Petaling Street mali... :P

Somebody has been bugging me to go to Petaling Street for months! Asal balik asrama jer, ajak ke PS! Nak cari fake jersey katanya! :P Last night, after my date with Ila, I went to Puduraya Sentral to wait for my Northern Boy who was taking a bus from Parit Buntar to KL for his school holiday. His bus reached Puduraya at around 9:30pm... And the minute he saw me, his first question was 'Boleh tak Ma pegi Petaling Street?' Pfftt... Mama dah penat okay. My carpark will be closed at 10pm... No time okay! Jom balik :P

So this eve, Mr Hubby and I decided to bring him to Petaling Street. Saja la pun... Bosan2 dok rumah... Huhu

The boy who realy loves feasting his eyes at Petaling Street ;))

Okay, let's see what they have in PS that eve...

Gucci handbags anyone?

Branded shoes...

Izzat feeling indecisive on which jerseys to buy... Hehe :D
Why he wanted to buy fake jerseys? Because ayah and mama do not allow him to bring his original jerseys to asrama... takut hilang! Mahal what those ori jerseys! huhu...
So, since nak jugak bergaya pakai sport jerseys.... nak bawak  yang fake ones to asrama! :D

KL tshirt? Of coz got!!! ;)) Semua adaa here in PS ;))

LV or Prada? Pick your fave... ;))

More baranded handbags... But of course all are fakes. The price? Not sure... tak tanya pulak tadi... huhu!

I love looking at the colourful tshirts sold here...
Six pack coming soon?!  Hamboiii! LOL! :D

Buying fresh fruits. This fruit stall is quite famous here in PS.

Dinner at Nando's before going home...

By the time we left PS, it's already past 7pm. Penat... But seeing my boy's happy face, priceless!! :) Alhamdulillah ;)
See you later Petaling Street. InsyaAllah, we'll come again soon. Izzat will definitely miss you... Haha!

Long lost cousin ;))

I haven't met this cousin of mine for years!!! Probably more than 10 years! Fazlina is my cousin from my mom's side. Her mom is my mom's step-sister. She lives in PJ jer... not that far right? But somehow, kami jarang dapat berjumpa! Lina works with Maybank PJ branch and today, she is in Menara Maybank for a meeting. Alhamdulilllah, we were given the opportunity to rekindle our silaturahim  during lunch today ;)
Love you cousin! ;))

P/S: Lina is also the daughter-in-law of Kak Ah aka Tan Sri Rafiah Salim, our TKC OGA president ;)) So yeah, I meet her mom-in-law more often than meeting her - LoL! :D

Fabulous time with Fabulous friends ;)

I haven't met my SRKDIan bffs for months! Really, really miss them! So when Ana suggested we come to her place for a small gathering on Wesak day... Yehaaa... Everyone was pretty excited!!! ;))

Well, being the lazy me, I just ordered these delicious cupcakes from babycuppiecake for this event. Do not want to come empty handed eh ;)
So yummeh! Thanks Baby for again entertaining my last minute request :D The gals love your cake!! ;))

I was the first to arrive at Ana's place.... Hehee, quoting my daughter's expression 'mangat sungguh!' :D I am sooo glad that I arrived early.. Ana's place is awesome!!! Cantek banget!! Zai, Mimi and Aton arrived about 10mins later. And yeah... The havoc began... LoL :D
Man... We have lotsss to catch up! Belum masuk pintu rumah Ana dah kecoh :D

Then Zita arrived with Zana... Double havoc... LoL :D

Then the food was served... Goshh, just look at the food guys...
All homemade food!

The first food that I attacked...
Kuih cucur... Homemade by Ana's mom. Ahhhh.. This kuih brings lots of memories of my childhood. My dad used to buy this at his hometown, Kg Talang on Sunday morning. I took pic of the kuih and wassap it to my sisters - and they droolled over it... LoL ;D Told ya... Nostalgia tul kuih ni hehee. Al Fatihah to my arwah ayah... The kuih really bring back sweet memories of him...

