Rojak & Cendol time! :)

I accompanied my colleague, Tda to Bangsar today to renew her hubby's driving licence @ Pos Malaysia Jalan Telawi. Later we decided to have rojak and cendol @ Petronas Jalan Maarof, Bangsar for lunch! :)

Wah... dah lama tak pekena rojak mamak Petronas Bangsar nih! :) Tambah sambal sotong some more okay - memang OVER! :) :) :) Perghh... sedap as always! :) Pekena cendol on a hot Malaysian weather memang BEST!! :) My tummy is full and I am one happy lady :)

Why we chose to eat here? We (ex-Auto Finance IT staff who used to work at Dataran Maybank Bangsar) have fond memories of this mobile rojak stall :) Used to be our lepak2 area during lunch time :) Zaman2 happy di Bangsar dulu..... huhu!

p/s : Am in happy mode now! :) Izzaty's coming home today! :) Esok the 4 of us are going to Kuching.. yeay!! :)

The Tunku Kurshiah Orchestra Royal Concert

I went to the Tunku Kurshiah Orchestra Royal Concert last Sunday. The concert was AWESOME!! It was a gratifying weekend well worth the trip from the comfort home in Lucky Hill to Dewan Agung Tuanku Chanselor UiTM Shah Alam! :) And ohhh.... how UiTM changed since I left in 1991!! And hey... I got the chance to reminiscing my UiTM years too! *menyelam sambil minum air! :) *

Back to the Tuanku Kurshiah Orchestra Royal Concert.... like I said... it was AWESOME!! SUPERB!! EXCELLENT!! AMAZING!! :) The girls are really, really talented!! :)

Congratulations girls!! For a very, very, very impressive performance!! Two thumbs up!! You guys really made TKC proud!!

Congratulations also to the organising committee for a great job!!

Well done you all!! I can imagine all the extensive practices for the girls and all the hard work of the organising committee!! Kudos!!

Dewan Agung Tuanku Chanselor UiTM Shah Alam was full.... TKC students, parents, old girls, special guests including students from other SBP and other guests were excited to be there :)

Keberangkatan tiba tetamu Di Raja DYMM yang DiPertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus dan DYMM Tuanku Ampuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus.

The concert starts with Adibah Noor singing the Negeri Sembilan Anthem. 

My, my...dah lama tak nyanyi lagu Negeri Sembilan!! Dan sebagai anak jati Nogoghi... dengan bangganya saya turut menyanyi  lagu Negeri Sembilan bersama Adibah Noor!! :) 
Berrrrrkatt lah Yang DiPertuan Besar Negeri Sembilann..... *dengan penuh patriotik okay! hehe!*

Guest artist ~ the adorable Adibah Noor! She was awesome! Sang beautiful songs like Terlalu Istimewa, Hujan (OST from Mokhsin), Whitney Houston's 'Greatest Love of All', Areo Speedwagon's  'Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore' and more... memang de Bomb la you!!! :)

This concert also featured the special appearance of YAM Tunku Zain Al-Abidin ibni Tunku Muhriz performing with the Kurshiah Orchestra

Piano duet ~ YAM Tunku Zain with his cousin, YM Tengku Sarah Rahayu Tg Baharudin (who also happened to be an ex-Kurshian).

The rendition by YAM Tunku Zain and YM Tengku Sarah rounded up the concert flawlessly and I really enjoyed Tunku Zain's rendition of One Republics' 'Apologize' together with the Kurshiah Orchestra!! A very talented handsome man I must say! :)

The show ended around 5.30pm. It was a FUNTABULOUS event and I certainly had a great time!! :) Congratulations again to the girls and the committee team!! You guys really did a superb job! :) 

Sakit Badan :(

I was on MC on the Valentine's day this year.... not to ponteng kerja to celebrate Valentine or anything... but seriously sakit okay!! :P The whole body was in pain especially the shoulder part. Yeah... I am really catching up with my age :P At this age, the traveling to/from work/home every day are finally affecting my health *sigh!*

Anyway, last Saturday I decided to get a good 2 hours massage. There's a shop in Lucky Hill.... Kampungku Reflexology which was recommended by some FB friends and my kind friend, Dr Aniza.

