Tadarus @ Surau Al Insaf, Menara Maybank

This Ramadhan, for the first time, Surau Al Insaf @ Menara Maybank organised a Majlis Tadarus for its Muslimat staff. 

Yours truly being 'budak baru belajar' was interested to join but wasn't confident enough to register myself  as a participant... Hehe. A friend of mine, Dina felt the same thing. So kami berpakat untuk menekadkan diri untuk mendaftarkan nama sebagai peserta tadarus -_-. 

And we are so glad we did!! ;)

Alhamdulillah, majlis berjalan lancar walaupun ada sedikit kelam kabut in the beginning. Dina and I was assigned to read the whole ayat in Juz 23. Alhamdulillah... juz 23 includes the half part of Yaasin (yg ni insyaAllah selalu dah practice... Huhu),  As-Syaaffaat (ayat2 dlm surah ini pendek2.... alhamdulillah.. boost out our confident sket... hehe), and a few ayat from surah Shaad. Took us about 2 hours to finish the whole juz. Alhamdulillah... Merasa juga kami mengimarahkan majlis ini :)

15 Ramadhan sudah...

Pejam, celik, pejam, celik... It's already 15th of Ramadhan. How time fly!

The beautiful full moon of 15th Ramadhan... Subhanallah. Taken early in the morning when I was leaving the house to go to work. 

I had such a hectic day today. It was one of those days when you feel like cursing everyone... Haha! Pagi2 lagi user sudah call buat complain production problem and I had to make necessary arrangement to resolve the problem. Had to get approval from our QA, CAB committee, program migration, ect. Tengah sibuk2 tu... Dapat pulak special delivery from Dubai.....

Apple ipod shuffle... Got it by redeeming my emirates points.... Wah... Suka suka!! :)) Terhibur sket :))

When I was in the CAB meeting, Wewe called as she was coming to pickup some used clothes for Rumah Mahabbah Project that was organised by our Kurshian friend, Lizah Ali. Termengah2 le saya menolak troli ke bawah to deliver 2 bags and 1 box of clothes. Thanks Wewe for helping Lizah picking up the clothes. MasyaAllah... Byk nya pahala you all membuat kerja amal di bulan Ramadhan yang mulia nih...

Today was also the day when I had to claim our department duit raya! Did I tell you I was the chosen one to handle the whole Core Banking duit raya? Pffttt... Baru pikir nak bersara handling duit raya for my section this year... Tup tup nama naik 'promoted' jadi 'boss' duit raya for the whole department pulak... Ish ish :P

And, it wasn't easy I tell you.., it was a huge amount of money!!

Boleh beli satu VW golf kot?? :P

While I was reconciling all the money and  trying to resolve the production problem  at the same time... Nobody dare to come  near me... Haha! Muka dah mcm nak telan org dah.... Hahaha!! Opsss... I puasa okay! Tapi mmg stress giler!! Serious! Huhu.... 

Finally, after Zuhur prayer.., with 6 colleagues accompanying me... We collected these whole loads of $$$ 

OMG... makcik kayo! makcik kayo! hehee :D Duit orang la babe... :P

When I sent this pic to my sis, Na...  She gave me the lyric of this song...  "duit den bertingkek tingkek, duit den bertingkek tingkek" by wareh.... Haha... Rembau most wanted yo!!! :))

My life saver... Mr Yusri who was such an expert  handling and counting the money. Member pernah kerja kat branch dulu jaga kaunter. And alhamdulillah, within an hour, all the money was successfully distributed to each section... and semua balanced! No need to recalculate or anything.... phew, lega!! Good job guys!  Thank you so much for your cooperation! Really appreciate it! ;)

Welllll..... dah 15 Ramadhan u all... Lagu raya dah start berkumandang di radio!! Raya sales are every where! But don't forget to catch the bigger sales that Allah offers us by doing the recommended act during these last few days of Ramadhan! :) Enjoy the rest of this beautiful month of Ramadhan... ❤

