My 40th birthday gift (belated)

Hubby came back from Japan and he bought this for my belated 40th birthday....

I LOVE it sooo much darling!! The leather is so soft!! Hmm.... pasni berangan nak cari a matching coach wallet la pulak! :) Farina darling... if you're reading this... can I order one matching coach wallet from you?? ;)

To my darling husband, thank you sooo much for everything!! With or without the coach handbag... I honestly love you with all my heart! *muah!*

One blackout night in Lucky Hill

On my way back form the office yesterday... it was drizzling. I thought Lucky Hill looked like Batman's Gotham City... so dark and gloomy! Only when I reached at my housing area I realised... ohhhh... blackout rupanya!!! The whole area was blackout! Urghh... no wonder so dark!!

Upon reaching home sweet home... the house was so quiet. Tiada kedengaran Izzaty's favorite sinetron "Kisah Cinta Kirana" on TV :D Huhu... sure dia frust tak dapat tenguk sinetron tu! :D We had a 'candlelight' dinner... awesome! But ohh.... did I tell you... hubby is in Japan... so I guess the candlelight dinner was not as romantic as expected :P About 8pm... the light came alive in Lucky Hill... but NOT in our house. How come??? Rumah kami aje yang gelap! :P I called TNB hotline... and the lady said 'pasukan kami akan datang sebentar lagi'. Tapi sampai ke sudah tak de sape pun datang!! And this morning.... terpaksalah bersiap dalam gelap! Izzaty was very upset this morning cause she was not able to do her KT assignment last night (she needs to find some info via the internet... tapi dah letrik takdak.. how lor?? Hope dia tak kena marah ngan teacher today! Sian anak aku... huhu!) And the kids were not able to do their KUMON homework last night. Ishh... ni yang nak marah TNB nih!! :P

Aduhai.... masa hubby takde ni lah macam2 jadi!

Not to forget workloads in the office are making me nuts!! eGL project phase 2 implementation is postponed to 1st November (urgh.. meaning more testing need to be done... ciss! I hate :P). I have another project in UAT stage and 2 more projects in queues... Never ending story.... :P

I miss my hubby *sigh!* :(

But tonight he'll be home...... yippie! :) Well, at least that cheers up my day ;)

Cerita bas lagi..

Remember my bus story (click here!)? Well… A week before Syawal, the Starcoach bus suddenly dissapear… poof!!! Just like that!!

What really happened... I dunno…. And I don't want to know! :P But now that the bus has 'dissappered'… all their 'loyal' customers had no choice but to use TM bus. Haaaa yang ni la yang kami malas nak layan nih. If you read my previous 'Cerita Bas', then you would understand why. Kalau dulu diorang macam bengang kami naik bas diorang... now ni, boleh tak kalau kami nak bengang jugak sebab diorang 'memenuhkan' bas kami??? *sigh*.

Dulu kami tak perlu berebut naik bas.... but now.... rasa malu tenguk mak-mak, bapak-bapak orang ni berebut naik bas. Kalau tak rebut, tak dapat seat :( Ada yang terpaksa duduk kat tangga bas…. Sedih betul… and sad to see most yang dok kat tangga tu adalah loyal customer TM dari dulu :(

Tapi yang paling kami tak puas hati nih... … ada la pasangan husband and wife ni… macam Yang-Dipertuan-Agung betul!! Dia boleh instruct driver bus TM datang ke depan Mydin Sinarkota, just to fetch her husband and the rest of the x-Starcoach customer (Starcoach bas mmg based kat depan Mydin tu). So by the time the bus reached infront of the Kotaraya.. where I dan kawan2 ku yang lain setia menunggu bas selama ini.... seats dah tinggal sikit... and some of us tak dapat duduk :P Kecewa sungguh dengan TM Bus mangement... tak pandai jaga hati loyal customers dia :(

My bus buddy, Lady Bee called the management and bark to them! Ingatkan the next day bas tu tak singgah la kat Mydin lagi... tapi nope... masih lagi singgah... and guess what?? Just to fetch that lady (yeap.. just she alone! Apparently she called one of the bus drivers to instruct him to fetch her kat depan Mydin tu). Lagi menyakitkan hati is the fact that hubby dia and the rest of the x-Starcoach custumers ada je tunggu sama ngan we all kat depan Kotaraya tu... kenapa dia kena tunggu kat depan Mydin tu sorang2?? Mydin Sinarkota and Kotaraya tu kan dekat ajer???? Obviously she wanted to secure seats for herself and her hubby! So selfish of her! So again.. kami yang setia tunggu kat depan Kotaraya tu kecewa sebab dianak-tirikan oleh TM Bus management! :P Special dan power sangatkan lady ini sampai dapat special treatment, I wonder!

Again... Lady Bee called to bark at the management! And yesterday, alhamdulillah... bas tak singgah Mydin dah... straight to depan Kotaraya... dan berebut2 lah mak2 dan bapak2 orang nak masuk bas to secure our seats.... huhu! Alhamdulillah.. petang semalam bas dah banyak... 5.30pm ada bas.. and 6.00pm another bus... so boleh cukup lah seat semalam.... (psttt.... yang dipertuan-Agung dah siap ada dlm bas tu... so I guess dia naik bas kat either Hang Tuah bus terminal or kat Swiss Garden - 2 terminals where the TM buses stop to pick up their customers before stop depan Kotaraya).

