Trick or treat?

Nope, I don't celebrate Halloween. But every year, during Halloween Day, teringat balik zaman2 remajaku masa belajar di US :) The kids were going trick-or-treat around our house area... and our house was not spared. When they rang our house bell, my housemates and I decided to play along by opening the door and gave them a fright by wearing our Halloween costumes - our TELEKUNG!! :D Kira okay lagi laa... since we did give them chocs and sweets (whatever that was left in our refrigerator as we did not prepare anything special for Halloween.. haha!)... tapi paling priceless, my friends in UK who wore the same costume (standard costume la rupanya telekong ni for Halloween... haha!) gave the children asamboi!!! LoL! Tak leh imagine gaya muka anak2 mat salleh tu bila makan asamboi! :)))

Today's plan is to visit anakanda in Bandar Enstek. Maka, pagi2 lagi dah sibuk di  dapur *tiba2 mood rajin ke dapur datang... Which is really unusual muahaha!*

Lunch @ Dayabumi

Went to Dayabumi for lunch today with Tin2 (yeay... Dapat naik Tin's Merc! Haha... Jakun betul!) and meet up with Suhit and Wewe there ;)) You guys may wonder.. why larr Dayabumi kan? Coz our friend, Suhit works there... and yes, this engineer lady is one busy lady... susah betul nak jumpa :P

Holla from the 4 of us!! ;)) The 4 of us were classmates for 3 years back in our TKC days. We have not met Suhit (lady in blue tudung) for years!!! I last met her back in 1989 when she visited me at Kolej Jati, ITM :) It was really nice meeting u again babe!!

My lunch menu at Nautica Cafe, Dayabumi. Laksa penang! The taste? Boley laaaa... nice jugak! But I was quite hungry so anything pun would taste nice to my tongue :P

And guess what? Wewe, Tin2 and I were delighted to get these... 

'Doorgift' from Suhit! :D Oh kelassss you Suhit!! Pineapple tart and coconut candy... homecooked by herself okay!! Giler domestic goddess kawan we all nih!!! Sangat sedap okay! The pineapple tarts are super yummy!!! Fresh pineapple! Very impressive la Suhit! 

Not only that... These yummilicious cookies are from Suhit's kitchen too! Giler delicious! Suhit... Our cikgu Sains Rumah Tangga, Puan Siti Rohani would be very, very proud of u babe!!! Like seriously! :D

Well,  I have ordered another balang of these cookies and one balang of tart nenas from Suhit... Haha... orang gemuk mmg la cenggitu kan.. :)))

In search of a waterproof shoes

Okay... Ever since our Xi'an trip, I had made up my mind that I'm gonna get a pair of new shoes that is waterproof and comfy! Serik okay walking around in wet socks and shoes :P

So today, off we went to Sport Direct Outlet in Subang Jaya in the mission of finding a pair of waterproof shoes for moi :))

This place is huge!!! Like seriously! With lotsa choices of sports/outdoor acctivities attires, shoes, equipment... you name it! And the price are very, very reasonable too! Rambang mata mak ok! :D

After walking around and having a hard time deciding on which shoes to buy (there are several waterproof shoes sold here at a very good price), I ended up buying these...

So, macho tak kasut ni?? hehee.. :D See the waterproof label? The shoes are surprisingly light and comfy! I like!! ;)

Somebody managed to 'paw' his dad on a pair of waterproof shoes jugak! :P

Kemain lagi ya Izzat! :D Kasut saiz 7 lak tu... mak aiii... my boy is really growing up! :D

Hmm.... kasut dah beli ni. Really can't wait for our next vacation! ;)) Meanwhile, Kak Long Izzaty is facing her final exam this week.... all the best girl! My prayer for you! ❤

All my sisters and brother and our family members got together with our mom - all under one roof (my Along's house)... Which had not happened for a very long time!! Happy giler!! ;)) *bliss* alhamdulillah... ❤

Hajj - 10 years ago

Sayup2 kedengaran takbir raya dari Masjid Bukit Sentosa Subuh pagi tadi.... tiba2 rasa sebak... :(( Hari ini hari para jemaah haji mengerjakan wukuf di Arafah... teringat pada rakan2 yang menunaikan haji tahun ini... and that remind me of my own experience 10 years ago back in 2003. Oh wow... 10 tahun dah berlalu ya.... rindu rasanya nak tenguk rumah Allah again....

10 years ago, if people asked me... I would say I wasn't ready for Hajj... with Izzat just 1 year-old and still breastfeeding... terasa macam belum bersedia utk menunaikan haji. Bermacam2 bermain di kepala. Surat tawaran dari Tabung Haji dah kali ke2 di terima (first time kami terima, terpaksa reject as I was pregnant of Izzat). Tapi dengan sokongan keluarga dan rakan2 semua.... alhamdulillah... segalanya dipermudahkan.... Allahu Akbar.... syukur sangat2! It was indeed an amazing experience!! Thank you Allah for the invitation... Thank you Allah for giving me the chance to perform rukun Islam ke 5...  Thank you Allah for everything! Syukur... syukur... alhamdulillah...

