Perginya Dora bersama MH17 :'((

Ever since 17/07/14 around 11:30pm+, air mata ini begitu mudah mengalir mengenangkan nasib anakanda Nur Diyana Yazeera yang kehilangan bonda tersayang, Dora Shahila yang bertugas sebagai krew dalam pesawat MH17.

Malam tu selepas Terawih as usual, the asterix mommies rancak berbual... Then Kak Chah @ Datuk Hafsah began sending news on MH17 incident. 

Tengah rancak berbual pasal incident ni, suddenly Sue mencelah asking 'Dora, are u okay?' But no answer from our friend, Dora...

Malam itu, beberapa asterix mommies tidak dapat tidur dengan pemergian seorang dari sahabat kami dan mengenangkan nasib anakanda Diyana... :'(( 

Dora is a single mom and Diyana is her one and only baby. Can you imagine how Diyana felt when she heard the news??! 

Her friend,Merissa tweeted about Dee's reaction when her grandma came to tell her the news and wanted to bring her home. She refused to accept the fact that her mom is no longer alive. Puas kawan2 memujuk sehinggalah an aunt that was closest to her came... Nangis dengar cerita ni ;((

Guru2 dan rakan2... In fact satu sekolah menangis bersama anakanda Diyana di pagi Jumaat yg bersejarah itu... :''((

Tabahkan lah hati mu anakanda Diyana menghadapi ujian ini..  Kuatkan semangat mu Dee! Segala yang berlaku adalah rahsia Allah SWT. Bonda mu pergi di bulan Ramadhan yg sungguh mulia ini... Ternyata Allah lebih menyayanginya... ;'(( We assure you, the asterix mommies will always be there for you... you will not be alone, insyaAllah... 

Asterix mommies telah sebulat suara bersetuju to adopt Dee... We love you Diyana... U are part of our children's life and therefore, you are also like our own child...

Iftar under the full moon

Yesterday, our iftar was at my sis-in-law's place in USJ. Alhamdulillah, dapat berbuka with my in-laws pula...

Got USJ famous laksa johor... Memang the bomb!!! ;))) And local fruits from kampung... marvelous!! ;)) 

Berbuka in the open air under the beautiful full moon of malam 15 Ramadhan... Awesome!

Since Izzaty was not around, Cik Alea had the pleasure of teaching her Nenek on the art of selfie using a monopod... Hehehe :D

Beriya2 buat the night before... huhu! Chose to put strawberry on top as I know my nephew, Ilhan just LOVES strawberry :)) Alhamdulillah... everybody like it!! Licin u all!! :)) I like!! Berbaloi I buat tau... hehe :)))

Today is already 15th of Ramadhan. Time really flies! Soon it will be the last 10 days of Ramadhan - which will be the peak of Ramadhan and very special to all Moslem around the world...

I know I haven't maximized my effort to do all the recommended acts this Ramadhan. But selagi Ramdhan masih ada... Dan selagi nyawa dikandung badan di bulan Ramadhan ini... Kita masih boleh berusaha kan?!  Jom kawan2 kita perbanyakkan lagi amalan di 10 malam terakhir Ramadhan ini dan mengejar malam Lailatur Qadar... #SelfReminder

A Certified Software Tester ;))

Alhamdulillah, I finally got my CTFL exam result today ;))

For the first time in my life, I got my self certified ;)) Am happy to announce that I am now a Certified Software Tester... woohoo!!! :D

Iftar @ RnR Dengkil

I wanted to send Izzaty back to kolej early yesteray but since she still hadn't finish with her PT3 Sejarah and Geography assignments, I decided to send her back later in the evening (the girls are allowed to berbuka puasa with their family and be back in college before 9:30pm).

Mr Hubby had to go to the office on Sunday and stay there the whole day... So today, hanya kami bertiga dapat berbuka puasa bersama :( We decided to tapau Nando's on our way to Bandar Enstek and break our fast at RnR Dengkil... Just like we did last year. If we were to berbuka at home sweet home... Confirm x sempat sampai kolej by 9:30pm! RnR Dengkil is convenient... Very near to Bandar Enstek and the surau is very comfy for us to perform our Maghrib prayer after iftar ;)

RnR Dengkil was full house!! Punya la ramai manusia! We managed to get the 2nd last seat... Lambat jer sket x de seat dah... Phew! I saw some people berbuka in their cars...

Kesian Mr Hubby berbuka puasa seorang diri at an Old Town Cafe along the NKVE highway.... :((Oh well... I guess that is nothing new... yours truly will have to berbuka puasa seorang diri at home this week juga as  Mr Hubby will be going outstation to Pahang again for a few days... huhu.

Anyway, we continued our journey to Bandar Enstek after our Maghrib prayer at the RnR surau.

Reached tkc before 8:30pm. 

Sungguh gelap gulita kolej di malam hari...

