bula' :) But as usual.. the thought of leaving the kids behind really spoilt the holiday mood :( Izzaty is so busy nowadays... practising for 'tarian sewang' and singing-and-action thing.... preparation for the annual Sport Day and Hari Penyampaian Hadiah - so I was told. Heboh pasal benda tu aje.... belajar entah ke mana?! Risau makcik! :P As for Izzat.... last week, he brought the kinda 'swiss army knife' thing to school... and got caught by his class teacher... apa lagi! Kena rampas la benda tu... some more... kena hantar ke bilik guru disiplin.... Oh noo... Izzat... Izzat.... Hope you had learned your lesson... *sigh!*. But on the brighter side... nampaknya dia dah rajin sket buat ulangkaji and latihan after Maghrib... and mama... being the kids' tutor... rasa lega sket laaa.... tak payah nak nag, nag and nag to force him to do revision!! :D

What to bring ya for this coming trip.... dah start looking into my wardrobe for suitable attire to bring for umrah and ziarah trip. One of my white jubahs is still there ( satu lagi tak sure ke mana). Then my other jubah(s).... insyaAllah.. boleh la pakai kat sana nanti. But my concern is what to wear in Istanbul... it's still cold there... nak bawa winter clothing ke?? Hmph!!

By the time I reached this place... I was so sick! Baru lepas muntah...

Welcome to Hoalu Ancient Capital of Vietnam! Hoa Lu is within Ninh Binh province, located 100 kilometers from Ha Noi. Recently became the magnet to tourism due to its magnificently scenic view of mountains, rivers as well as historical relics.

There are two temples in this area dedicated to the kings Dinh Tien Hoang... so we visited these 2 temples lah..

Later, we went to Tam Coc. Tam Coc means three caves. I was quite excited actually coz we were scheduled to make a boat trip through these three exotic caves during this trip :)

This was where we ate lunch.. but I was so sick that I could not eat a thing! Tapi mmg tak byk halal choice pun... so we ended up eating rice and fries aje.. no lauk :(

Beli bag kecik (with nice embroidery) tu for my bibik... for just USD2!

Bags.... quite nice.. and cheaper price compared at Hanoi. Ingat nak beli.. tapi takut nanti nak balik Malaysia our luggage over loaded pulak... dah sopping byk bags yesterday maaa!! Air Asia limit kan 15kgs ajer tau... :P

The 'jeti' where we take a boat which will be rowed by one or two local persons in Hoang Long river and see the limestone mountains, which will run along their river way for several kilometers.

Beginning of our journey... the old lady behind me was assigned to row our boat... tak sampai hati rasanya tenguk dia row for us! So ada extra pengayuh tu... hubby tolong la jugak kayuh.. But surprisingly memang kuat makcik nih!! Tabik lah makcik!!

This is a normal scenery in Tam Coc. After tired of rowing using their hands... they'd use their legs expertly... phew! dasat diorang ni... I tell you!

After Tam Coc... we went back and reached Hanoi dekat time Maghrib kot... exhausted giler! But in the evening... again... we all rayap2 ronda Hanoi city to do our last minute shopping... esok dah nak balik Malaya :)

That amoi was waving at us in this pic. This was the only shop who said " You can pay in Ringgit here!" :D So I asked her why she wants our Malaysian Ringgit.. and she said "I can use them when I visit Malaysia next time"... wahhh!! Kaya ini amoi :)

While hubby was choosing souvenirs at that amoi's shop... I snapped this boy's pic.. so cute! :) He was having dinner with her family outside the shop :) Orang2 Vietnam ni suka makan kat tepi jalan kot...

Dah malam ni.... last shop to visit... the very first shop we went on the first day in Hanoi. Tapi kali ni makcik tu takde... husband dia la kot tu.. :)

Our Hanoi trip - Day 3

Day 3 - HaLong Bay to Hanoi...

Last night... there was a party on this junk! All the crew members were having a great, great time celebrating the arrival of Ox year :) There were fire crackers, karaoke and many more activities going on at the dining area... but we didn't join them... ngantuk dan kepenatan lepas berkayak semalam! :) So on the 3rd day... our junk returned to the main land of Vietnam. He had to check out early after breakfast so that the crew would be able to clean the rooms earlier for the next guests. So... basically.. nothing much to do except enjoying the beautiful scenery :)

Our junk berlabuh jap kat another island ni... where some of us who opt for 2 nights in Halong Bay turun sini and bermalam kat sini pulak.... some new guests also get in our junk to go back to the main land.
Check out early.... so cannot lepak in our room anymore..

It was damn cold outside! But I had fun chatting with the others... getting to know them better...

Finally!! After lunch... we were transported to the mainland in the little boat again. As you can see... ramai yg menggigil kesejukan kat dlm gambar tu... So coldd... Brrr!!

Yeah... safely landed.. alhamdulillah... :D

Jill (the one in grey cardigan) is actually a fellow Maybanker who also booked this trip via PYO travel.. small world eh? ;)Good Bye Halong bay... it was an awesome experience coming here!Among the scenary seen along the way to Hanoi..

This family was getting ready to go home after having fun at the Hoan Keim Lake for this NY celebration. This is a normal view in Vietnam.... sometimes you can see 3 or 4 adults riding a motorcycle.. :) I guess it's their way of life in Hanoi. Motorcycles are the most famous and practical transportation.

At the lake... so many people gathered here for the celebration. They dressed up nicely.. so meriah :)

First shop we all singgah petang tu is kedai makcik ni.... beli pencil cases and make up cases.... decorated with beads. I like!!! :D At the back.. again lukisan2 yg di jahit dgn benang sulaman... so beautiful! Vietnamese are very creative!!Then singgah kedai makcik ni beli bag!! See the red bag that hubby hold?? I can't remember how much we bought it... but definately cheap laaa... That grandma was so excited when we took her pic :D

Pusing punya pusing... macam sesat pun ada gak... tapi pusing2 usually end up at the same place jugak :) See the yellow bag I'm holding? That's another bag we bought infront of the lakes... kali ni beli kat corridor je... not a kedai... dia just gantung2 all the bags kat dinding. Cheaper kat sini.. probably because they don't have to pay shop rent :D Then when we were just walking around... some 'mat salleh' girl asked me "excuse me.. where did you buy that bag?" Wahhh!! Glamour bag aku!! hehehe. So we told her where to buy the bag. And that made us think.... eh.. let's buy more bags lah for souvenirs.... for FIL, the kids, ect??!! Yeahh... let's!! So off we go to that place again to get more bags!!!
