Post Exam Extravaganza! =)

Syukur alhamdulillah... the final exam is finally over!! Phew.... lega!! Ni anak exam.. mama yang terlebih lega! :D Anyway, it's time to celebrate kids... woohoo!! =) Kebetulan, hubby's department buat family day @ Wet World Shah Alam.... just nice for the kids to celebrate after their exam! Good timing people !! =)

We reached there about 9am... quite early and not many people were there yet. The place is smaller than Desa Waterpark but they claimed that they have the longest water-coaster in Asia... really meh?? I'm not sure about that.... but my kids sure love it!! :) They had a blast!!

Selepas keletihan @ WWSA, kami singgah ke 1-Utama pulak *haha... tak reti2 nak balik ke?? padahal penat giler dah masa tu*. Ni baru la dinamakan 'post exam extravaganza' =) It's like balas dendam balik sebab aritu kids, mama and ayah cannot go anywhere during the weekends sebab kids nak exam! haha!

Actually we did have a valid reason going to 1-U. We needed to buy something for our next trip. Ahahh!!.... that's a hint! Yeap... we are going somewhere soon!!! But the destination will remain a secret until further notice =) Saja la buat you all suspen... hehee.. =) Sangat letih berjalan kat 1-U semalam... But alhamdulillah... mission accomplished! =)

Today, on a beautiful Sunday... kami nak ke arah Low Yatt pulak.... of course another mission to complish... heheee... =)

And tomorrow.... aiyooo.... really malas to think... but tomorrow is the implematation of eGL Phase 2 project. Arghhh.... just thinking about it makes me so stress! :P I will be working on Monday night.. *sigh!*

Apa2 pun... today, kita enjoy dulu!!!! :P

*SeRabUt!!*

It has not been an easy week for me! With kids sitting for the final exam... and multiple projects in progress at work...... An IT analyst on the daylight and a tutor at night time... it's definitely been a very draining week for me :(*

So tired :( I felt like a zombie... huhu! So many things on my mind lately.

And this afternoon, I obviously had something on my mind! My head was a bit serabut I guess. I left my workstation to go to surau for Zuhur prayer (the surau is on the 11th floor) and was about to take out my slippers at the surau's door when I realized I was wearing these....


Gosh!! What was I thinking???!!! Err... I wonder if the people sharing lift with me to the surau just now realized what I was wearing. Eiii.... malunyee!! Kelakar pun ada :D My colleagues and I certainly had a good laugh :) They said laughter is the best medicine. Yeap... it works... I felt better after that... well, at least A BIT better ;)

1/2 day @ home; 1/2 day @ work

Hmm.... Bliss!! Continue lying on my comfy bed lazily after Suboh prayer... Relaxing and de-stressing my self at home in the morning! It felt really good! I wish this can continue on daily basis... 1/2 day at home.... and only go to the office in the afternoon. Me loving it!!!!!! :)


But reality check... that was only for 3 days! Izzat was sitting for his final exam... and as always, mama tried her best to help. (Or rather... mama wants to make sure that he would remain in the first class next year!!:P)


At first I applied for 3 (full day) leaves... but due to workload in the office.. (eGL phase 2 will be implemented on 1st November, Autodisb project in UAT stage, one new project in development stage and one adhoc request in progress! Not to forget BAU and production problems that need my immediate attention!! Stress okay! Urgh!! Benci tau!!).... I had no choice but to take 1/2 day leave for 3 days in a row!


I wish I can continue the 1/2 day leaves next week as Izzaty will be sitting for her final exam next week... and not to forget both kids are sitting for the SRA final exam also next week. Poor Izzaty... she has final exam in both schools morning and eve! Hope she can cope...


Hmmm.... is there any company yang offer kerja 1/2 day aje... with the same salary??? huhu... wishful thinking! :P

Izzat & Hedzry

Yesterday eve, I received an SMS from Izzat's BFF's mom, Nani :

"Hi. I ada cita kelakar nak bagitau u. Tadi Izzat tanya Hedzry why mama Hedzry punya tummy besar. Dia tanya mengandung ke. Si Hedzry pulak jawab x mengandung. So Izzat told Hedzry to get me masuk Biggest Loser Asia since I'm so huge now. Hahahaha! Dwen ngan I punya le gelak besar. He sees me everyday and must be wondering why in the world I'm getting bigger and bigger!"

