Feeling blessed on my 41st birthday ♥

I feel so blessed today, on 22nd August 2011... 22nd of Ramadhan 1432H - my 41st birthday! :)

My FB wall was overwhelmed with birthday wishes from friends and family... you guys really brighten up my day! Thank you so much everyone - love you all soooo much!! ♥ ♥ ♥

It's a triple celebration for me today. It's my birthday, it's the holy month of Ramadhan which I am really enjoying right now, alhamdulillah... and lastly it is also my 'salary+one-month-bonus' day! :D Suker, suker, suker!! :) The whole maybankers were smiling happily today on my birthday! Syukur alhamdulillah.... :)

These beautiful roses and card were delievered to my office this afternoon....

But it was what printed on the card that touched me most.... Where on earth did he buy this beautiful card? I almost cried reading it... those who knew what we have gone through for the past few months would understand why I felt that way. Thank you darling for noticing.... thought you never did... huhu! L♥ve you so much!

When I came home this evening... there was a hamper waiting for me on the kitchen cabinet.

It's from my darling sister, Na :) Awww..... you are the sweetest sister ever darling! You never fail to make my birthday more special every year! L♥VE you sister! *muah!*

Izzat just stayed beside me when I opened Izzaty's present. Later he said "Maa... Izzat nak duit... Izzat nak beli present tuk Mama" :-|
Aww Izzat.... you don't have to buy anything for me sayang.... I just want you to be a good boy.. sentiasa solat, menurut perintah Allah dan meningalkan laranganNya... get good results in school... that's all I am asking darling... and that would make the BEST birthday present ever for your mommy :) I L♥ve you too darling... *muah!*

Sometimes it takes the most random of tiniest of things to make me realised how beautifully blessed my life is.

Jom kira duit raya!

Am not sure why on earth did I volunteer myself as a 'duit raya committee' representing the Auto Finance Unit at our Core Banking Section!! Terlebih rajin pulak Ramadhan ni :) Anyway, more than RM100K total of RM5 and RM10 notes were collected from the KL Main branch cashier room for the Core Banking staff.... pergh!! RM1 new notes are not available yet... staff are forced to beratur sendiri next Monday kalau nak RM1 new notes! ish ish... tak patut la Maybank ni...

Okay lah.. next year tak mau dah jadi committee :P Terketaq2 tangan kira duit and distribute to staff yang order tau! Then kena pulak duit tak balance... adoii... jenuh nak reconcile! Maklumlah... orang tak biasa pegang duit banyak gitew.... huhu!

Hmmm..... kawan2 semua dah tukar duit raya ke? ;)

Sahur @ work!

The implementation of CV07 Decommission project was scheduled today - 14/08/11. A live test was also scheduled upon the implementation of this project. Hence, those involved in this project were forced to be on 'stand by' (on-site and off-site) to ensure nothing goes wrong after the implementation. *sigh*.. it's Ramadhan.. and I would rather not to be on standby on-site! Especially if the time to be on-site is at 4am!! :( Tapi nak buat camana kan... nak cari rezeki yang halal... kena la stand-by jugak... huhu! We were to be at Maybank Auto Finance Dataran Maybank branch by 4am.... but I was 20mins late... sorry boss!! Tu pun dah speeding kat highway nak cepat tau! I brought Izzaty along to temankan mama sorang ni yang tak mau kesorangan drive pagi2 buta kat highway! :P

When I reached there, they had started the live test but were having some technical problems. My boss, Mr Z and a branch user, Mariam at the teller machine for testing.

We were so busy trying to resolve the problem... tak sedar dah pukul 5!! And we were yet to find food for bersahur!! So our product users - Mr Burn and Mr John rushed to find food while the technical team were busy trying to figure out on how to resolve the problem.

5:40am baru dapat bersahur!

Pelita Nasi Kandar nasi bungkus! No choice... most restaurants dah abis makanan by that time! huhu! Menu kami = kari + ayam goreng + kobis goreng. Dan sebungkus teh-o panas! Alhamdulillah sedap jugak lah. Dah last minute cenggini... bedal je! Kelam kabut makan you... takut tak sempat! huhu!

