Na and family came yesterday evening and spent the night at our place. It has been quite a while since we last met... so we have lots of catching up to do... especially Danisyah and Izzaty :) Danisyah even slept with us in our room last night :) Izzat was a bit upset since the girls had ignored him nad he was left alone :( Well, girls are girls :) Boys gi main jauh2 kan? ;)
Was a bit late leaving home for work this morning but alhamdulillah, managed to make it to the office before 9am. The CAS loan user testing begins today.... busy, busy, busy... :P

Good Bye Perodua 1119
Finally, we're able to let go of the Kembara to a nice couple from Chille - Fernando and Carolina.. :) They are such a nice, beautiful couple :) That left the black Altis... before I'll be able to get a new MyVi.
Izzaty is all ready for the opening of new season of school next year... which is about 10 days from now. All arrangement for the primary school is done... only the sekolah agama rakyat registration is not done (which I am planning to do this coming Monday). Izzat's registration is also done... Pn Amy, his school principal will dropped by at our house a few days before school start to deliver his new school uniform.
Yesterday, after all the JPJ bussiness finished with Carolina and Fernando, we dropped by at the Excellent Holiday Citra Kembara's office to make an inquiry on the Muslim package to Beijing/Seoul. Since I am so keen to have this trip... both husband and I have agreed to book the package to Beijing/Seoul for this coming CNY holiday. I'm pretty excited about this trip as it would be my first experience to travel in winter since I left USA back in 1994. The kids won't be joining us as we don't think Izzat could stand the cold weather... and we wouldn't want Izzaty to miss school at the beginning of her school life :) *alasan kan? huhu!*
Well, I pray that this time the trip would be for real.... since I was quite frustrated for not being able to go to Korea with hubby early this month... huhu :P

Desperately need a break!!
My dream to Korea did not come true in the end... *sigh!*. Flight was still full till a day before the actual day... so I decided to cancel the booking. Sedikit kecewa :( Not just because I was not able to go to Korea... but I was also not able to take a single day leaves to rest... as the Hedging project need to be done before the month end.... urghhhhh!!!! I desperately need to take leaves..!!! :P
Anyway, hubby is still planning to have a holiday either to Korea or may be other interesting places in January - either during Eidil Adha or Chinese New Year break. But Eidil Adha is just a few weeks away... will we able to make it?? Chinese New Year is about a month from now... but I suspected many people has already booked flight to grab this long holiday opportunity... will we be able to catch the plane?????? Tenguk je la nanti... huhu..

oPeN hOuSe!!
Lots of things happened since I last wrote in blog :) Firstly, let me tell why I had to suffer the pain after the Eid celebration.. apparently there was a hugh ulcer at 'that place' and I did not know about it until I could not stand the pain anymore and decided to meet a lady specialist in PUSRAWI. To make my story short... after a minor operations, I was finally relieved from the severe pain.. alhamdulillah... the best part was, the doc gave me 8 days of medical leaves... yehaa!! :)
Had a nice rest at home but had to make myself busy preparing for our open house. The main menu for the open house was Faris' brother's Laksa Johor and Kak Aina's sis's soto. MIL cooked her special rendang hitam and my mom cooked her special rendang hijau. A bunch of friends, neighbors and relatives came on that day... alhamdulillah... and the party ended at around 7pm. (A few people came after Maghrib, luckily our laksa johor has not finished... the rest are history :))
Works are getting tedious nowadays. We are now expected to fill up timesheet - to report how many hours we spent on each projects and what we do during working hours. Izzaty is pretty excited to go to school next year. We have bought her text and work books and MIL volunteered to sew her uniform (very, very nice of her.... I know, I am soo lucky to have her as my MIL.... Alhamdulillah... Love you mak :)) Bought 3 pairs of school shoes for Izzaty and a pair of black school shoes for Izzat... both kids looks excited to start school :)
We talked about bringing the kids to Korea for a holiday... it's gonna be cold in Korea and I'm really looking forward to go skiing. Brought the kids to Genting's Snow World to test how they would adapt to cold weather... unfortunately, Izzat could not stand the cold... he started having running nose after a few minutes in the cold room... and begin shouting 'Nak balikkkkk' after a while.. :) Izzaty was okay.. but to be fair, we decided not to bring both of them for our Korea trip. Since it's gonna be just the 2 of us... I decided to tail along hubby during his business trip to Korea. It's next week... and our flight is not yet confirmed! (It's fully booked.. so I'm under the waiting list... business class... yeap!!! If there is vacancies, I'll be able to sit on the MAS's business class for the first time in my life!!). Can't wait till that day.... pray to Allah, everything will go well.... Aaminn..

