Perfume talk

Now that Izzaty is a big girl... we begin sharing some girly things like perfume, tudung, shoes, ect. Perfume ku selalunya jarang habis.... cause selalunya pakai sikit ajer kan... buat penuh syarat :) Even my CK Eternity from my hantaran kawin dolu2.. masih belum habissss.... dah tengik dah bau nya... tak hingin la I nak pakai dah bila bau dah tengik kan.. ;P But now that I am sharing with Izzaty... wah... cepat je rasa habis! I was wearing
POLO Romance
Morgan de Toi
and Emporio Amani Diamond perfumes

I especially love Morgan de Toi and Romance.... bau dia so sweet :) Diamond is just a bit strong to my taste... tapi boleh aaaa... (it was a present from dear hubby... so tak kan tak pakai kan?) Habis jugak la sebotol... hehe.

When my youngest bro in law announced his date of coming back for the summer holiday, we all pun minta tolong dia belikan perfume from UK which is much cheaper. Hubby, as always... adores PRADA perfumes. Yours truly on the other hand.. decided to 'tukar angin' and try something new. I asked around perfumes apa yang best... Someone recommended Sarah Parker's Lovely and another person recommended Nina Ricci's perfume and the list go on.... banyak nya choices!!! Tak boleh jadi nih.... kena pergi bau sendiri... then baru decide!

So one day when I was in SOGO, I tried some of the bau-bauan disana... fall in love with these 2 perfumes..
Mariah Carey's luscious pink

Coco Chanel

I finally decided to order Mariah Carey's luscious pink!! So last night... Zamri came home (dear hubby fetched him from KLIA). And yeayyyyy!!!! I got my perfume....

This morning I wear Luscious Pink to work..... and I feel gooooodddd :)

Family Day 2010

I have been wanting to update this blog for so long... but lately could not find a suitable time... or rather 'the mood' to do so :P

Last 18th July, my section group made our 2nd family day for this year (first was in Cherating which I did not go as I was in Hong Kong).... this time it was at Desa Water Park. I am one of those who always find a reason not to join the family day... hehe. Bukan tak mau pegi... tapi dear hubby yang selalu tak mau pegi... and tak syiok la pegi without him... but alhamdulillah... this year, he agreed to join :)

We sure had a BLAST!!! :)

During the Choo-choo train activity... At the beginning of this activity... semua orang excited nak join in! Even the kids! :)

Come on Izzat!!! Hop in! :) Let mama hold you!! :)

Ingatkan dekat je kena pusing.... rupanya jauh... giler penat!!! By the time we finished this game, everybody was nearly out of breath... confirmed masing2 tak fit!!! LOL :D

Muka orang keletihan.... hahaha!!

Team rumah merah! Masrul at the front macam dah tak larat tuuu... lol!

Acara for kids... catch the water balloon!! The kids semuanya sporting2 belaka.... way to go! :)

Aksi2 comel Izzat and gang from the black team trying to catch the water balloon :) I love seeing their face expression... COMEL! :)

NEXT.... acara tarik tali dalam air! Sangat fun!! Yang kelakarnya... my team yang ramai orang yang kurus2 dapat mengalahkan other team yang ramai orang yang gagah2 perkasa tu.... mula2 tu agak banggalah kan... but later bila tukar position... kalah teruk!! Then tukar position balik... menang balik!! Ohhh.. rupa2nya arus air yang membantu team at that position menang *teori kami lah!hehe!*

Special guests from Shanghai

I had such a stressful week.. so when hubby told me that a friend of ours from Shanghai, China.. Yi (remember him from my previous post? Click here and here), is in Malaysia and would like to have dinner with us... I delightedly agreed! :) Well, dinner is a bit inconvenient for us as our house is miles away from KL... so we agreed on lunch instead :)

