Hmmmm.... dulu masa nak pujuk dia suruh belajar to get 5As.... macam2 hadiah di offer....haha! He said he wanted Sony expiria handphone laa.... laptop laa... Swatch watch la... bla bla bla... the list goes on! I told him 'whateverla Izzat... janji dapat 5A dulu... then you decide what you want' :P

Well... he did it. Dah dapat 5A. Janji kena la ditepati kan?

After a serious discussion with his Ayah (yeah... it's boys stuff... mama would rather stay behind... ayah 'uruskan' *read my lips.. 'BAYARKAN' hehe*  okay!), he finally decided to have an XBOX. Okay laaa... layan jer....

Tahniah Izzat... you finally got the XBOX that you want... huhu! :) Tapi kalau lepas ni malas belajar... mama cabut itu wayar kasi off itu XBOX... u like it or not :P

Alhamdulillah... Izzat ended his primary school life beautifully ;) Somehow, he managed to get 5As in the UPSR to the surprise of his teachers and friends... Haha! Mama dan Ayah sangat bersyukur... Thank you Allah for granting our doa.... Tak terkata lah bersyukurnya kami...

You guys should see the reaction of the whole school when his name was announced as a 5As student... There was a loud noise and and big claps from warga SKBB. Some even said 'Izzat dapat 5A??? (dengan nada terkejut!)'... Hehe! It was a surprise indeed... My Izzat is not an easy person to deal with... so those who know Izzat would understand why it was a big surprise to everyone... hehe... But deep in my heart, mama memang tahu kalau 'up' sikit kerajinan dan usaha Izzat memang boleh buat! Dan dengan izin Allah, you finally prove yourself that you can do it! And mama is super proud of u my boy! Once again, syukur Ya Allah atas rezeki ini... ❤

Berdebar menanti kedatangan guru besar dan wakil pibg.

Muka terkejut tapi happy when his name was announced as 5As student.

Tahun ini warga guru SKBB boleh tersenyum puas as the school result improved a lot! 31 students got 5As compared to 18 last year. With GP points 1.97... Sangat membanggakan!! Tahniah warga SKBB atas kemajuan ini!! Good job teachers and students!!!  

Izzat with Ustazah Ruzaini and Ustazah Suhana. Ustazah Ruzaini was Izzat's mentor and she was soooo delighted to hear Izzat could get 5As just like his big sister, Izzaty. (Hmmm Izzaty is still pretty popular here... -_-) Despite being the youngest among his friends (Izzat was born on 1st January 2002 while most of UPSR candidates this year were born in 2001), he somehow managed to stand tall together with the others.... Alhamdulillah, mama dan ayah sangat bersyukur! Thank you ustazah for taking care of both my children when they were in your school... 

With Nazim... Hmmmm.. these 2 boys, if they got together... boleh haru biru kelas!! Mmg x boleh duduk sama duorang nih! Warga SKBB mmg terkejut bila these 2 boys proved themselves by getting 5As :D

SubhanAllah.... what a beautiful ending for Izzat in his primary school life! Tahun depan... anak2 mama will both be in secondary school. How time flies... Sedih la pulak :'(( Before leaving the school,  yours truly took the opportunity to meet the teachers (mana yang sempat lah) and thank them atas jasa mereka mengajar anak2 saya dan atas kesabaran mereka dengan karenah anak2 saya sepanjang mereka mengajar anak2 saya. Terima kasih guru2 SKBB atas segala2 nya... from the bottom of my heart! May Allah bless all of you always! Au Revoir SKBB... moga sentiasa unggul di masa hadapan! :)

Today, Friday 15th... Was Izzat's last day in primary school...

Lunch with the Wahid sisters

My colleague Da Wahid has an awesome sister who cooks awesome food ;)) Kak Ana Wahid loves to put pictures of the food she cooked on facebook and yours truly and the other colleagues would left messages like 'sedapnya kak ana... Bila la dapat makan masakan kak ana niii'... :))

Kak Ana being the ever pemurah lady, finally invited us over to her place for lunch last Friday. And as expected... Awesomest food was served!!!! ;)))

The Wahid sisters live in Kampung Warisan Condominium in Setiawangsa - this place is awesome!!!! Macam resort!!! Seriously!! Me liking it sooo much! Tapi sure mahal... Monthly maintainance fee jer pun dah RM800 -_-. 

Told ya... Awesome food was served during our visit... ❤️

 Cheezy baked macarroni.... Oh wow, makan sikit jer dah kenyang ;)) Memang insanely delicious!! huhu!