This is not a spa... but the painful traditional urut one! The girl who massaged me was Lucy, a Philippine girl. Goodness... she is super strong... I tell you... sakittttttt!!!! Tapi mmg best lah! But I guess dah lama tak massage serious sakit macam ni.... balik tu terus demam... orang tua2 kata demam urat?? Urgh.... BIG TIME!! Seram2 sejuk satu  badan!! Dr Aniza advised me to take a panadol and have a good sleep after the massage... which I did :) Felt much better the next day... alhamdulillah :)

How much did I pay for the 2 hours massage? RM90 - is that mahal ke murah ek? I am not sure.. . sebab ni first time datang kedai urut in Malaysia :D My last massage experience was in Bali last March... but that one tak sakit one.... pampered punya urut :D

Sakit punya pasal... weekend ni tak kemas rumah pun :( Thanks god, my princess is home for the weekend.... she helped me a lot! Tolong iron her brother's school uniforms for one week, kemas rumah sket2...ect. Thank you my darling girl... Love you so much! *muah!*

P/S : I had to get well by Sunday because I wanted to go to the Tunku Kurshiah Orchestra Royal Concert!!! :D Will write about this awesome concert later...

Sambung Kelas Ngaji

After months of 'resting' from attending kelas mengaji Ustazah Suraya... I am now back in class :) Ustazah Sue was on maternity leaves... and later when she started the class again, naughty yours truly asyik pooonnnnteng ajer... with lots of lame excuses of course :D So teruk kan? :P

Today, alhamdulillah, baru free sket nak attend class... :) Now, where're my ngaji books and notes....

Well, today I had to sit right beside ustazah... haha! Reminds me of my childhood years... murid2 lembam memang kena duduk sebelah cikgu - lol!

Ustazah Sue.... I really, really miss you!! :)  Terima kasih kerana sudi ajar saya... walau pun saya malas masuk kelas :D

A short trip to Kuantan

Dear Hubby had a last minute appointment at Pekan, Pahang on the Thaipusam day. Since it was a public holiday for both Selangor and FT, Izzat and yours truly decided to tag along :) Too bad Izzaty was not around :( We miss you so much kak long.. :(

We used the Batang Kali-Genting Sempah-Karak route to Kuantan. Took us about 3 and 1/2 hours to reach there :)

Our room... quite comfy for the 3 of us :)

There's nothing much we could do in 2 days and 1 night in Kuantan. Izzat wanted to visit the Gambang Water Park.... sorry dear... not this time! It would be too tiring.... next time okay... may be with Kak Long Zaty around :)

So what did we do in Kuantan in such a short time???

Shopping, cuci-mata and had lunch @ Kuantan Mega Mall :)

Lepaking @ Teluk Chempedak and watched these kids playing kites.... beautiful scenery and very relaxing to the mind... I like! :)

A trip to Tanjung Lumpur as suggested by my SRKDIan girlfriends :)

And had dinner here... :)

While hubby was attending business, yours truly killed time by accompanying  Izzat swimming @ the hotel pool :)

That's all we did in Kuantan!! :) Last but not least, before leaving Kuantan... we had lunch @ McDonald Teluk Chempedak... Izzat wanted to taste the Prosperity Burger again :) Tu jer... later back to home-sweet-home :)

Why I love FT Day? Cause it's the ONE AND ONLY day that people who work in FT could 'eksyen' a bit with others who work in other states especially Selangor! :) haha :D

Izzat was so jealous cause mama did not have to go to work  but he had to go to school... haha!

So what did I do on FT Day this year?? Got the chance to lepak2 with my girlfriend from primary school years... Pijah! :)