LOL!! Sometimes we wonder what the children talk about among them... and now I know... small boys pun bergossip like makcik-makcik!! :D Kesian la Nani yang dah sarat mengandung disuruhnya masuk Biggest Loser Asia!!! Ish ish... anak aku nih... :D Nasib baik le Aunty Nani tak ambil hati dengan mulut laser Izzat tu... huhu... malu mama tau :P

Post raya makan2!

Yeah, we know that Syawal is over! But Kak Azian Elias, a good friend of ours... who is also an active travel buddy member said 'Nak buat makan2 tak semestinya in Syawal, right?" You are absolutely right, Kak Yan!! :)

Kak Yan's house is in Shah Alam. Since both hubby and I are not familiar with that area, we had to get help from my Nokia's Garmin GPS :) Also invited for the makan2 gathering at kak Yan's house was a special guest from Jakarta, Indonesia - Yanti Seoparta. Yanti is of course another active travel buddy member :) She was in Kuala Lumpur for a few days before traveling to India with her friends.

The food??? wahhh.... penuh satu meja you!!! :D Kak Yan is an excellent cook! We had Laksa Johor, Nasi Goreng Oregano, yummy salad, grilled lamb, roasted chicken, delicious hot & tasty nachos, cup cake, trifle.... err... did I miss anything Kak Yan??? Perghh.. I ate A LOT!! I mean really... the food were unresistable!! :D I was (I still am!!) sooooooo impressed with your cooking skill Kak Yan! Malu pulak rasanya nak ajak you come over to our place... as I have very limited culinary skill... huhu... :D

Such a nice number, don't you think so?

Did you all catch the wedding of our first astronaut on TV?? He is super-duper cute... I have to say ;)

While everybody was busy talking about the handsome astronaut getting married on 10.10.10 at Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque in Putrajaya... we were actually at the Putrajaya International Convention Center for our kids' KUMON ASHR ceremony :)

It was our first time in PICC... wow... very, very impressive! We like! There were so many activities going on at PICC on 10.10.10 and there were lots of people wandering around! The funny thing was... we did not know that the reception for the 'wedding of the year' was going to be held at the very same place :D

Anyway, this year KUMON ASHR ceremony was so grand! More students were honored to be there this year compared to the previous years. Since the ceremony was canceled last year due to the H1N1 outbreak... the KUMON completers for last year were also awarded this year... so they have lots of completers on the stage as well! Sangat, sangat meriah! :)

This year... Izzat's BFF Hedzry who happened to be our good friends - Nani and Dwen's son, is also a gold student... his first time attending the ceremony! Congratulations Hedz!! Aunty tau Hedzry memang hebat!!! :)

We wanted to perform our Zuhur prayer first before entering the hall... unfortunately, by the time we reached PICC and sent the kids for registration, the ceremony was already about to start....

The stage - the pic was taken 1 minute and 57 seconds before the ceremony starts - as stated on the big screen.

After the grand opening and speeches, the award giving ceremony started with the completers as first recipients. Since there were lots of completers... hubby took the chance to go for Zuhur prayer first. By the time he came back, the award giving for the pre-schoolers up to primary 2 students had already started. I hesitated to go... did not want miss my Izzat's turn... but it was nearly 4pm... and I did not want to miss my Zuhur prayer either! So off I went to fetch Izzaty first (need to ask permission from the Kumon staff before I 'kidnapped' Izzaty for prayer). Then we had to go for surau-hunting! Hubby did mention that the surau is at the mezzanine floor... but PICC is so big that we got lost to find the mezzanine floor... boleh?? :P.

It was during the surau-hunting that I noticed a signboard with a picture of our handsome astronaut and his bride at the lobby of the PICC and I realized that their wedding reception was going to be held in that building!!! Wah... what a co-incident that we were in the same building on the same day!! But unfortunately at a different time! :P

By the time we finished our Zuhur prayer and back to the hall, Nani and Dwen told me that Izzat has just left the stage.... sheesh!! I missed seeing my little boy on stage!!!! :( Frust betul..... rasa nak nangis pun ada! :P And lagi nak nangis bila dengar Dwen cakap.. " Kitorang tadi sibuk borak2... tiba2 je nama Izzat kena panggil! Kelam kabut Razak nak ambil gambar!". Aduhai... what can I say..... end up... ada 2 keping aje gambar Izzat yang dapat diambil while he was on stage... and both were taken from the big screen.... (tak dapat jarak dekat!). This is one of the 2 pics taken...