Ulcer at Bont*t??? Euuuwwww!!
Was on medical leaves for 8 days since Friday 11th. The pain in my 'butt' was actually caused by ulcer which has actually spread to the pile where it hurt most when I did my 'business'. Euuuu... how embarrassing!!!!!!! :P
Anyway, I had to go through a minor operation to get rid of the pile (should have done this years ago!). Anyway, I feel better now, alhamdulillah... have to be careful with my diet to avoid constipation in the future..
We organized an 'open house' last Sunday and invited relatives, friends, collages and neighbors for a small gathering. Alhamdulillah, lots of people turned up... giving us the opportunity to get to know our neighbours and see old friends :) Pjoy, Zita, Jija (been years since I met her!! What a nice surprise!), Chuk, KA, Ila and Yusri came... been a long time since we can chit-chat like this in a big group :)
Izzat has started his Kumon class.... surprisingly, he behaves quite well in the class... :) Hope he'll improve a lot as he needs some polishing especially in writing alphabets and numbers! As for his sister, Izzaty managed to improve her position by getting the 49th place out of 2000+ of Kumon students of her age.. alhamdulillah. Thank you again ALlah... for giving me such wonderful kids.....

Too much meat rendang??
It's 6th Syawal... we had a great time in Melaka celebrating Eid! Everybody in hubby's family came back to Melaka for hari raya and my kids had great fun with their cousin. We took lots of nice family pics which I thought is so cool as we don't get much time gathering around like this. Izzaty looked so mature in her blue 'kebaya moden' :) Whilst Izzat looked as handsome as his ayah :) We went back to Kuala Pilah on 2nd Syawal afternoon, to pick up my mom and later visited PakLong Eno, Mak Long Eda and Pak Teh's houses.... those 3 are the 'must-visit' houses left for us after Awe passed away a few months ago.
Well, I'm back in my office since yesterday. It's really boring as many colleagues are still on leaves and the office are so quiet. Hubby is scheduled to go to Japan this weekend which upset me a bit. But the most upsetting thing that ever happened to me this Syawal is I have a bad constipation (probably too much meat - rendang and so on! How embarassing!! :P ) and it really hurts :P Met doc yesterday... took medicines as prescribed... but still the pain is still there... *sigh!*.

Counting days to Cuti Raya!!
It's 22nd of Ramadhan... I can't fast today.. hopefully I can fast soon as I want to try to get the best that I can this Ramadhan... insyaAllah. And alhamdulillah, this year my presence at the mosque for terawih prayer has improved.. :) Hope it will get better each year.. Ameen :)
Izzaty is doing pretty well this Ramadhan.. alhamdulillah, she managed to fast till the evening except for 2 days (1st day of Ramadhan, she only made it till 3pm.. and on 3rd of Ramadhan she was somehow tempted by the sweets and candies served during birthday party in school). Hopefully she'll get stronger each day. Izzat is still too small to understand the meaning of 'fast'. He actually told me that he's fasting but at the same time has his bottle of milk in his mouth :)
I'm yet to get the Raya mood. Hubby again (for the 3rd year in sequence!) could not take long leaves for raya... so again (for the 3rd year!) I'm relieving my colleagues for the raya holiday as I am not taking any extra leaves... huhu! Am trying my best to make the best of the situation... at least for the kids' sake! This year, we are going back to Melaka... and hopefully we could make it to Kuala Pilah on 2nd raya :) Let's us pray that we would arrive at our destination safely.

TEB's Concert 2005

Attended the kids' concert last night... and it was really entertaining... especially to watch Izzat on the stage :) He looked soooo cute in his red chinese costume... :) When did he grow that big... I can't remember :) Izzaty's story telling was not that bad either... :)
Alhamdulillah, Izzaty managed to maintain the 1st position in her class (after staying up late on Thursday night after coming back from Redang for last minute revision for the exam). I am not sure how Izzat did though... as only 1st to 3rd positions was announced during the concert. The rest would have to wait until the last day of school when report-cards were returned. And alhamdulillah, Izzaty also won the 'Pelajar Cemerlang' award. I felt so proud to see her with the award... as I know it is her dream to win that award... I thank you again Allah for every single thing that happened in my life.