Another kuih yg nostalgia...
Kuih sepang! Another kuih that my dad used to buy for us from Kg. Talang's Sunday Market or Kuala Pilah's Pasar Malam ;D I don't fancy sweet delicacies... so this kuih is not really my favourite. But THIS particular kuih that is made by Ana's mom... is really, really delicious! Like seriously!! :)'

In fact, all the food was delicious! BIG TIME! Got laksa, roti jala, oleo (homemade by Zita), tahu rose (this one is so nice!), nestum cheese (homemade by Atun) and of course  the cupcake that I brought ;) God, I forgot about my diet! :P

Somebody arrived really late. Nasib baik food tak habis lagi tau!
Ijah, the late comer yg comel... Lambat sbb make up lama haha!

Us - minus Sister Jade - The only person who could not make it. We miss you Jedah!!

Last but not least, our dessert...
Homemade tapai with vanilla ice-cream. Insanely delicious, I tell you!!! Ana's mom's tapai is really something! :)'

Oh what fun we had! Gelak x hingat dunia! Of course we communicated in nogoghi slang... Afterall, we were all proud to be anak nogoghi kan ;) But really, these gals are more advanced than me. I don't get some of their vocabs... Too authentic kot...  and they had fun kutuk-ing me for being the Pilah city gal for not understanding their 'advanced' vocab... Very funny you ouls! City la sangat Pilah tuuu :P

See the happy faces of ours ;))

Lepas kenyang makan2, sambung cerita @ Ana's living hall pulak.
Candid by Ijah... Love you gf!! ❤

Everyone got this Beijing souvenir from Dr Zai.. Thank you Zai... XOX! ❤

As I said, Ana's house is soooo awesome!!
Got the chance to do a private tour around Ana's place... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your place Ana! Jangan la serik... Nanti invite lagi ya... Heeee ;))

Left Ana's place around 7pm. Siap tapau lagi heee, melampau sungguh kan? ;)'

Thank you so much Ana for having us at your lovely home. Layanan tip top! First class lagi! I had a blast with the girls. It was really nice catching up with you gals in person rather than in wassap jer kan ;))

Hope to have more gathering in the future gals!! xox!

Circle of sisterhood

For the past few years, I always look forward to 1st May. It's a public holiday. And on top of that, it's OGA Day!! ;)) The day when the TKC Old Girls do their annual visit to their old school :))

This year, I thought of skipping this event as I was invited by an old fren for a makan-makan on the same day but my daughter insisted that I must come :P Pffttt, padahal baru je jumpa like a few days ago at Royale Chulan Hotel :P  Luckily the makan2 was cancelled, so okay laa... Can join the OGA day ;)

And baru jer plan nak pergi santai2/relax for OGA Day this year.... bu when I attended the Hi-tea at Royale Chulan Hotel, I was approached by Germ and Kak Aleen - 2 org kuat OGA committees, to help out with the kakak2 MGC (the old name of TKC - Malay Girls College) breakfast and lunch on the OGA day. Erkk... How la to say no... Afterall, they gave me a seat at the OGA table for the hi-tea kan? Hahaa... So okay laa. I agreed to help ;))

Reached Bandar Enstek around 8:05am. Masuk jer hall, disambut oleh anakanda kesayangan ;)) Went to the registration counter to meet Germ and register myself :) And report duty to the committee :P

With the 'orang kuat OGA' - Kak Aleen and Germ. I came wearing my normal cloth.. But later was talked into buying the OGA white shirt and changed into it ;)

I oso got this exclusive membership card on that day... cool eh? ;)

After changing into the 'white OGA uniform' I got myself busy helping the committees.

The MGC kakak2 were brought to TKC by the college bus. They were welcomed by their buddies (the college girls)who accompanied   them to go around college.

Izzaty literally kidnapped my handphone, so I wasn't able to take pictures of the MGC kakak2 during breakfast or lunch -_-

On the other hand, Izzaty had fun 'selfie-ing' with her friends ;))

There are lots of activities going on...
Gerai2 on sales, car wash by the girls, house tents deco competition, hunger game, cheering competition, ect, ect... memang meriah!
The booths that sold many interesting items, souvenirs,  yummy cookies and food, tudungs, clothes, medical check-up booth, ect, ect. Profits from the day is channeled to TKC students, such as for the projek khas girls, school magazine (Saujana), basketball team etc.

Car wash girls ;))

This cendol songkok tinggi is very yummy!!!

Bonda at the selendang delima tent... The winner of the tent deco competition.

This is Izzaty's friend, whose name is also  Izzati - Izzati Rosli who did button badge at the Asterix (3rd formers) booth. Good job u all!! ;))
The Asterix girls busy at their booth. They also sell Victoria Secret perfumes at a very cheap price.