Sent Izzaty to kolej surau for Isyak and Terawih jemaah prayer... Alhamdulillah, walaupun mama x sempat berterawih malam tu (again!!), anakanda yg sorang ni berpeluang... Huhu. Bye Izzaty... study hard for the PT3! Love you... 

This morning I sent Izzat to to catch a bus at UTC Puduraya pula...  Now, tinggallah mama and ayah berdua lagi... and mama would be home alone from tomorrow onwards till weekend.... :''((

Till Raya Hols kiddos.... will be missing you guys... a lot! :(

Super Busy Saturday

I left home as early as 7:15am this Saturday for TKC 3-penjuru activity. Hubby and Izzat did not follow as I had other plan in the afternoon which they were not interested to join :P

Result wise? Okay laa.. Alhamdulillah. Didn't get 8As this time around. B for English. Others mostly 'cukup makan'... Huhu. PT3 dah dekat ni... The exam fever dah mula menular nampaknya... Huhu.

Anyway, in the afternoon we left Bandar Enstek for Masjid Kampung Tunku, Petaling Jaya. Thanks to Mr Waze, managed to find that place and reached there right on time for TKC OGA tadarus event ;)) 

TKC girls under 'Project Khas' were also involved in the event.

Something funny happened. I came with intention to be a tadarus participant jer... Tetiba, due to tak cukup org kot... Naik pangkat lak jadi ketua kumpulan... Lol! Terkedu gak... Layak ke mak ni lead the team?? Masa tu la rasa bersyukur sangat2 masuk kelas ngaji Ustazah Sue.. Huhu. Nasib baik lah kena join group yg baca juz 30... MasyaAllah, lega sket. Juz 30 byk surah pendek2 and yg biasa kami baca... Alhamdulillah, dipermudahkan. Later, a local makcik, a kariah from the mosque volunteered to join us... Alhamdulillah, dipermudahkan lagi ;)) Our group was the first to finish kot... Ye la kan... Baca pun ayat pendek2 jer huhu :D 

The juz 30 group - me and 2 first former project khas girls - sorry lupa nama but one from Pahang, another one from Kedah. Both can read the quran beautifully, masyaAllah... Sejuk perut mak bapak...

The event supposed to end after berbuka puasa. But I had made plan to berbuka with my siblings on that day... So yeah, left the place around 6pm++.

Izzaty and I were given some souvenirs for participating in this event...

Izzaty got the green bag with all these goodies - a small packaging of air zam-zam, cookies, telur rebus, magazine, some candies and nougat (yum!) and a cute purse with candies inside ;)

Yours truly got a more special bag.. Contents nya sama jer kat atas tu but with these extra goodies...

Kain batik and lotsa candies and nougat.. Wooohoo!! Okay gak jadi ketua kumpulan ni ek :D

Meriah sungguh - daging masak asam pesas, roti jala and kari, taugeh and tauhu masak lomak, laksa utara, atam goreng, ayamas bbq, kuih pulut panggang, kuih pelita, seri muka... Pergh, sungguh la byk! Sorry x byk gamba sebab sibuk menikmati juadah makanan hahah.

Yours truly cuma diarahkan membeli kek for the bln-puasa-birthday-kiddos - aisyah, ojan, farhan, johan, sara... Err tu je kot -_- I felt like eating Secret Recipe's almond brownies! Tetiba rasa ngidam bulan puasa ni... hahaha! :D

Mr Hubby went to Mid Valley for an IT exhibition and bought a monopod and fish eye just for fun :D

So my girl and I tried the monopod thingy...

This year, Sara and Danisyah couldn't make it to this gathering... we miss you girls!! :(

Well... For 2 days in a row saya tak berterawih. Super tired, but had a blast today. Gotto spend quality time with family and friends... *blessed.... syukur alhamdulillah...*

Iftar @ Surau Al Insaf

My very first experience breaking fast at Surau Al Insaf, Menara Maybank today...

Simple dishes to be shared with the other Muslimah, alhamdulillah...

No, no... No special event or anything here. This Ramadhan, every day there'll be a simple menu served at Surau Al Insaf during Iftar... Alhamdulillah :) 

Ate a kurma and a karipap with a glass of tea before our jamaah Maghrib prayer and then shared rice in a dulang berlaukkan ikan bakar and air asam with the other Muslimahs... MasyaAllah, more rezeki on a barakah Friday ;))

Tapi baru makan dua suap nasi, my phone suddenly rang... 'Hello Mama, izzat dah sampai Sg Buluh ni'. Maka kelam kabut la mamanya meninggalkan Menara Maybank untuk menjemput anakanda tersayang ;))

Another round of makan2 (tadi serious x sempat kenyang ;P) at Burger King RnR Sg Buluh temankan anakanda yg belum makan for berbuka puasa... ;))

So no terawih tonight for mama.... Huhu.. :((

Tonight, Izzat is coming home for the weekend... Yeay!! And tomorrow, there's another 3-penjuru meeting at Izzaty's school. She can come back after the meeting... Yeay!! The 4 of us will finally be under one roof for the first time this Ramadhan ;))