A ramble of a stressed mom
I have been sooooo stressed these few days! All preparations going to Redang was doing okay.. until Izzaty broke the news that her final exam falls on the very same day we're going to Redang. I talked to her principle and she confirmed the date... she also told me that both of my kids could sit for the exam later... but all papers are to be done on the same day. Same day?? err... I believe Izzaty MAY be able to cope doing all papers in a day.. but Izzat???
Hubby is not helping at all... all he knows is we ARE all going to Redang... rain or shine! Huhu! I do want to go to Redang.. infact, I've been looking forward to it.. but I'd hate for the kids to miss their exam... :(:( It's sooo upsetting... infact, I have no mood for holiday anymore!! :(
The VRS project is on the final stage... this is another reason why I'm sooo stressed! My PL has been pushing us around to finish up the program migrations, ect. Our new change coordinator is quite new at his job.. and he could not attend my OS log... which is sooo frustrating!! :(
Well... life goes on. I pray to Allah, everything will be okay... hope for the best... insyaAllah...

My 'Awe' meninggal dunia..
My grandma or fondly known as 'Awe' in our family... passed away last Tuesday. She was 93 years old but still I was surprise to hear the news... she was a great person... although we argued a lot along the way... still, she was always there for us... it was quite sad to see her lying on that bed not moving anymore... Innalillahi Wainnalillahi Rojiun..
The kids are back to school today. Izzaty is now in Level D in her Kumon class. Ms Jeya has put her photo in the GOLD section... and how delighted I was when I saw the new location of my girl's photo :) Again I thank Allah for such a wonderful gift.... You are the greatest Allah!! And how thankful I am for every single thing I have in Your world...

Meeting old friends...
The system hang again.... well, not that I'm complaining... :) It gave me the chance to type something in my blog :) Today, I'm having lunch with my ex-ITM friends.. Hafiz, Acet, Wan Anita (these 3 people used to be my best friends... too bad Kath is not around to complete the whole team) and may be Mantoi and Husni are joining us too.
Weekend was the usual routine. But on Saturday, hubby sent Mak to Along's house. Mak was suppose to help Along's new maid to familiarise herself to the daily routine... only when they reached there... they found out the maid has ran away! Poor Along...
Well... it's not only Along's problem... since Mak is staying at Along's place... Bibik will have no one to accompany at home her during our trip to Langkawi. So now, I probably have to take 2 days leaves just to send Bibik to Along's place on Friday and later fetch Bibik on Sunday when we came back from Langkawi. Hmm.... and here I thought I could save my annual leaves for our Redang trip.... *sigh!*.

A day off with Germ at Metro Jaya
Hubby has gone outstation to Japan. Germ and I took one day off yesterday to go to the Metro Jaya member's preview sale. It was fun meeting Germ again... we haven't done this together ever since she got herself married! While doing our shopping, we met Awa, our 1-year junior in college. I also got the honour of meeting Kak Ana Wahid, my senior from UMKC during lunch hour. In short... I had a great time! :) May be I should do this more often..

Langkawi... here we come!!!
Boy... it's been a long time since I last wrote to this blog! Didn't feel like writing anything... well, no interesting news to share, anyway... *sigh!*.
The kids are getting bigger and getting more 'creative' in making my head ache... :) Alhamdulillah, Izzaty is nearly finishing reading Quran.. and Izzat is making improvement in his "Cahayaku" reading class... his colouring skill is still untidy... but nevertheless, he's making some improvement :)
Hubby has been promoted to DGM... alhamdulillah. The 3yrs old kembara would be replaced with a new Toyota Altis... which I think is so cool! :) He is excited with the news but at the same time quite nervous to hold such a big responsibility. Dear God... please help him.. give him strength to carry the responsibility at his best ability. As for me, everyone at the office is busy filling up the KPI forms. I am not sure what to expect this year as I have 2 delayed projects though it wasn't my fault that the projects were delayed! Guess I'll just pray and hope for the best....
The kids sport day would be on 6th of August but on the same day, hubby's department has planned to have a 'family day' at Langkawi. I'm looking forward to attending the kids' sport day and at the same time, I'd looooveeeee to go to Langkawi :):) Never been there before - believe it or not!. So we asked Izzaty to choose wheater she prefers going to the sport day or Langkawi. And guess what... she chose Langkawi... so woalla!!! We are all going to Langkawi on 3rd of August until 5th of August... insyaAllah :) Isn't that exciting? I can't wait to do all the shopping I can in Langkawi!! I already have "Corelle dining set" in mind.. *grin* :) I'd better watch my spending this month or I won't be getting the corelle dining set... hehe.

All family members are very sad..... We love you Sara... we miss you... but Allah loves you more... Al Fathihah...

School holiday has begun! But I really have no plan for the children. Izzaty has already been complaining that she's bored (that was on the last day of school?? Wow.. I guess she got that from me.. haha!). Anyway, the VRS projects is in UAT stage... so I do have a few things to settle before getting involved in the UAT. I have a few trainings scheduled next week and in June. Will try to take a few days leaves for the children's sake...