Keadaan ketika melontar.... zaman ni kawasan melontar hanyalah satu kawasan bulat dan tiada sistem yang sistematik lagi.... so nak pergi melontar tu bagai pergi berperang.... masyaAllah... tak boleh lupa sangat! Hubby basically had to cover me to avoid terjatuh atau tercedera. Manusia berpusu2 dan bertolak2 masuk dan keluar... memang ramai yang cedera. Sekarang ada sistem in-out yang lebih  sistematik lagi... lebih proper lah.. alhamdulillah.

At ladang unta.... my first experience drinking camel milk. For someone who don't drink milk, I think susu unta is not so bad.... seriously! You guys should try okay :)

I had such an amazing experience performing Hajj! Banyak kenangan manis yang tak boleh dilupakan... masyaAllah... :)) Have re-registered myself and hubby (with kids this time!) for Hajj again... tapi lama lagi la queue nya... huhu! Hopefully dalam masa terdekat ni... dapat lah berpeluang menunaikan umrah with the kids dulu..... InsyaAllah... 

The beauty of Tahajjud

I was reading Surah Al Isra last night and got intrigued by these verses...

I know it is hard to wake up for Tahajjud prayer and I myself am guilty for not trying to wake up for tahajjud as much as I should :(( But after reading Surah Al Isra, I found myself saying...."alangkah ruginya diri ini yang mementingkan tidur dari solat tahajud... " *sigh*. 

* Note to myself :  From now on, I will try my very best to perform Tahajjud more often... insyaAllah... Robbiasir walatu asir ya kareem... moga dipermudahkan! 

2in1 meeting ;)

Attended a PIBG meeting at TKC this morning. Recent tragedy in kolej has triggered concern on security issues, hence parents were called for this meeting.

Well, yours truly bukan lah rajin sangat attending a PIBG meeting.. haha! But actually, I kinda promised these ladies below that I would come to this meeting.... 

Finaz (5 years my classmate!), Juita (4 years my dorm-mate/room-mate), Lizah (3 years my classmate) and yours truly ;) So good to meet them again ;) The 4 of us plus Fa (not in pic - 3 years my classmate) sambung lagi meeting at the school canteen (sambil lunch) with our kids later ;) 2 in 1 meeting la kira... Haha! :D 

Physio - The eye opener

Went for physio with Izzaty today. Apparently, my whole body is really, really, really 'tense' ! It is actually worst than I thought -_-.

It was an eye opener to me... *sigh!* When Izreen (the girl who treat me) told me all the facts about my body... I realised I have been ignoring all the 'sign'  that Allah has given me all these while.  Yes, I felt pain on my knee when I overuse my leg (happened after Sydney trip), back pain here and there, headache when stress.... All the signs were there... I jer yg x reti2 to slow down.., *sigh*.

As for Izzaty, we were told that her right leg (the one that injured last year), the muscle at the scar area where the operation was done last year is very week.... that's the reason why her right leg get injured easily... no wonder la asyik sakit jer kaki dia ni :P From now on, she has to do some stretching exercise to strengten the muscle. And be careful okay.... tak larat dah mama kena layan sakit kaki dia ni... huhu!

Alhamdulillah, I felt much, much better after physio. Although my body is aching all over right now, I know it's gonna feel much better later... insyaAllah.

Must take better care of myself now -_- *mode insaf :P*

Must go see Izreen more... InsyaAllah.

Mom and daughter on MC

I was on MC last Monday (hmm...2 years in a row dah ni,  lepas CSR je MC on Monday -_-). Yeap... shoulder pain again -_-. Injection kat b*nt*t you! :P And tens treatment.... phew!

I was just resting after coming back from clinic that morning when my phone rang. It was a call from tkc. The sickbay patron called to inform that Izzaty hurt her leg... her ankle was swollen and she could not walk. Dapat MC 5 hari. So "puan boleh datang jemput dia petang ni bawak balik ya until Friday" -_- Pffttt....  baru jer nak rehat... :((

Tu diaa... bengkak kaki dia... adoii aiii.... again... :((

This shoulder pain has been bugging me for years -_-. After 16 years of travelling back and forth from Bkt Beruntung to KL everyday... I guess my body could not take it anymore :`(( So, I finally made an appointment to do physio to ease the pain... or better still... make the pain go away! Shoo! shoo!! :P The appointment is on Friday... and nope... it's not gonna be in a hospital or a clinic. I was recommended by my colleague, Da to meet this awesome girl, Izreen who do physio at her home in Bandar Melawati. Wish me luck.. I really hope it's not gonna be painful... huhu!