Izzaty was luckier. Ayah, after feeling guilty missing Izzat's turn... was more alert waiting for Izzaty's turn. So more pictures of Izzaty on the stage were taken...

Izzaty's name on the big screen. Both my kids only got gold award in Maths subject... hence the "MATHS GOLD". Those who got gold in 2 or more subjects would have something like... "MATHS GOLD/ENGLISH GOLD" . Hope one day I would be able to see the kids with these accomplishment :)

Selepas puas berposing in front of the stage... we decided to go back. On the way down.. I told hubby that I wanted to take pics in front of Datuk Muszaphar Shukor marriage signboard that I saw just now... Bila lagi kan? ;) Thought by then Nani and her family would have gone back... but nope... saw them posing in front of the exact signboard!! :) Well, one group pic please.... :)

We peeked into the reception hall. In front of the entrance there was a barrier to avoid public to enter the reception hall, I guess! But I saw a few people (who were holding the KUMON bags.. obviously they were also from the KUMON ceremony) posing inside (not far from the entrance). And we were like "hey... how come they can go in???" Then suddenly hubby just walked over the barrier and asked us to do the same.... what the....???? Over la pulak laki aku nih!! Nani who was far behind saw us and excitedly ajak I masuk sekali. Oh what the heck.. masuk jugak lah ! :)

...and.... OH MY GOD!!! The reception hall was soooo GRAND!!! I tell you!!! The hall smelt of fresh flowers! The light, the flowers, the smell and everything in the hall were so romantic!!

Izzaty sempat posing... but right after this pic was taken... kami dengan hormatnya diminta keluar kerana tidak mahu mengganggu rehearsal :D Pendek kata kena halau lah... kah kah! :D

Syukur alhamdulillah.... I thank Allah for this wonderful gift :) Semoga anak2 Mama akan terus berjaya menjadi 'Gold Student' dan dijemput lagi untuk menghadiri majlis sebegini di tahun2 yang akan datang dan semoga anak2 Mama menjadi anak yang cemerlang dunia dan akhirat... Aamin :)

Old Girls Raya Get-together

The Syawal was over! It's already Zulkaedah! But hey... there are still lots of open house invitations! I guess the Raya Spirit is still lingering... one month beraya still not enough, eh? =) Anyway, yesterday I attended TKC/OGA Raya get-together at Hotel Singgahsana, Petaling Jaya. I had no idea how to go there... thanks to my phone's Garmin... and little help from my co-pilot @ Izzaty... we finally reached there around 2.30pm. Met Germ and daughter, Nurin at the parking lot and together we entered the hall :)

When we reached the hall, we were directed to table 17. And at table 17... these 2 girls were already there...

Ita and Emy... seperti biasa menceriakan majlis. You guys look great! By the way, Ita won the 3rd place in the best dress category :) Way to go babe! :)

Another person at the table was Husniza - a friend that I've never met ever since after SPM. Good to see you again Hus! :)

An MP3!!!! Purple colour somemore!!! I like!!!! :)

Nurin, Germ's daughter was like "Biar betul?? semua orang dapat ke???" Hehehe... it is a cool present eh? :) It's a made-in-China-MP3... but who cares... it's still an MP3!! Nice colour somemore! I like!! :) As you probably figured out from the above pic... the MP3 was a present from one of the Old Girls - Kak Ijad... or well known as YB Dato' Seri Shahrizad Abdul Jalil. The MP3 is also completed with 114 surah in the Al-Quran... complete with translation! I totally love it!!! Thank you Kak Ijat!! :)

There was also a bazaar organized by OGA in the hall - so as usual... kami pun mencuci2 mata mencari apa yang berkenan di hati :)

Izzaty was aiming for this keychain eversince I got mine during the previous OGA AGM meeting. So okay lah.... bought 1 for her (got katak some more on the key chain.. lol!) and I bought the black bag.

The guest of honour , YB Dato' Seri Shahrizad Jalil arrived at around 4.00pm.

There was also the launching of HANI (Health Awareness Network Initiatives) book. HANI was created by the OGA to promote health awareness among the general public. It represents OGA's participation in community service by sharing their medical knowledge and expertise within the OGA group with the public. Good job girls! :)

So okay people! Time to eat!! :) The food?? Hmmm... so-so lah! I would not say 'excellent' in taste... but again... takde la tak sedap :D Izzaty said the laksa was delicious (2 kali tambah you!) ... and I myself enjoyed the the kuih tart and murtabak :)
