Beijing & Seoul Trip

I had such a wonderful time in Beijing & Seoul! :) This is our belated 8th anniversary trip :) Made lots of friend in the group - a couple from Ampang, 2 wonderful career ladies from petronas, a family of 8 and 10 staff of Kuwait Finance. Weather are cold.. but it's a nice change compared to the current hot weather in Malaysia.

Beijing is historically interesting! We had great fun travelling with our Chinese tour guide Mr Lee a.k.a Ali :) And he can speak Malay! Or rather.. Indon language.. so we can understand him very clearly :) Among my favorite places we visited are..

The Great Wall of China (of course!) - we had fun climbing the wall!

The Nan Dou Ya Mosque (alhamdulillah... we were given the chance to pray in this 5000 yrs old mosque).

The Summer Palace (the lake were frozen! We had fun walking on the ice!)

The Forbidden City

Wax Museum

Panda Zoo

Naik beca in Hutong.... seronok!! :)
Kesejukan masa berbeca! :D

Shopping.. shopping.. shopping... hehe..HRC Beijing

Shopping for China Silks!

And more shopping malls which I can't recall the names :)

Seoul on the other hand is more modern. But we had the chance to visit some historical places like the Kyonbok Palace & Cultural Museum. Our Korean tourist guide is not as nice as Ali but Jeffry @ Giraffe is not so bad.. he made our trips very organized and arranged for us to have our Dzuhur prayer at the Seoul International Mosque.

The historical Kyonbok Palace, Korea

Shopping for brooches at Nam Daemun market

Nam Daemun market.. let's go shopping! :)

Seoul City

Having fun at Lotte World -
At the 'Stairway to Heaven' film scene... one of my favourite Korean films.. huhu! :)

The beautiful Seoul International Mosque

Overall... I had fun during the trip.... though I was a bit upset cause was not able to shop more in Beijing. We bought lotssss of interesting things for ourselves and souvenirs for friends. :) Wish we could spent more time in both places as I'd like to shop more!! hehe.. and most of all I wish I could go skiing in Seoul.... *sigh!* :(