The plan was to have lunch at Papa Rich in The Garden, Mid Valley on Saturday. Yi was in Malaysia with his mom, aunt, cousin, girl friend and a friend. Since he is not familiar on how to go MV... hubby dropped kids and myself first in MV.. then go and fetch them at KL Sentral. So while waiting, the kids and I melepak2 at this area...
I guess... I am a true blue Maybanker after all... bangga giler nampak booth Maybank kat MV =)

Lunch was greeaatttt!!! It has been about a year since we last met Yi. He looked slightly thinner than before... and he commented that my kids looked a lot bigger than the last time he met them :) And I was soooo impressed to see how young his mom look!! wow!!! =) Her mom kept thanking us for taking care of Yi when he was not well during his previous stay in Malaysia... She even brought some souvenirs for us from China... Awww.... so sweet.... =) Well, actually she (and the rest) could not converse in English very well, so Yi had to translate it for her... isn't that sweet? ;) Yi has just graduated and will start working with his government soon. Wahh... congrats Yi!! We are so proud of you!! :)

Jom layan gambar.... =)

Papa Rich @ The Garden, Mid Valley - one of our fav kopitiam :)

Our special guest of the day - Yi and his gf, Yu (Yi and Yu... it does sound rhyme kan?? *wink*)

Happy meeting Yi and his cronies! They were busy browsing on the menu. Thank god they have Chinese characters written on the menu!! Or I would have a difficult time translating them :D

My fav drink whenever I go to Papa Rich - the hot honey + lemon drink :)

I chose to eat this - can't exactly remember the name in the menu... not bad laa.. but sedikit tawar for my taste.. after adding sedikit kicap plus extra cili padi baru okay :)

Yi's mom in green (so young-looking eh??) and aunt (wearing glasses). And the other guy is Yi's cousin. They love the food!! They especially enjoyed the ABC with durian ice-cream on top. Yi said he loves durian!! Ehh?? That was a surprise!! :)

The cute couple - Yi and Yu... Yi suggested Yu to taste the nasi lemak. I was afraid if she could not stand the spicy rendang.. but hey... she said she love it! Hope she told me the truth.. and not covering up just to jaga my hati.. hehee..

Our guest definately enjoyed our Malaysian food! From right : Yu's best friend (can't remember her name, sorry dear!), Yi's mom and Yi's aunt.

They ordered this kuih..... apa ke nama kuih ni, saya tak pasti! huhuhu...

This one I know... the otak2! They love this!!! Especially Yi...

Hubby and Yi... ada macam adik beradik tak?? ;) And notice the ABC with durian ice-cream infront of Yi? Oh boy... he loves it a lot! I tell you!

Everyone in this pic - from left : Yi's aunt, Yi's mom, Yu's bf, Yu, Yi, Hubby, izzaty, yours truly, izzat and Yi's cousin :) Emm.. notice I can't get the others' names?? I know.. I know.. I am bad... :( But I got confused remembering their Chinese names.. *sorry*

Yours truly berposing with Yi's mom and aunt. They are such a lovely bunch!! :)

Yi and Izzat... They used to play Nintendo together when Yi stayed with us last year :)

Posing lagi! Yi, hubby and the kids.. :)

Last post before they left Mid Valley. They wanted to see Dataran Merdeka after lunch.. so hubby sent them there while yours truly and kids merayap lagi sekitar Mid Valley :)

Among the presents we got from Yi and his mom are these lovely items...
A cute clay tea pot (we love it Yi.. thank you soooo much!!!), and 2 tins of chinese tea. Yi knows that both of us just LOVE chinese tea!!! Awww.... thank you soooo much Yi for the thoughts!!!! We really, really appreciate it!!! =)

And this beautiful silk nightgown... is from Yi's mom for yours truly. Wow... it is soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! I simply LOOOOVE it!!! Thank you so much dearie!!! *Hugs*.

It was such a pleasure meeting them! We had such a great time, really! Too bad they could not stay at our place as they will be leaving for Redang Island soon and later to Jogjakarta to see the Borobodur. Well, till we meet again.... may be we would visit you all in Shanghai one day... insyaAllah... :)
