Saying good bye to Hokkaido - Day5 pt 6 and Day 6

That.night, we decided to jalan2 cari makan and souvenies in Sapporo city.

Our first stop is a shop that sells branded item. Soneone cannot sleep selagi x dapat jam idaman πŸ˜…

Abang Yusof and Mr Hubby busy feasting their eyes with those branded watches sold here.

There are also other branded items like wallets and handbags... But Na and I were not interested as those are not in our priority list at the moment 😬

Somebody decided to tapau one watch! 😱

Hebat kan Abang Y ni? πŸ˜‰
He's still available ladies!! Woot Woot!! 😜

A pic with the shop assistants before leaving the shop.

Next, we need to find a halal restaurant. We were super hungry as all we ate for lunch was cakes and ice-creams in Otaro 😬
With the help of Mr Waze, we finally found the restaurant we were looking for....

Halal Yakiniku Restaurant

The menu
We ordered these...

The food were good! Yummilicious! Highly recommended for muslim who visit Hokkaido πŸ‘πŸ˜‹

After a very satisfying dinner, we crossed the toad over to this supermarket which is located just in front of the restaurant.

Bought some wasabi nuts for my colleagues.

Next day, we left for airport as early as 6am.
Hubby drove to the airport first where Na and yours truly are left there to take care of our bags while the gentlemen go to return our rented car to the car rental office.

As it was still early, we decided to explore the new airport of Sapporo. It's nice!!! With lots of shops to feast our eyes! πŸ˜„

Bought a Hokkaido Starbuck tumbler for my Along (as usual dia kirim hehe).

I love seeing all the fruits and flowers sold here in Hokkaido... Looks fresh and deli!!
'Suika' means watermelon in Japan (this I still remember from my tkc life as I have a friend named 'Suhita'... That's how I memorised the word. Lol! πŸ˜‚
We bought some fresh white corns home... Saja nak kasi our family members to taste it πŸ˜„

We also bought some scallop home...

Jenuh bawa scallops ni. Siap kena tahan kat immigration as we were not allowed to hand-carry it... So had to send it for check-in... Phew! Tak per lah, janji dpt bawa balik πŸ˜…

Queuing for boarding...
Bye bye Sapporo... πŸ‘‹πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Otaru - Hokkaido Day5 pt4

Otaru is a small harbour city in Hokkaido with beauuutiful preserved canals that reminds me of
Venice 😍

This beautiful canal is the main landmark of Otaru.
So this place deserve a selfie πŸ˜„

Otaru Information Centre near the canal where we get the Otaru map.

Excited to explore Otaru sis?

First thing first. We were all hungry... So time to find some halal food for lunch...
We tried to follow the recommended walkway suggested in the map provided by the Otaru Tourist Centre

There are lots of tiny glasses hanging here in Otaru like thesw ones. Like Venice, Otaru is also famous in glass making.

The we continued exploring Otaru while searching for halal food that we can eat...

This place is called Sakaimashi Shopping Street where tourists shop for food and beverages...

Shopping for dry squids just like those we bought in Pangkor πŸ˜„... But this one is made in Japan πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

After walking and walking...  and our stomachs had already making funny noises haha... we later decided to stop at a bakery shop that sell delicious yummy cakes! Well, the cakes looked delicious and there were lotsa people in the shop... So we assumed their cakes must be yummy! The shop is called La TAO.
Apparently, this confectionery shop is sooo famous in Hokkaido 😘
#whateverthatmeans πŸ˜„

Just look at those cakes sold in LeTAO

We chose to buy these...
Manggo cheesecake - I ❤️ manggo 😍

This is LeTAO signature - Double fromage cheesecake - super dupper yummy soft creamy cake that melt in youe mouth!! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
No wonder my friend, Zurrina said  'don't forget to eat the Hokkaido cheesecake!'

We also ordered chocolate crepes...

These yummy sweet food were all we eat for lunch 😬
Okay laaa... Buat alas perut 😬

Now, let's continue our journey exploring Otaru...

Ice-creams are so famous in Hokkaido!

The others decided to stop by to this shop for ice-cream... but yours truly had had enough sugar for the day 😬

There are all kind of ice-creams here...
Care for squid ice-cream anyone? πŸ˜…

They enjoyed the ice-creams eh?

Back to Sapporo where we checked-in into Apo Hotel for tonight...
Cozy room

We got ourselves freshen up, solat and get ready foe our next outing exploring the Sapporo town.
