Rezeki 25 Ramadhan

There are a few interns in the IT Core Banking department now and I am quite close with some of them. They actually remind me of myself decades ago... Fresh and innocent face eager to learn all about corporate world... Huhu. I did my practical traning with IBM Malaysia. The IBM office was in Taman Tun then. How excited I was to be chosen to do my practical there! Terasa glam sangat.. Haha! Those young and carefree days... How time flies... *sigh!*

Anyway, these interns in IT Core Banking.. they are about the age of my nephews... So it feel funny when they call me 'kak' :D Yes, I feel OLD but it would be 'weirder' if they addressed me as 'aunty'... Or worst 'makcik'  Lol!!! :,D 

This week is their last week in Core Banking and 2 of them gave me these today :

18th Ramadhan rambling

What dya know?! It's already 18th of Ramadhan! How time flies! Have you guys prepared baju raya for your kids and family? This year, kami tak tempah baju raya haha! Will be wearing the orange baju that Along sponsored for Farhan and Mai's wedding recently (yeap! My Along sponsored our baju for that special event... Thanks Along. Love ya!). Well, ada la juga beli some new baju for the kids as addional... Buat syarat beli gak baju raya haha! 

Anyway, today these things were delivered to me.

 

Thank you Haji Azhar for the Algerian dates! And thank you Maybank Islamic for the raya packets!! Dah warm up sedikit semangat raya ni haha! ;)

Meanwhile, let us all try to do our best to make the remaining days of Ramadhan work to our advantage! May we find the night of Lailatul Qadr which is the most blessed nights of the year!

Visiting IZ

Nani and her son, Syakir came to my house yesterday to deliver probably about 2kgs of Ajwa Kurma from Madinah. They were not for me but for our dear friend, I.Z. If you read my previous post you would already know that I.Z was diagnosed with cancer stage 3 and has just finished her chemo therapy and will be continuing with radiotherapy soon.

I.Z has been practising eating 7 pieces of ajwa kurma on daily basis... And it was so sweet of Nani to remember this fact and ordered the kurma with her sis, Kak Yang who went to umrah recently. This is why I LOVE my TKC sisters tau... They are so suwittt!!! ❤️

Anyway, today, I went to visit I.Z. My previous visit was just a touch-and-go stop... Also to drop ajwa kurma that I bought for her for her chemo therapy supplement ;) Could not stay long then as she was still week under the chemo effect. Now that she was done with chemo... Boleh la lepak2 sat borak with her. She looks good and strong, alhamdulillah. So positive and strong this brave lady! Really, really admire her spirit!!

Pean's eldest's wedding

Among my TKC sisters, Farehan @ Pean was among the first got hitched :) So it wasn't really a surprise right when she was the first who got 'menantu' in our batch :) Last weekend we were invited to Pean's daughter's wedding... and of course it turned out as another 'gathering' for our batch :D

Well, congrats to Pean and Lutfi dapat menantu :) And to the bride and groom - Alia and Fikri, congratulations... semoga bahagia hingga ke Jannah ;)