Just came back from Ampang Puteri Medical Center to visit my (current) boss's wife and my ex-boss who are both hospitalised suspected due to something is wrong with their heart. I am so glad to see boss's wife is doing okay... apparently nothing is wrong with her heart... but the pain she felt is probably due to gastric wind inside her body. Whist, my ex-boss does not look very well... I can see that he is in pain... doctor detected some kind of liquid (probably water or blood??) surrounded his heart. He looks so pale... please Allah, let them be all right...
I went to take both Izzaty & Izzat's report card at their kindergarten this morning. The good news is Izzaty got 100% in all her paper :) Way to go girl!! Mama is so proud of you! Whist, Izzat is a different story... hehe. Though he got the last place ni his class, I'd say he's doing okay.. at least I can see a few improvement compared to before he attended school. His colouring is so 'cincai'... and from what I see he has difficulties to focus when ever he is being taught... may be due to his young age. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with his progress... lots of thanks to his teachers... and again ALHAMDULILLAH... I thank Allah... for giving me such wonderful kids...

Yesterday there was 'Hari Ibu & Bapa' day at Perodua plant. We registered Izzaty for the fashion show and colouring competition and really looking forward to it :) I borrowed Sara's old cheong-sam and bought a chinese handbag and fan especially for this occasion... we even sent her to a hair saloon to make her hair like the traditional chinese hair-do! :) But when we reached there, I found out that a parent and a child should be on the stage for the fashion show wearing the same dress theme. What??? I don't want to be on stage... I don't even have a cheong-sam to wear to match Izzaty's cheong sam!! But the bottom line is.. both hubby and I refused to be on the stage!!! So in the end, we cancelled Izzaty's name for the fashion show.. haha!
Izzaty was a bit upset for not being able to show-off her cheongsam on stage but at least the colouring competition was still on and she was pretty excited about it. Unfortunately, she did not win the top 8 price for the colouring competition.... huhu! Naturally, she was upset about it... but the consolation price did make her feel better :)
A few weeks back, I was surprise but very delighted to know that Izzaty is doing quite well in her Quran class... alhamdulillah... thank you Allah...for giving me such wonderful gifts... Izzaty & Izzat. Semoga kami diberi petunjuk untuk mendidik anakanda2 kami menjadi anak2 yang soleh dan solehah dan cemerlang dunia dan akhirat...

I had a lunch with 2 good friends of mine today... Zeeta and Pjoy :) I brought the Gold Coast pics along to share with them. Pjoy looks great... I noticed that he has slimed down a bit... good for him :) When I asked him the usual question (Any girlfriend yet?).. he gave me the same old answer... lots of friends but no one special... hahaa... that is so typical of him :) It's so good to meet them again.... missing the old good days... huhu!

This week is one tiring week... not that we have lots of things to do at the office... but I guess it's the continuation of tiredness brought forward from our Gold Coast vacation (and I thought we'd be fully energised after the vacation!! Yeah right!! With the kids around it's even more tiring! Not that I'm complaining... the Gold Coast vacations would not be as exciting without the kids definately!!). Yesterday, I sent mom to Acik's house where Ruby is on confinement there until her new born baby boy 'Amirul Harith' is recovered from jaundice. Once baby Amirul is recovered, they are coming to our place and stay with us thoughout her confinement. They are even planning to do 'kenduri qeqah' at my place for the baby... alhamdulillah, hopefully my house will be blessed by Allah... :) Baby Amirul is soo tiny... :) It's gonna be fun to see Izzat's reaction when the baby comes to our house...

Trip to Gold Coast
Our vacation to Australia turned out to be quite eventful. Upon arrival at the Brisbane airport, we could not find our stroller. Someone has mistakenly took our stroller and left his/hers at the airport (which we did not take of course). So we just had to make the best of the journey without the stroller.
We had a great time at Movie World on the first day and Sea World on the 2nd day (we decided to rent a stroller from the hotel on the 2nd day to avoid Izzat getting too tired and became grumpy :)) Izzaty was really excited to get her photos taken with her favourite cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny, Powerpuff girls, Tweety, Batman, ect. We also had a ball trying most of the rides at both Movie Worlds and Sea World!!
We had a free day on the 3rd day that we decided to go to the Currumbin Wildlife Sactuary on our own. Unlike Izzaty, Izzat was adventurous enough to feed the kangaroos with his own hand. We took a few pictures with a koala bear and it was at that time that particular koala bear chose to 'berak'... yulky!!! Later, we got the chance to go to the Carrara Market for window shopping (things at the market are more expensive than we've expected!) before heading back to the Surfing Paradise where we had our rest a few minutes at our hotel room and later enjoyed the beach on a very windy evening. On the 4th day, we went to Brisbane for a city tour before later headed back to the Brisbane Airport for our flight home....