I don't usually eat rice for sahur... tapi pagi ni agaknya dah berjaga dari 3am... perut ni terasa lapar la pulak. Sedap je share makan ngan Izzaty :) Thanks Izzaty temankan Mama kerja on a Sunday morning... love you girl! *muah*


Our product user, Mr John ni sempat lagi merokok before imsak... ish ish... mana boleh merokok dlm office dude!


Mr Burn and Mr Halid Al-Walid (project leader) ... menung lepas kenyang... menunggu waktu Subuh pulak ;)


The IT team continue resolving the problem after sahur and Subuh prayer. Mr MNM (sitting and wearing cap) who was supposed to be on off-site stand-by was called to come on-site to assist and resolve the problem.

Alhamdulillah.... managed to resolve all the problems! It was successfully implemented! By 7:40am, we left the building :) Good job you all and thank you for cooperating to make this project a success! Malam ni stand by off site for batch jobs pulak... harap2 tak byk problems so that tak mengganggu tidor ku... huhu! Ini lah life seorang IT staff..... huk huk!

Homemade Sushi

We were at the Curve's RM5 Denso shop with the kids and Zamri today when Zamri saw the ingredients to make sushi sold at this shop. And that gave him the idea of berbuka puasa with some homemade sushi ;)

The Daiso shop at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. Everything is RM5 here! And everything is imported from Japan! The kids just love this shop! :)

Iftar with family

Yesterday was first Saturday of the holy month of Ramadhan. Since my mom and my parents-in-law are currently staying at our place, we organized an iftar family gathering at our humble place. Other than my brother and his family (who are in Kuantan visiting their eldest at MRSM Kuantan), my sister Ruby and his family (my brother in law, Zaimi is not well and my sister Ruby is taking care of him at home) my Along's 3rd son, Johan (who's now studying in MRSM Jasin), and Kak Eina's eldest son, Imran (who's currently studying in ITM Perak) everyone else from both sides of the family came! :) Sangat2 meriah... I like :)

Tetamu2 sudah datang. Bermacam2 juadah sudah siap terhidang.... tunggu azan je lagi! :D

To save time... a few mins before azan, the kids diarahkan mengisi pinggan makan masing2.. :)

Okay... dah azan.. giliran adults at the table :)

Among juadah yang tersedia: Kerabu mangga, ikan tenggiri masak cili padi, sayur campur, ikan patin masak tempoyak (brought by Along), sambal udang, Laksa Johor (thanks to our laksa chef - Dr Na!), kari dal, roti jala, ayam goreng, makaroni bakar (thanks to Along's neighbour!) dan macam2 lagi lah...

Among kuih2 yang tersedia - fruit custard and cekodok pisang, kuih tako (thanks to Adik Zali and Kak Ina!)

Ohhh... laparnya kanak2 ini selepas seharian berpuasa... :D

I dunno what time our last guests left the house coz by 11:45pm I was already on my bed... huhu! Too much excitement for the day.... huhu! Thanks to our sisters and brothers who came... :) Next year, please... someone else take over and organize okay! :)

Talk about India.... hatiku ini sudah bergelora nak ke sana!! Zamri has been there... and my SRKDian girlfriends just came back from India recently.. and I read Principle's blog on her trip to India. When I saw their pics bertambah2 gelora hati ini nak pergi.. huhu! We (yours truly and hubby, my sister Na and her hubby and Abang Y - our New Zealand trip gang!) have booked tickets to go there in March, next year. InsyaAllah, we plan to go to New Delhi, Mumbai, Kashmir and Agra... wahhh! Tak sabar nak posing depan Taj Mahal @ Agra, chilling on a boathouse @ Kashmir, shopping sarees @ Mumbai.... wahhh..... tak sabarnya!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alaa... lama nya lagi nak masuk March.... huk huk :(