Berbuka @ R&R Dengkil

The tkc girls are not allowed to go OB (outing bermalam) during this month of Ramadhan. But, they are allowed to go OH (outing harian) once a week during the weekend. They are allowed to go OH from 3 to 9:30pm. Well... It was until 9pm at the beginning but lots of parents complained.... Ya lor.... Buka pose dah pukul 7:30pm... Makan, solat, ect.... Mana la sempat nak balik by 9pm! Dah ler x de good restaurants in Bdr Enstek yg open this Ramadhan... Which left us to go to Nilai/Bangi area... Agak kelam kabut la kan.... So alhamdulillah, after all the hassle and complains... Bonda Pengetua extended it to 9:30pm.

We did not come to visit Izzaty last weekend... So this week, we picked her up on Saturday for OH and went to Setia Mall in Shah Alam. Raya shopping? Hmm... Kind of laaa... But more like jalan2 cuci mata jer ;) Tapau pizza, alfredo and some kind of cheezy rice (a Ramadhan package) from Papa John's and a dozen of doughnuts from Krispy Kreme ;)) 

Why tapau? Because we did not want Izzaty to be late balik kolej... And we ourselves wanted to be back in Lucky Hill  early. So, we stopped at dengkil R&R for buka puasa....

First time makan pizza Papa John's. 

Kid's first experience with Krispy Kreme doughnuts. We actually prefer Big Apple doughnuts but somehow we could not find Big Apple outlets in Setia Mall :((  Dah beli Krispy Kreme, baru jumpa Big Apple outlet! :P Anyway, we ate a few of these doughnuts and the rest tu rezeki kawan2 Izzaty la...

And hey.... Boleh tahan ramai manusia yg berbuka di sini... 

 

First time kot.... Kami berbuka di R&R...

Why R&R Dengkil? Because it's the most convenient place for us considering the situation and location. There's a surau for us to conveniently perform our Maghrib prayer. And from this place to Bdr Enstek is not that far.... So x perlu rushing and kelam kabut ;)

By 8:30pm, Izzaty was safely back in TKC ;)  

On our way home to Lucky Hill, Mr Hubby sudah complain lapar... X puas makan pizza jer.... Haha! So, singgah pulak kat Mc Donald at Petronas tepi highway kat Subang area... 

Bubur ayam for mr hubby, fries and oreo McFlury for Izzat, apple pie for yours truly and a cup of milo shared by yours truly and mr hubby ;)

Balik kepenatan... But alhamdulillah, sempat berterawih sendiri2... Tidur lena kepenatan sampai hampirrrr terbabas sahur the next day... Huhu!

Alhamdulillah... Dipermudahkan semua... ;))

Received an SMS at 12:48 in the morning from a neighbour informing me that my next-door neighbour's husband (they just got married last march) passed away at Hospital Selayang. Innalillahirojiun...

Sedihnya... :'((  Harap Kak Yam kuat menghadapi dugaan ini.... :'((

Dari DIA kita datang dan kepada DIA kita kembali...

Izzat and UPSR 1st trial

Anakanda Izzat dah start trial UPSR since yesterday. Dalam takwim sekolah kata UPSR minggu depan.... rupanya dah dipercepatkan ke minggu ni... sikit pun dia tak habaq ngan mama dia!! Pfftttt.....

Terkejut badak le mamanya bila Mama Hedzry bagitau yang minggu ni trial!! Saba yo laaaa... :P

Mama doakan Izzat boleh buat yang terbaik ya.... walau pun tak sempat intensip ulangkaji...

Breaking fast with my family ❤

It has been a tradition in our family for the past few years to buka puasa with our mom on the 1st Saturday of Ramadhan :))

Dulu, when I have bibik at home, I would organize the gathering and invited families from both sides (mine and hubby's) for buka puasa. But now that I am bibikless... X larat ler nak buat kan. Alhamdulillah... my sisters and brother understand... So they took over the 'organizing' part. Alhamdulillah... the tradition continues :)) So for the past 2 years... Our family gathering buka puasa was organized by my eldest sis, Along ;))

This year, 4 persons could not make it for this majlis berbuka puasa - my bro-in-law, Saadan who is outstation in Melaka and my nieces and daughter - Sara, Izzaty and Danisyah who are all in boarding school. 

