Sistercation to South Korea

 Annyeonghaseyo!

For the past few years, my sisters and I had created a 'tabung' for our 'sistercation' annual trip. Our first trip was to Kunming in 2014, Perth trip in 2017 (2 years gap due to my youngest sis got pregnant and baby Zain was born in 2016 I think), South Korea in 2018 and later Redang Trip in 2020.

Am saving some of the pics from the South Korea trip here for memories down the lane. Nak cerita banyak pun tak boleh sebab punya lah lama dah trip ni, tak ingat dah apa nak cerita Lol! So, kita upload gambar je lah ya... Pictures all from my IG. Dah tak keep in my phone.

Upon arrival, kami naik train ke PyeongChang. Kebetulan masa ni musim YeongChang Winter Olympic 2018. Sejuk gedikssss haha.

The AbdulManafClan sisters. Love you all to the moon and back 😘❤️

PyeongChang is famous for Ski Resort. So, ajuma2 ni sibuk gak lah registered ourselves to learn how to ski :D Priceless experience indeed! We survived the ski class... hahaha! Giler betul... baru belajar sikit2, dah kena ski from up hill turun ke bawah... memang nervous giler rasa sepanjang skiing down the sloop tu...
This is my ski instructor... apa ntah nama dia lupa... lol!

This resort is also famous as one of the location for Goblin drama.
Masa pegi ni, tak tenguk lagi series ni... balik dari trip ni, terus tenguk cerita ni... haha.

At Olympic Station @ Jinbu, Pyeongchang. On our way to Seoul.

Hey Seoul Sisters ❤️
At Seoul Central Mosque which is located near our rented AirBnB apartment in Itaewon.

Tengah jalan2 kat Itaewon, boleh pulak terserempak dengan adik manis ni...
I was like... eh, macam kenal!!!
Unexpected catch up thousands of miles away from home Lol!
Ita was an ex Maybanker... now attached with Bank Negara.
It was really good to meet you again sis... hehe.

Of course, our trip to Korea would not be completed if we do not go to Nami Island haha.
One day trip to Nami Island in a freezing cold weather...
Tercapai cita2 I nak sampai sini... hahahaha.
 Awesome view in Nami Islands..

Visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Weather was -13C... sejuk gediks... haha.

With of the palace's guards.

Meet Jeff, our volunteer teen guide. Apparently, it is compulsory for teenagers to do voluntary work here in Korea. Bersungguh2 si Jeff ni speaking English to explain to us the history of the buildings here in Gyeongbokgung Palace. Calon menantu?? hahaha..

At LINE Friends Store in Itaewon.

Spending the last eve in Seoul on top of Namsan Tower. Toilet kat atas Namsan Tower ni awesome u all... view dia cantik sangat... toilet with a view gitu.... Lol!
These love keychains at the bottom of Namsan Tower is a famous spot for lovers... also famous spot untuk romantic kpop drama location.

Alhamdulillah, feel so blessed to be able to spend some quality time with my sisters. Wishing that one day, my one and only brother can join us also... ❤️

Beijing & Seoul Trip

I had such a wonderful time in Beijing & Seoul! :) This is our belated 8th anniversary trip :) Made lots of friend in the group - a couple from Ampang, 2 wonderful career ladies from petronas, a family of 8 and 10 staff of Kuwait Finance. Weather are cold.. but it's a nice change compared to the current hot weather in Malaysia.

Beijing is historically interesting! We had great fun travelling with our Chinese tour guide Mr Lee a.k.a Ali :) And he can speak Malay! Or rather.. Indon language.. so we can understand him very clearly :) Among my favorite places we visited are..

The Great Wall of China (of course!) - we had fun climbing the wall!

The Nan Dou Ya Mosque (alhamdulillah... we were given the chance to pray in this 5000 yrs old mosque).

The Summer Palace (the lake were frozen! We had fun walking on the ice!)

The Forbidden City

Wax Museum

Panda Zoo

Naik beca in Hutong.... seronok!! :)
Kesejukan masa berbeca! :D

Shopping.. shopping.. shopping... hehe..HRC Beijing

Shopping for China Silks!

And more shopping malls which I can't recall the names :)

Seoul on the other hand is more modern. But we had the chance to visit some historical places like the Kyonbok Palace & Cultural Museum. Our Korean tourist guide is not as nice as Ali but Jeffry @ Giraffe is not so bad.. he made our trips very organized and arranged for us to have our Dzuhur prayer at the Seoul International Mosque.

The historical Kyonbok Palace, Korea

Shopping for brooches at Nam Daemun market

Nam Daemun market.. let's go shopping! :)

Seoul City

Having fun at Lotte World -
At the 'Stairway to Heaven' film scene... one of my favourite Korean films.. huhu! :)

The beautiful Seoul International Mosque

Overall... I had fun during the trip.... though I was a bit upset cause was not able to shop more in Beijing. We bought lotssss of interesting things for ourselves and souvenirs for friends. :) Wish we could spent more time in both places as I'd like to shop more!! hehe.. and most of all I wish I could go skiing in Seoul.... *sigh!* :(