 

The awesomest roasted chicken I've ever tasted! Kak Ana's own receipt!! Sedap giler Kak Ana..... Huhu.

 

Durian crepe - Well,  I am not a durian fan... so x makan la.... But was told by the others that this is the BEST durian crepe eva! Kak Ana said this one she ordered from Petit Delicacy... a young lady who do home business cooking yummilicious delicacies.

Yours truly ate a lot of these.... Mushroom bruschetta.... Terrrrbaek la Kak Ana! Love it soooo much!!! Nak resipi pleaseee!!!!! ;))

Like Tda said in the pic... memang best lah all the food!!! Yours truly tengah concentrate enjoying the food - tak angkat muka dah... Lol!

After kekenyangan, yours truly decided to explore the Wahid sisters house... I dunno why but somehow, their house reminds me of my life back in the States... Haha.

Too bad we had to be back early as there was a briefing in the evening ( which we found out was cancelled at the last minute... Ishh!!! :P )... Otherwise, harus terlelap satu round... Coz the beds in the house look so cozy and comfy... Huhu.

CikKiahs visiting Toet

Our friend, Lily a.k.a Toet has not been doing well for the past few years. She had some bacterial infection a while ago and the after effects of that has left one of her eye's retina detached and poor eyesight in the other. And due to her illness, she was not able to get a stable job. Our batchmates of Kurshian 8387 discussed about this and bounced off some ideas on how we could help get Toet back on her feet and support her family (She has a son who is in college now, and a 7 year-old daughter).

And alhamdulillah... we managed to collect some amount of money (quite an impressive amount actually!) and since Toet mentioned that she is keen to start her own  tailoring business, we decided to buy her a good sewing machine and some supplies to get her started.

Wewe, Germ, Mar, Ida (and her family) and yours truly volunteered to go to Kuantan to meet Toet and bring her to the nearest Singer shop to buy the sewing machine that she chose....

So yesterday, I woke up early to ensure I could reach Mar's mom's place in Hulu Kelang by 7:30am. And later left my car there to car-pool with the gang (Germ, Mar & her girl Athilla, Wewe and myself) in Wewe's beamer to Kuantan.

But first and foremost...breakfast dulu... at Leha KelFood, Taman Melati. This is our meeting point with Ida and her family (hubby and 2 kids) before take off ;) Other than us, Lady Has came to join us for breakfast... (Thanks Has sudi datang breakfast with us :)

 

OMG... this is a HUGE breakfast man! :P

After isi perut... off to Kuantan via Karak highway...

Reached Beserah, Kuantan (where Toet live) around 12 noon. Stopped at Duta Sands Beach Resort which is just a few mins walk from Toet's place. Called her... and a few mins later, she came with her little girl, Aila.

Later, off we went to a kedai Singer where we survey a good sewing machine, an edging machine and some sewing accessories for Toet...

He was amazed that we came all the way to KL just to buy teman our friend to buy sewing machines.

and he commented 'awak semua nampak happy saja' (oh yes... us being kaypohcee and kecoh at the kedai gelak2!). Later... another shock for him... sebab orang lain yang beli machine... tapi orang lain pulak yang berebut nak bayarkan! (wewe and both holding some money from the collection)... hehe.

Then, semua orang sudah lapar.... and off we go to this warung for lunch!

 

 

I drank one of those gelas besar air kelapa! Toet's girl commented that "alahh.. bukan boleh abis pun gelas besar tu!" (we ordered her air kelapa with regular glass). But later she terkejut besar coz this Aunty Runi can finish the whole gelas besar... lol! Not only Aila terkejut....the other aunties pun amazed! :D

Our Kuantan lecturer came to meet us for lunch... yeay! Thank you Tina for coming and join us! She paid for our lunch somemore... woohoo!! :D

 By the time we came back to Toet's place, it's already 6++pm. So we decided to wait till Maghrib before heading home... 

Ayla gave me this..... awwww..... cair Aunty Runi tau *hugs!*

 

Left Toet's place after Maghrib.... with fond memories of this trip.... and a huge amount of fresh fishes!!! :D Toet's dad insisted that we brought back the fishes that he caught today. Thank you sooo much uncle!! Uncle memang awet muda.. . hehe! :D  (he does look younger than his age tau!)

It was raining during our journey home. Stopped by at Temerloh R&R for dinner and coffee.

Reached Mar's mom's place after 12 midnight... and reached home safely around 1am. Alhamdulillah... thank you Allah kerana mempermudahkan perjalanan kami....

Sudah tentu ikan pemberian Toet's dad... hehe! Yum! yum! :))