Last Thursday we went to Sekolah Alam Shah to accompany Zamri to pick up his SPM result. Amazingly, he got 10 A1s and 1 A2.... an excellent result considering how active he was in the school band and debate team. We are so proud of him! :) While he was busy chatting away with friends who he has not meet for quite sometime... we went to Alamanda for window shopping and did some groceries. ... the first time ever I stepped my feet in Alamanda! :)
Last weekend we went to the MATTA fair just to browse around what's in offer.. lots of good offer around.. but we did not buy anything as we've already made plans for Australia this month and Redang Island next September. Anyway, later we went to Petaling Streets as hubby would like to buy a pair of cool sunglasses for the Australia trip. What a tiring day...
Izzaty got a bad cough last night... so this morning, I sent her to the doctor early in the morning before I left for work. Alhamdulillah, she agreed to take the medicines as I told her to get well soon before our Australia vacation. She's counting days.... 9 more days to go!! :)

Now that the conversion is finally over... I feel so exhausted!! Had to work on Saturday to check the daily conversion is okay.. alhamdulillah... though there were some minor problems here and there... I'd say the overall conversion went quite well... Alhamdulillah.... :)
I'm already engaged with another project... which is yet to start (should start anytime now) - wish I could have more time to rest... sheesh!! :(
Anyway, Izzaty is counting days for our vacations... and I've started buying things to bring to Australia. It's 2 more weeks.. and I really can't wait!!! :)

Izzaty sat for KUMON assessment exam last week and managed to upgrade herself to the upper level... alhamdulillah!! :) She is now a SILVER ASHR student... and I am so proud of her! :) I thank Allah for giving me such wonderful childrens...
The MBB-MFB gl conversion has been delayed (again!!) to 4th of March 2005. That give me ample time to prepare lots of thing! :) I am really excited for the Goldcoast trip...!! It would be so wonderful to be able to travel with the kids. This trip is like a gift for Izzaty for doing so well in her Kumon class :) And it's definately gonna be Izzat's first oversea trip :)

Back to work... back to world of stress!! The GL conversion continue and I can't wait to get it done so that I'll be able to rest for a while! Today, I managed to take an hour off to MAS building to pay the deposit of our trip to Gold Coast... yeap.... the 4 of us are going to Australia... yehaaa!!! It's gonna be fun, insyaAllah!! :) I'm yet to exercise 1 lot of my ESOS especially for this trip :)
Conveniently, a friend of mine back from college days are now in Brisbane doing her PhD in Law. So I might be able to meet her up during my stays there.. would that be interesting? :) Nini called this morning just to ask on how I was doing... told her about the unfortunate miscourage :( If nothing went wrong... I would have joined her in the 'pregnant mom' team. Well... Allah knows what's best for all of us...

I'm not pregnant anymore :~(. Did D&C with Dr Harris last Thursday after excessive bleeding on the previous day. I was upset but at least I was prepared for the news after meeting Dr Harris earlier last Saturday. I believe there is 'hikmah' in this... Allah knows best and I thank god for everything... please ALlah... let me be a strong muslimah...

Went to see a doctor yesterday and was told my baby is too small compared to my expected pregnancy week. I'm a bit nervous with the news but at the same time I'm quite positive it's gonna be all right. I only could pray that the baby will grow to be a healthy kid.
Tonight all my laws will be coming to our place for the Eid gathering. We're having a barbeque dinner tonight (first time ever in history I'm going to host a barbeque gathering at my house!).

Was sooooooo busy with the merging conversion project. The FA, profit transfer 2 and non-auto non-product phase went out quite smoothly but we were having problem on the Auto Finance conversion as both users (Mayfin and Maybank) could not reach an understanding on how to pass the data... so in the end, the project had to be postponed until they have studied on the best solution for auto finance. Meanwhile, I can breath a little easier.... phew!!! What a busy weeks!!! I went back at 8pm nearly everyday and even had to work on Christmast day!! This is sooo not me... :):)
Anyway, the kids are adjusting nicely at school. Izzat had problem to be left at school in the beginning... but a week later he adjusted surprisingly quite well :) The fact that his 'Kak Long' is around is quite helpful... she sometimes even help her little brother to wash up after doing business in the toilet.. :)
Pregnancy is not very obvious yet... but morning sickness is already there... *sigh!*. Please Allah.. let me be strong throughout this pregnancy...