Today... we are yet to know! Lady Bee and I decided to walk from Menara Maybank to Swiss Garden Hotel... (near the Hang Tuah terminal). Sedikit jauh... tapi kami nekad! Just to secure seats for both of us :) Lagipun kami tak kuasa nak berebut2 naik bas.... huhu! Well, at least we play fair and square kan?? :)

Our 13th Anniversary :)

Happy 13th Anniversary my darling hubby. Let this date don’t stop us from enjoying life and every single day of it! LoVe YoU Sooooooooooo mUch!! *muah!!*

Childhood friends

I still remember most (well, not all... huhu!) of my childhood friends. Of course there are lots of them.... after all, I went to 3 schools during my primary school years - SK Serting Hilir, SK Batu Kikir and lastly SRK Dato' Idris. My parents were teachers you see... sebab tu la asyik tukar2 sekolah aje ikut di mana mereka mengajar :D It is easy to find friends, but very difficult to maintain their friendship for a long time. The truth is... after I left primary school... I lost contact with most of my childhood friends (except some)! Some of us went to boarding schools... (SBP, Sekolah Menengah Agama or 'Rancangan Khas' schools) and some went to nearby secondary schools... sibuk menuntut ilmu lah konon at that age :) Zaman tu mana lah ada teknologi komunikasi yang canggih ni to keep in touch. Jangan kan handphone... fixed line phone pun belum tentu ada kat rumah kami di kampung tu :D Kalau rajin... boleh la manually write a letter dan menggunakan khidmat servis POS Malaysia! :D

But nowadays, alhamdulillah... thanks to emails, FB and latest communication technology... I am now connected with my childhood friends again!! :) My old friends, cousins, neighbours, ect, ect... tersambung dan eratlah kembali hubungan silaturahim kami ini :) The beauty of modern technology kan? :) I like!! :)

On the Malaysia Day last Thursday, I went to Zita's house. Zita and I have been friends for 30 good years! :) There was a small gathering at Zita's house and among those who came were my SRKDian friends - Jam, Mas, Zana, Mimi and Jedah. Not to forget special appearance (chewah!) by a long-distance-cousin of mine, Shida :) Shida had been in Brunei for the past few years and just transfered to Kuala Pilah a few months back. We basically grew up together during our childhood years as her mom's house in Kuala Pilah are just 'sepelaung' away from my kampung house :) Been a long, long time since I last met her. Ahhh.... hilang rindu dapat jumpa balik!! ;)

Hari Raya 2010

Selamat Hari Raya everyone!! We had a blast this raya, alhamdulillah! 1st Syawal, kami di rumah sendiri beraya bersama Bonda Hajjah Rabtah yang tercinta! :) Late evening, around 6pm, we left for Merlimau, Melaka... untuk beraya bersama Ayahanda Haji Hussin dan Bonda Hajjah Fatimah yang tercinta :) On 4th raya, balik ke kampungku, Kuala Pilah untuk beraya dengan pakcik2 and makcik2 yang dirindui... ahhh... I miss Kuala Pilah.... dah berzaman rasanya tak balik kampung :P By that night, kami dah balik ke KL... Dearest Hubby bertolak ke Kota Kinabalu on 5th raya.. nak mendaki Gunung Kinabalu pulak di hari Lebaran... ish ish ish...

Am yet to cover all rumah sedara mara di KL... cuma sempat visit my PakLong di Kepong and My Mak Ngah di Paya Jaras. Untuk Pak Itam and Achik... tunggu ya kedatangan kami... insyaAllah weekend ni sampai la kami! :)

For the love of books

I was on my way home in my bus last Friday eve when I noticed a missed-call from one of the eGL team leaders. Apparently there were data from 2 dates that were due by Saturday eve. Alamak.... dah petang baru mau habaq ka??? :P So that meant I had no choice but to come to work on Saturday.

It took only a few mins for me to prepare the data... so what shall we do next?? Alang2 dah sampai KL... mesti lah nak buat plan lain kan... to make it worth the trip!! Kebetulan hubby read somewhere that there is a Book Fair going on at the KL Convention Center... so itu lah plan kami seterusnya!! :) Hubby dropped me at my office first that morning. Izzaty followed her dad whilst Izzat followed me to the office. An hour later... both Izzat and I left Menara Maybank and walked to the Masjid Jamek Station... singgah dulu kat Wisma Yakin to get Izzat's songkok raya :) Then naik lrt to KLCC :) Kesian Izzat... dah la demam on the previous day... kena lak ikut mama jalan jauh.... just to go to the Book Fest...

The Book Fest was fantastic! Lots of books with good price!! Macam nak beli lotsa bookssss!!! But I had to admit... lately, takde masa lah nak membaca nih... Kalau dulu boleh la membaca dlm kereta, bus or train... but nowadays, I found myself selalu fening kalau baca buku dlm bus... *sigh!*. I ended up buying only 2 books for myself....

Sophie Kinsella's latest book - Mini Shopaholic at the price of RM49.90 (Original price is RM69.90) and Tony Parson's Starting Over (buy 1 free one offer at the price of RM39.90. The free book was Hubby's choice of book.

And lastly... we bought these English IDIOM books for reference purposes (I always want to know english idioms! And the kids would be able to use the books as well for their future reference). We also bought those punches for scrapbooking fun... (Izzaty and I both love scrapbooking! It's fun!!)


Kalau ikut hati... memang nak beli banyak. So many interesting books! Izzaty wanted to choose more books to read during the school holiday... but told her to get only 2 since budget raya mama ngan ayah limited... huhu :P

All in all... we spent RM268.15 for all those books and punches. Plus dapat buku resepi free (worth for RM29.90!). I thought that was very good bargain! Imagine... usually if we buy a travel book (Lonely planet, eyewitness, ect!)... satu buku je dah more than RM100!! Ni kami beli lotssss of books (with 3 travel books) for that price! Puas hati la babe... :)
