1st Syawal 1437H

Syawal was simple but a bless nevertheless. Alhamdulillah, somehow we managed to pull things together and get food ready for raya haha! I forgot to take the food pics but we had the usual rendang, nasi impit, kuah kacang and all served on pagi raya. Thanks to everyone for the potluck food... Hehe. 

Okay, gambar raya is a must! Yg ni tak lupa... Lol!

The Hussin clan is in blue this year. We did not plan it but it just happened, seriously! I guess great mind think alike eh? ;)

Ayah is still in the hospital, we miss you ayah! Wishing you were with us :(

It's not everyday we can see the spontaneous smile of Izzat Lol!

The Hussin clan spent about 1/2 day together. By noon, they all left Bukit Beruntung for HKL to visit ayah. We stayed to clean the house and had a good rest before going to the hospital after Asr prayer. Ayah looked so weak and sad... And it really broke our hearts to see him like that. 

Speedy recovery Ayah... Stay strong okay!

Raya Mode 2015

Am so busy to write a post lately. Been so busy at work and such. So, let's just enjoy our raya pics ya... Afterall, a picture paints a thousand words! :D

1st Syawal - in Kampung Sempang Pantai, Merlimau, Melaka.

2nd Syawal - back in KL oredi. We had a small majlis doa selamat at my Along's home in Sri Damansara. The doa selamat was led by my ustaz-cousin, Bang Li ;)

3rd Syawal - visiting my Mak Long in Kepong and my Pak Tam in Ampang.

Wanted to wear my old baju kurung on 3rd Syawal but unfortunately it's not as 'loose' as it used to be... Arghhh!!! :'((

Izzaty ended up wearing the baju huhu.

A Simple Raya

I soooo miss blogging... huhu! Been so tired lately that when I came home I don't feel like doing anything but sleep... -_-

So yeah... this is my belated raya post :)

This year, our raya was really sempoiii... Raya preparation was done totally at the last minute. 2 days before raya baru laaa sibuk nak buat raya shopping! Had to wait for the kiddos to come back from asrama baru boleh shopping (I guess this will continue for the next few years... haha!). My baju raya that I sent to my tailor tak siap... and I gotto know this only 3 days before raya.... pfftt!! Saba jo lah :P At first, I wanted to wear my old kurung jer... I had a pair that matched the peach colour scheme that Hubby chose this year (yes, tahun ni hubby yang pilih kaler tema! hehe)... tapi masa jalan2 kat One-U... hubby ternampak a pair of baju kurung on a mannequin kaler peach yang matched our colour... terus beli laaa... apa lagi :P

Anyway, this year, kami beraya with my mom and siblings at my Along's house in Sri Damansara dulu...

My 2 other sisters - Ruby went back to Melaka and Dik Ma was in Batang Kali on 1st raya morning.

After zuhur, we went back to hubby's hometown in Melaka...

3rd raya, we went back to Kuala Pilah to visit my uncles. Lalu depan lot 165-B, Jalan Bahau...

This used to be our home... Our playground... Sedih tenguk tinggal cenggini jer :'((

4th snd 5th raya visited my aunts and uncles in KL...

That's all ;) Alhamdulillah... Raya yang simple tapi sempat jumpa ramai relatives... 

I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone (yes, that include you... who are reading my blog) for my wrongdoings and if I've ever offended you in any ways throughout our friendship. I hope everyone is having an awesome Raya with your loved ones, but please let’s not forget about our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Let us make doa for them and do our best to show our support.

2012 - Raya with my family at my eldest sis house in Sri Damansara. Iya you... Raya kat Kay Ell le kami ni... huhu! Al maklum la kami ni dah tak de kampung... sob sob :((

2011 - Among my fave raya pics in Melaka... posing at an old Melaka house in Bandar Merlimau. The first raya ever kami bersepakat pakai kaler yang sedondon... we went GREEN :)

2010 - Raya with my family @ our home in Lucky Hill.

2009 - The double celebration raya in Melaka! 1st Syawal and our 12th anniversary celebration!

2008 raya was a quiet one with our mom at our home in Lucky Hill before we go back to Malacca.

2007 - Raya in Melaka. My first attempt in bead sewing - see Izzaty's kurung :)

2006 -  the MOST UNFORGETTABLE raya EVER!! Last raya we celebrated at our beloved home in Kuala Pilah before the house kena roboh... :'(( Everyone was there except my sister, Ruby and her family. It was awesome! Unforgettable! Really miss the old house.... :'((

2005 - Aidil  Fitri in Melaka and Aidil Adha in Lucky Hill (bottom left and bottom pics)

 

The bottom pic is another fave pic of mine... seronok tenguk ragam the kids in the pic. Izzat was not in the pic sebab merajuk (can't remember what was the reason dia merajuk.. tapi mmg spoil betul lah sebab everyone was in the pic except him... aishhh!!)

2004 - at Kuala Pilah... Love the top pic! Lawak tenguk gaya Danial and Adam (they were looking at each other and giving 'you wanna fight' look.. Haha!). And the girls are sooo comel esp Sara ;))

2003 - The first raya after we came back from Hajj. Our raya baju sedondon gitu... Kain satin cotton from Jedah. And when we visited my aunt at Kuala Pilah, she asked 'berapa kodi kain beli ni?' Lol!! :'D

2002 - Izzat's first raya and wearing his first baju melayu... Comel overload!!! ❤

2001 - I was pregnant of Izzat. On first Syawal I got false contraction.. Felt the pain every 5 mins.. Thought it was for real.. Bergegas la mr hubby menghantar ke Mahkota Hospital di Bandar Melaka... The nurse asked if we'd like to induce... And I said no... And bertahan la saya dgn false contraction once in a while until a week later, that is 1/1/02... Baru Izzat was born ;))

2000 - Double Celebration - 1st Syawal and Izzaty's first birthday! Was wearing her first baju kurung! She was born in Ramadhan 1999 so this was her 2nd Raya ;))

1999 - beraya dalam pantang u all after giving birth to Izzaty... and I refused to share the pic walaupun the pic is in the photobook hahahha! :D

Aidil Adha 1434H

Had one of the most awesomest eid adha eva!! ;))

All my sisters and brother and our family members got together with our mom - all under one roof (my Along's house)... Which had not happened for a very long time!! Happy giler!! ;)) *bliss* alhamdulillah... ❤