Met my junior, Farha Hanina on that day. Sorry darling I didn't recognise u at first.. huhu... I tau I mmg la blur -_-

Just like previous years, of course there were stage shows in the grand hall :)) And like previous years, the function started off with singing the Negaraku song and followed by our beloved Kolej song. Then, there was bacaan doa by TKC ustaz, speeches by Bonda pengetua and OGA president. This was then followed by signing of MOU between Touch&Go and TKC. Later, the launching of the OGA card (the one that I got above) then only the stage show begins...

Interesting performances by the old girls! I especially like the SPM83 girls performance! Good job Kak Roa, Kak Nina and the gang!! *no picture lah.. camera kidnapped by my girl :P *
Datin Puziah, leading the MCE kakak2 singing 60s songs... A handsome uncle playing a keyboard for them... Awesome!! Love all the songs they sang! Reminded me of my music class during my TKC days with Ms Chin, our music teacher. I sure love my music class back then! :D

Suddenly there was a man in yellow shirt joining them dancing on the stage. And the crowd in the hall went crazy!! I was like who the hell is that guy?? Hehe.. Teruk betul... What dya know... the famous Dato' Rosyam Nor is in da house  :))

Oh my... The minute he came down the stage... Not only the girls... but the makcik2 also serbu rebut to take pictures with him... LoL! Me?? Nahh... Not a big big fan of his. My daughter is not a big fan oso, butttt...
Sungguh over kan??? ish ish ish... -_-

The TKC8387 girls who came - Deme (in pink kurung), yours truly, Lady Has and Wewe (minus Germ and Fa - the ever busy committee members yang tengah sibuk bertugas - no time to take pics huhu). Not many people turned up this year. May be they feel that Bandar Enstek is not their old school.. They have no memory here... So kurang la minat nak datang kan... I guess I feel them. I would probably feel the same way if I have no daughter in the new school -_-

I was called at the Pengetua room after lunch for a short discussion with Bonda Pengetua and Encik Rajab, our Wind Orchestra instructor on band camp that would be held during the coming school holiday. Kak Hekmat wanted me to represent the WO parents. Bonda said her teachers would be very busy during the school holiday and no teachers would be able to be on duty as warden to take care of the girls during band camp. My job is to gather some parents who are willing to volunteer to be a temporary warden during the band camp. They also discussed on the new dress for the WO finale. Interesting conversations we had on the school WO politics -_-

After lunch, the hunger game competition started. And guess who was there to guide the girls to cook?
The handsome Chef Nik Micheal Imran ;)) Man... He is handsome!! And memang laaaaaa the girls went googoogaga!!! LoL! :D

Those girls wearing apron were Siti Zawiah's (yellow house) Chef for the day ;)

Judged by Kak Ah and Kak Yam - the OGA president and her vice.

Next, cheering competition. I took video of them doing the cheering... Unfortunately no pics taken :((

These are the pics of the SZ girls before and after the cheering thingy..
Love, love, love to see those happy faces!

I thought Siti Zawiah girls did great. But they lost ;((
Last place for house deco (this one is expected. Why la you yellow girls did not ask help from this old yellow house girl??:P) Selendang Delima champed this competition.

Oso last place for the cheering competition. Grrrr... Not fair!!! I thought they did great!!! Judge bias!!!:P huhuu. Mahsuri won the first place.

Luckily they won 2nd place in the Hunger Game (cooking competition). Good job u all!!! Again, Selendang Delima won the first place.

It's okay! it's all right! Come one Yellow fight! fight! fight! We can do better next time girls! Go go Siti Zawiah!!

The girls sure had a blast :D Some of the girls told me 'It was the BEST OGA DAY ever!' And I had to agree with them ;)) It was indeed a day that was full with interesting activities. Got special appearance of 2 celebrities some more! Memang la seronok diorang kan? ;))

Went home after solat Asar and by the time I left TKC, it was already 5:30pm. Reached home before 7pm... Dead tired, albeit very happy and contented :) Nasib baik dapat bangun pergi kerja the next day without any hassle! And today... Baru la rasa sakit satu badan... Huhuhu.

Alhamdulillah. Another wonderful day with old friends and my daughter ❤ I am so blessed to be in this circle of wonderful sisterhood
