♥ Early birthday presents ♥

The kids are celebrating their birthday soon.

Izzat will be 11 on 1st Jan.

Izzaty will be 14 on 8th Jan.

Oh... sungguh cepat mereka membesar.... -_-

I asked them what they want for birthday present... and they requested for an mp3 walkman. Well... actually Izzat wanted an iPod Touch.... The latest one. The kaler2 one! Ek eh... banyak cantik!! Kenot!! :P You give me straight As in UPSR next year then only we can discuss on this iPod Touch request :P

Anyway, it's between Apple's iPod Shuffle or Sony MP3-Walkman... price about the same. (Cannot buy expensive presents la... the price would be times two, you know.... huhu! :P) And I told them that both have to decide on the same product... kenot lain2! Else.... I don't want to buy any present... boleh?! hehe... and for some reasons, they chose Sony MP3-Walkman :)

I decided to buy the present earlier so that they can download their fave songs before the new year... and Izzaty especially can bring the walkman with her to her boarding school. Luckily this is not 'barang haram' in TKC... so legal lah nak bawak masuk sekolah :)

And hey...we did not expect this but there was a good offer at SONY Center @ The Garden! Buy first item for RM159 and you can get 2nd item for only RM99. Alhamdulillah... rezeki anak2 :)

I hope you love the presents darlings..... and do take good care of the MP3 walkman! 

To Izzat.... if you don't give me good result in any tests (not exam... test okay!) next year... mama tarik balik walkman tu!! I meant it!! :P

Worried Sick...

I haven’t been feeling well since yesterday.... huk! I think it’s something to do with sinuses. My back and shoulders are sore and my head has been killing me! It makes it next to impossible to sleep :(( It began with Mr Hubby... then berjangkit to the kids and me. Got one day MC - thank you Dr Na! Love you... *muuahh!!*

Today, back to work! Physically I am here... but mentally, I am worried sick of my 2 kids at home who're sick with high temperature, runny nose and bad cough. Just the 2 of them looking after each other... Poor kids... :((

Oh yes.... as an Old Girl, I was a bit sceptical with the idea of TKC moving to Bandar Enstek... :(( Like I said in my previous post... the new TKC may be bigger and grand... but the small Bukit Merbah school will remains in our heart forever...

But hey... let's move on! Life goes on :) Moving forward, I hope the new TKC- with bigger compound and more canggih and better facilities, will give more benefits to the students. And I hope the new generations of Kurshian @ Bandar Enstek will continue keeping TKC's flag flying high! InsyaAllah...

Mama and kids day out!

Izzaty had a follow up appointment with Dr Gan yesterday and since Mr Hubby is in Pahang, mama had to take leave again.

Dr Gan said her wound is so 'degil'!  *macam orangnye lah! :P* It refused to heal... haha! But the good news is the injured tendons are now healed... alhamdulillah. It's just the wound that refused to close... tak tau la kenapa! And her skin around the wound got rashes... pretty bad I think! We were afraid it's another infection but doctor said the wound doesn't look infected... but he took same sample from izzaty's skin to be send to lab to check what kind of micro organism it is... hopefully nothing serious la kan... 

Since I was on leaves... the kids and I decided to go to Mid Valley to do 'back-to-school' shopping! :) When we reached Mid Valley, I was surprised to see the "FULL" signs on all the parking entrance. It's only 11++ am in the morning! What we did not know... it was actually Aeon's Members Day at Mid Valley!! Goodness.... entah berapa kali round baru dapat parking! 

And oh my god.... giler penat shopping!!!! Punya la ramai manusia!! After Mid Valley, ke Rawang pulak. Thought of picking up our 'free' modem and cordless phone from Telekom Malaysia - the gifts that they promised when we upgrade our Steamyx package. Unfortunately, since the account is under the name of Mr Hubby... I cannot claim the gifts :P Dah le hujan.... bayah kuyup makcik pergi for nothing! -_- 

Then to Tesco Rawang to pickup Izzat's professor 'free' uniform. Then we found the Professor Shop is closed! Bukan closed for the day... but C.L.O.S.E.D! As in 'no more' - for good!! :P  Aiyooo... frustrating betul!! How lar to claim the free uniform??? 

By the time we reached home at around 6pm, everybody was flat tired...

School shoes for Ms 'High-Maintenance'! :P RM219 you all for a pair of school shoes! Gosh! :P Penat pusing satu Mid Valley to find a suitable shoes! If last year, pengetua asked students to buy black shoes with 1 - 1 1/2inch heels... this year, since the new school is so huge... the shoes have to be flat! 

Mama decided to spend a bit on the school shoes... biar kalah membeli, asal menang memakai! :) Since lots of walking need to be done at the new school, better find a pair of comfy shoes for her! And most important of all... kasut yang tahan lama! Learned my lesson last year... huhu! 

