IT Dinner - Oscar Nite Glittering Black & White

It's IT Dinner 2009!! The theme was "Oscar Nite Glittering Black and White". The venue was at Lagend Hotel, KL:) Hmm... malas nak pegi sebeno nya... but decided to go jugak... just to 'tunjuk muka' to all the bosses masa dinner... takut nanti tak dapat marks for 'Core Value' pulak.. kih kih! :D What did I wear?? Hmm... just plain black and white kebaya.... not glitter2 lah.... huhu!

Hari Anugerah 2009

It's a good ending at school in 2009 for Izzaty :) She may not do well in her mid term exam.. but she strive to improve and managed to top her class again in the final... syukur alhamdulillah!. Err... sounds that easy.. but I guess... it took lots 'bebel2' from her mama and ayah as well.. keh keh!

Anyway, congratulations my girl... you made ayah and mama so proud!!! *muuahhh!!*

RECEIVING THE AWARDS...
All those awards dibagi sekali gus (jimat masa!)... satu bakul tuh!! :) Ada gak parents (probably teachers jugak) tepuk tangan when the MC announced the list of anugerah(s) that Izzaty received... syukur alhamdulillah!
Uishhh... tak de lah berat sangat bakul ni.. lol :DMe and my awards :)

ALL THE AWARDS AND CERT I RECEIVED ON THAT DAY...

Izzat is so jealous.. "TAK ACII!!! Kak Long dapat banyak hadiah!!". Well Izzat... if you want all the awards, let's study harder next year ya? You did quite well in the final... but if you try harder, insyaAllah you'll get all those awards :) And don't forget, whatever your result is... Mama and Ayah love you so much!!! *muah!* :)

Fit to Fly!

The school holiday is just around the corner and the kids (and their parents) are so looking forward to our next vacation! :)

Yesterday, we went to Kay Ell... the kids dah 'pok pek pok pek' demanding their presents for doing well in the final. I promised RM15 for each 'A' they get in the final exam and RM50 if they got Maths or Science 100% (punya lah nak bagi motivation!). But non of them got 100% in any subjects... but since Izzat got 98% in Maths and Izzaty 99%.... mama dia kata okay lah... they can get the RM50!! So ended up... Izzat got RM110 and Izzaty RM210 (She got RM100 for getting the first place in aliran).... adoii... sengkek their parents!! :P

So yesterday... early in the morning, I dragged all of them (including hubby) to a clinic behind my office to get the seasonal influenza vaccine. Doktor Syed injected all of us!! and voila.... we are now FIT-TO-FLY :) Wooohooo.... tak sabar nak fly!!!!


Then... the kids follow their ayah to the Sg Wang Plaza... Izzaty wants an MP3 for her 'hadiah'. Whilst... I chose to stay in my office... ingatkan nak buat kerja... (kerja so banyak!! cuti dah dekat ni... dateline pun dah dekat.. *sigh!*)... unfortunately, host system down pulak... darn! What a waste! Kalau tau.. baik ikut je diorang ke Sg Wang tadi!! :(

Later, hubby fetched me and we all went to Mid Valley (yeap.. my fav place.. hehe!). Plan nak ke Toys R Us to get Izzat's Nerf and eat our lunch ajer... tapi Jaya Jusco ada 15% discounts on all items!! Apa lagi.. borong pulak school uniforms and shoes for next year!!! Masa bayar kat counter.. ada lady kat belakang tu tegur we all... "eh, awal nya beli baju sekolah for next year??!" Hehehe... malu nya saya.... but well... it's November already what... kalau tak beli now.. beli next month.... takde lah early sangat kan??? :P

But the kids had fun.... puas hati lah masing2 dah dapat what they want.... and malam tadi everybody tidur lena kepenatan.. and puas hati :)

The kids' MP4 (upgrade pulak dari MP3 to MP4)... beli yang murah2 only.. coz their budget tak lah banyak sangat.. :) Izzaty got the PHILIPS brand... whilst Izzat got the made-in-China one... sibuk nak jugak sorang nih! :)

Izzat and his 'NERF' maverick Rev-6. Dia berhajat nak beli yang machine gun NERF tu... tapi after the MP4... of coz the budget sudah kurang... wakakaka! :D

Beads crazy :)

Uhuh.. I am so hooked with this new hobby at the moment.... so.. pantang free ajer (which is rare lately sebab baaaanyak sangat kerja kat office!) .....mesti nak jahit beads :) These are what I've been doing for the past few weeks! :)

Remember Danisyah's baju raya in my previous post? Well, this is the same one for Izzaty. Well, suppose to be very 'same' lor... tapi the gem stones kat tengah bunga tu tak cukup and when I checked it out kat kedai manik nearby... sudah abis stock wooo!! Nasib baik lah bunga2nya considered 'balanced'... so I let Izzaty wear first this weekend for a kenduri kawin :) Nanti stock dah ada... boleh sambung jahit.. lol!

This is my niece's kebaya... my SIL, Kak Eina asked me to jahit simple beads to make Alea's baju more glamour gitu..... huhu... budak zaman sekarang nih... glam melebihkan mak bapak! :D

And this one.... yours truly punye :) Finally!! :) Baru siap from tailor... and jahit la beads utk tambah glamour jugak... (mana boleh anak lebih glam dari mama..hik hik!). Baru sebelah tangan siap... lagi sebelah in progress.... huhu. Maklum laaa... sibuk sekarang ni.... *sigh!*

The final exam result is out!

Alhamdulillah... both kids did quite well in the exam. Izzaty managed to get the 1st place in the whole standard 4. She got highest in all the subjects except the 2 BM subjects... (duh! mama dia pun tak terror BM... how to ajar?? and her friends mostly go to tuition this year!). Way to go gal.... you make ayah and mama very proud of you again!!! *muuuuuuahhh!!*

Meanwhile, Izzat has improved quite well in the final exam. He got straight A's... alhamdulillah. All above 90 except for BM (hehe... need I say more?? he got 85 in Pemahaman and 80 in Penulisan.... phew.... nasib baik A lagi!!!!! On the dot!!!! *grin*). Anyway, I am quite happy with his result... his Maths is 98, English 90, Science 96. Was hoping he can get place on the top 10 list....... but I guess wishful thinking laaa... the kids are all very, very clever.... huhu. He got number 14 (same position as in Mid term.. tak ubah pun.. huhu)... ni baru dalam kelas. Tak sure dalam aliran nombor berapa! Tapi tak pe lah... at least his result improved.... A LOT!!! And I'm very proud of him!! :)

So Kids.... congratulations!! Next year kita cuba lagi ya??!! Love you all!!! *muuuuuahhh!!*