It's potluck... So macam2 ler food ada... Tapi as usual... Old time favourite is Roti Jala ;)) Semua org pakat amek roti jala dulu.... Kejap jer dah habis... Lol! :D Berbaloi ler Wan Chik menjala ya!! ;))

Baby Ika x puasa... Baring jer laaa ;)) She's so adorable!! :)

Another old time favourite... Bubur kacang plus durian... ;)) Well... Not my favourite la kan since I fon't eat durian ( lupa diri yg dulu kecik2 membesar dlm kobun durian!! :P) but the others love it!!

I ate this for dessert instead... Bread pudding yg yummy!! ;))

p/s: This Ramadhan I thought of Bibik Surini... really miss her :'(  Dreamt of her a few days ago. My mom said kalau kita mimpi seseorang... tandanya orang tu ingat kat kita... ye ke? *praying that Bibik Surini is doing well over there in Indonesia*

Another pre-Ramadhan makan2 ;))

Okay... this is part 2 of pre-Ramadhan makan2 :D 

This time around I joined my Kurshian friends :) These ladies usually go for makan2 on Wednesdays... almost every week! But I have never join them as their lunch-dates are usually at the Petaling Jaya/Damansara area which is not convenient for me to go. But somehow, this week they arranged to go makan2 on Tuesday (as Wednesday.. that is tomorrow is already Ramadhan) at Ikan Bakar Tanglin... which is quite near to my office. And since Wewe voluntarily offered herself as supir to fetch me from my office to Jalan Tanglin... I have no reason not to join, kan? ;)

Surprise, surprise.... not only wewe wearing purple... the other Cik Kiah who joined the lunch meeting were all wearing purple!! :) Serious tak plan tau! :))

Only 5 of us managed to make it for this lunch - Nani, Rinnie, Ma and yours truly. Wewe was the camera-lady so she was not in the pic. Wishing the others could join us... tapi may be location kali ni not so convenient for them... and most of them were not free... huhu!

 

Siap ada live band lagi!! Wonderful! These boys are really talented! We really enjoyed their performance! :)

Okay lah... sedikit preview on what we ate...

Siap request coffee and teh tarik lagi after lunch! haha! Ma siap landing at my shoulder kengantukan after makan! kih kih! :D It was good to see them again :)) Nani, Wewe, Rinnie and Mar were all my classmates for 3 years (form 1K, 2K and 3K). Thanks girls for the company! I had a great time! :))

Well, Ramadhan is here people!! Happy Fasting!! Let us all try our best to make it a better Ramadhan than the previous years!! :))

Pre-Ramadhan makan2 with CikKiahs :))

It's a tradition... a few days before Ramadhan, we will go somewhere to 'makan beso'. I know it's not a good habit... but give chance la yaa.... sekali jer dalam setahun... hehehe :D So yesterday, off we go for makan2...  

Venue : Restoran Rebung, Bangsar.

Believe it or not... the restaurant was fully booked yesterday!

Another busy weekend

I had a wonderful weekend with my family... Too much fun sampai byk kerja rumah tergendala -_-

With anak terunaku yg camera-shy during our family photography session on Saturday. My mom, parents-in-laws, grandma-in-law were all at our place under one roof for the weekend for the photo shooting event. Will share the family pics once it's ready, insyaAllah ;)

Izzaty and cousin Nisya during family gathering at my youngest sis' house in Shah Alam on Sunday before both of them balik asrama. Nisya is in her first year in KYS this year ;) 

A tiring drive to Bandar Enstek today as there was a fatal accident on the way to KLIA exit :(( 

Current mode : super tired :((

Okay lor... Can't write long... I have a big bucket of clothes to be folded :P and another big bucket to be put into Mr Samsung, the washing machine -_-