She still needs to have a pair of heeled black-shoes for the wind orchestra performance... thanks god, the leather shoes that I bought last year is still cantik :) Otherwise, kena pulak beli satu lagu... pheww... sedikit lega ;)

Okay... I guess 80% of school preparation is done! Another 20% is for Izzaty's asrama things and Izzat's school books (waiting for the school coop to open soon!). Gosh.. I better keep track on my bank balance this month.. -_-

Bestest Friends Forever!

I had a fantastic, awesome Saturday on 1st of December :) I met my Kurshian friends from my secondary school years in the morning... And later in the eve, I met my childhood friends from my primary school years :) I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends... Alhamdulillah :)

My childhood friends are really something!! :) We had been friends for more than 30 years! Yes most of us lost touch after we left primary school... But thanks to Facebook and the modern tech... We are connected again... Better  and closer than ever!! ♥

Last Saturday, the seven of us got together at Pijah's 'recently emptied' condo in Mont Kiara. She and family has moved to a bigger house - congrats Ijah darling!

Souvenirs from BFFs- Chiang Mai's perfumed flower soap from Zai and Korea's nail clipper from Jade, Zita and Zana who went to Korea at the same time I went to Sydney. I gave them fridge magnets which I bought from Sydney :)

I really had a blast!!! Dari pagi sampai ke malam having fun with my girlfriends!!! ♥

Kolej Tunku Kurshiah @enstek

My family and I were at Bandar Baru Enstek last Saturday for Majlis Doa Selamat at the new Tunku Kurshiah College school :) When I texted K.Lin (our PIBG representative and an OGA) to RSVP our attendance, K.Lin replied 'Nanti tolong baca yassin kuat2 sikit ok? Doa selamat tkc kita yang baru!' - Of course!! Semangat saya berkobar2 sangat masa tu! ;)

But we were late... :(( Don't ask me what happened... We were just L.A.T.E!! Pffttt!!

By the time we reached the new Dewan Budiman, the bacaan yaasin has finished and I saw Ms Tg Noraini (GPK HEM - used to be my english teacher) was giving briefing on the new school, what's ready and what's not at the school, ect. I also saw lots of familiar faces in the hall and yeahh... Mr Hubby and Izzat were left behind while Izzaty and I mingled around meeting our friends :) hehe.. Sorry boys, we love you... But being Kurshians, we got pretty excited when we meet the other Kurshians... Lol!

Stayed in the hall for a while to continue listening on their plans for the new school. But hubby got bored and texted me 'Bosan aaa... jom la round2 tenguk sekolah baru'. haha...  I was more than happy to oblige! Was really excited to explore the new school!! :)) 

Gowd.... The school is HUGE! Lots and lots of stairs!! Izzaty boleh kurus le gini... Haha!

It's gonna be a grand new Kolej Tunku Kurshiah for sure! But I would definitely be missing the old school :(( Bukit Merbah was my old school... I spent 5 years of my teenage life there with lots of wonderful friends, seniors and juniors! The new school may be bigger and nicer... But Bukit Merbah will remains in my heart forever.. ♥

It's raining season in the month of November.... which reminds me of the song "November Rain". Do you guys know that song? Hmm... it's a song from the 80s lah. I know... I'm sooo old skool! :P

Talk about songs, the kids lately learned some songs from the 80s... which I thought was so funny :) Izzat was singing lagu "C.I.N.T.A" and I was like...
"Eh?? how dya know that song??"
He answered "Faiz nyanyi dalam "Oh My English!". Mama tau ke lagu tu??"
"Haloo?? Tu lagu lama tau... lagu zaman 80s!".

Lawak la pulak... lagu belajar meng'eja' tu diorang suka??! Lol! Izzat even asked my permission to download that song into MY phone!?? No way Izzat... I hate that song! :P

I also heard Izzat sang Sudirman's "Basikal Tua" (he said "Pak Sam nyanyi dalam "Oh My English!", Elton's John "Sorry seems to be the hardest word" (He heard this song in cerita "Hantu Mak Limah")... and the list go on! Whoaaa... my kids are becoming old skool just like me... Lol! :D

Dearest Hubby is in Pekan, Pahang now... and hey, today's his birthday!!! :))

The kids, emm.... no just Izzaty... beriya2 nak masuk Madame Tussauds when we visited Darling Harbour the other day. So in the end, ayah agreed to buy tickets for us to enter Madame Tussauds AND Sealife! ;) The kids had a blast posing with the wax celebraties at Madame Tussauds! Even my Izzat who hate taking pictures was sporting enough to smile and pose with the figurines at madame Tussauds ;D

Sealife on the other hand was not as good as I expected. Both kids said KLCC Aquaria is nicer... oh well, I reserved my comment as I myself have never been to KLCC Aquaria -_-
