Exactly a month ago, I attended SBP Wind Orchestra Competition which was held in Dectar, UKM.
Weeks before flying to Japan, yours truly and a few other TKWO booster parents were busy making sure our girls had everything for this competition. Had to tambah some more jubah (we discussed about making new blouse for the girls but due to lack of funding, we decided to stick to the old jubah instead. Just tambah and repair whatever needed). So trip to jackel and all was done by Ha and yours truly and later our usual tailor had to bertungkus lumus siapkan baju2 tu within less than 2 weeks 😬😬
About a few days before the competition, arrangment on food and all was set. Alhamdulillah, ada parents yg bermurah hati sponsored lunch, cream puffs and all... Murah rezeki anak2 ni.
Dengan kerjasama semua, alhamdulillah, semuanya dipermudahkan.
So on 4th of August, I took annual leaves again (after coming back from Japan), especially to support our TKWO girls!! My girl and the Asterix girls would be performing for TKWO for the last time... And this is probably my last contributions as TKWO booster parents committee.

Left Bkt Beruntung after Subuh and reached UKM so early in thr morning haha! Nak avoid jam punya pasal 😅 Anyway, TKC bus was late that morning and I had to handle the lorry that reached earlier to deliver the girls' instruments. (We had difficulties finding a lorry at a very last minute... Thanks to Kak Huda... Our superwoman who managed to get one and arranged everything last night! (Yes, that last minute!!) Our supermom Kak Huda can never say NO to our Asterix girls ... And Asterix mommies mmg awesome!! 😍❤️)
A few busses had already arrived but TKC bus is nowhere to be seen 😁

The lorry was here first. So yours truly and a few other moms helped monitoring the instruments.
Our bus was finally here a few mins later!
Our conductress got injured during one of her ice-skating practices and got her leg casted. But life goes on... She had practiced hard for this competition and would still be conducting TKWO. Love your spirit Nathra!!! 💝

It was't their best performance but they did great!!
Their version of 'The Star of Dream' was beautifully played! And their 'Merong Mahawangsa' is simply beautiful! They made all of us sooo proud with this performance ❤️
And most of all, I felt so proud with our conductress, Nathra who managed to stand the whole performance despite her condition...
Super proud moment - I feel like crying when I see Nathra's face. She was obviously tired and in pain but demi semangat juang Kurshiah, she stand tall and fight!

The girls cried...
It broke our hearts to see them cry...
But hey, we are Kurshiah girls! You did great and we are super proud of you! You have gone through a lot before you reached this level! You have tried your very best and managed to bring back the glory of TKWO. Well, we didn't make it to the final... But I am sure TKWO will continue this journey and reach to the top one day 💪🏻💪🏻
Luckily, we decided to order pizza before the result was out. The pizza was for the girls to celebrate if they make it to the final and if not (which is the case now 😜), to pujuk them 😅

Our Miss TKWO president, Sarah cried a bit. Snapped this pic and shared it with her mom, Dr Fatimah who could not make it to see her kids beraksi (her son is in MCKK WO). Let Sarah used my phone to talk to her mom to make her feel better. She was upset for not making it to the final whilst her brother did 😬

Well, it's a wrap.
Asterix girls are saying goodbye to TKWO.
Yours truly is also saying goodbye to TKWO parents booster committees.
It has been a pleasure working with all of you as we navigated both the good tines and the more challenging times 😅
Am definitely gonna miss all of you 😭
But will definitely continue supporting TKWO 💪🏻
