Last minute packing

Am home early. Need to pack for my trip to Hanoi tomorrow!

Today, I settled a few things like... bought travel insurance for this trip (Just RM25 per head after staff discounts) and later went to KL Sentral - to Kak Ayu's money changer shop to get some USD and Vietnam Dong. Thanks to Kak Ayu... the manager of her shop gave me small changes.... wahhh... best la nak sopping!! :) The FS-HP Contra project is still in SIT progress. Alhamdulillah.. the homebranch transactions are balanced. So next would be testing on the IBT transactions... ni yg maleh ni! Masa nak cuti ada plak kerja pending!! :P Nasib kau la Labu.... tunggu makcik balik bercuti ya!? :D

Next.... packing time!!! Our taxi will come to fetch us at around 4am (mak aiiii.... pagi nya!) as our flight is at 6.30am tomorrow morning. So Kids... behave while mommy and daddy not around eh?! This would be mommy and daddy's belated 11th wedding anniversary trip :) Kasi chance ek? ;)

Farewell lunch at Rebung Restaurant

Been so busy with the "FS contra with HP accounts" project! I had to redo all the programs as the functional specification is changed again... :(

Yesterday, all of us at 4th floor, Tower A, Dataran Maybank went to lunch at Rebung Restaurant.. which is very near our office... we had farewell lunch for our x-boss, Encik Nazrin. So everyone just walked to the restaurant.... dekat aje maa.. :) Rebung Restaurant belongs to 2 famous person - the famous celebrity Chef Ismail and the famous + handsome Malaysian astronaut, Dr Syed Muzaffar :) I was really excited to go there.... hoping the handsome fellow would be there... tapi ceh... wishful thinking! :D But Chef Ismail was there.... friendly and talkative as ever :)

The last meeting...

Today, En Nazrin... who has been my boss for 8 years... called all of us for a 'meeting tergempaq'! Boss dah officially transfered to eGL department... and we are now officially under Core Banking with Ms Joreen as our new boss. It was considered our last meeting with En Nazrin. Boss bagi macam2 nasihat, pesanan, ect..... tapi yg sedih nya... belum apa2 lagi boss dah nangis... (he even left the room for a while to control himself) we all ni apa lagi... terharu sangat..... macam nak join nangis jugak!! Tapi masih mampu control cun... hik hik. But really! Sedih tenguk boss cakap macam tu.... :( He's one of the best!! One of the most sporting boss ever!! We'll definately miss you boss... :(

The plan is... we are going to have 'makan-makan' with En Nazrin on 22nd Jan at Rebung Restaurant (Yesssssss!!! I've been wanting to taste the food in Rebung!!! Harap our angkasawan - Dr Syed Muzaffar will be there!! ) and later 'family day' (date and location will be discussed soon).

It's difficult to imagine us working under a new boss. It's gonna be lots of changes definately! En Nazrin said he wasn't sure if we will be moving to Menara again... it's all up to our new boss, Ms Joreen. Kalau lah kena pindah ke menara.... I can imagine some changes in my life such as keluar rumah nak pergi kerja sure kena awal lagi.... Tapi parking kat sana susah?!!... so may be I have to catch the bus? If so... kena catch the 6.30am bus... mak aiii!! lepas subuh tuu!!! And balik of course cannot balik at 5.45pm sharp (that's the trend in Menara... so I was told!). Say I'll leave the office around 6pm... pergghh... traffic area tu teruk gilerrr!! So back to public transport lah... bus again... errr... let's say dapat naik bas around 6.15pm... sampai rumah kul bape ek?? Malam kena ajar the kids as usual (who else gonna teach them if not yours truly!).... aiyooo.... just thinking about it make me so stressed!!!! :(

Hmph! I'll just face one day at a time lah.... will think about it later when 'the day' came when Ms Joreen forced us to pindah to Menara!!! :P

Mommy's 'lil girl is now 10!!

This morning.... when everybody was busy getting ready to work/school... the reminder of my handphone beeped loudly alerting everyone that something is happening today. "Whose birthday is today?" Izzaty asked... and a few seconds later she shouted... "MEEEEEE!!!!!!" :D Alamak..... mentang2 her birthday party is over... lupa la pulak the real date!! :)

Happy birthday darling girl!!! Mama loves you soooo much!!!!! *muahh!!!* Ayah and mama kissed birthday girl and she smiled happily :)

Wow.... cepat je dah 10 years old anak mama nih! :) How time flies!! I felt like it was just yesterday when I hugged my first baby and brought her home in our mini red kancil from SJMC after being discharged from maternity ward. And Izzat is now 7!! Wow... so fast!! Besar2 dah anak mama! I pray to Allah so that my kids will grow up nicely to be anak soleh dan solehah, anak2 yang cemerlang dunia dan akhirat..... Aamin! Semoga Allah memberi berkat atas segala2nya..... Aamin :)

Izzat and Wafa wink ;)

Alhamdulillah.... the day after I went to SKBB to complain about my kids not being in the same school list... later that evening, Izzat came home telling me that he is now in 2 Cekal(1) class. That means... he will remain in the old school... just like his sister. Gooooddd!! Problem settled!! So I guess.... lupa kan aje lah angan2 nak hantar anak ke sekolah baru yg cantik tu.. *Grin* :D

Anyway, syukur alhamdulillah.... my kids are settling nicely at school and adjusting quite well to their new schedule. I also noticed that Izzat makin rajin tulis diary nowadays :) I read his diary (he let me... betul!! Tak tipu... :) Bukan curi baca tau!) today, ada cerita pasal Wafa. Huhuuuu.... I think someone has a secret admirer!!! :D Wafa is my friend - Nor Mina's eldest daughter. Quite chubby and bigger size than my little Izzat. The first time they met was during their taekwando class last weekend. And naughty Izzat dok ejek dia 'gemuk'.... ishhh.... tak baik tau Izzat nih! So on the first day of school, I saw her and told her 'Kalau Izzat kacau Wafa... bagitau Aunty! Nanti Aunty rotan dia!'. But I guess... I didn't have to say anything... Wafa is a big girl... she can take care of herself :) Instead of being bullied by Izzat... my guess is... she is now bullying Izzat :D Coz dalam diary izzat tulis "Aqua (that's what he called Wafa) tu suka cubit pipi Izzat. Kenapa ya?" And he complained to me that "dia tu asyik ikut Izzat je mama masa tunggu bas kat sekolah agama!!" Emm.... nape ek??? *wink* ;)

First day of school 2009

This year... I took one day leave on first day of school... ingat nak handle bayar yuran, ect lah! Kids pun dah besar... tak yah la cuti lama2. End up... rupanya tahun ni tak yah bayar yuran! La! Pesal tak bagitau awal2... tak yah ambil cuti langsung kalau macam tu! :) But well... I do love watching the kids on their first day of school...:) Maklum la.. masa tu uniform baru lagi... kasut cantik lagi.. bag pun all brand new.. cantik dan bersih lagi.. pendek kata all clean and smart lah on the very first day morning!! :) I sent the kids to school... (I love sending and jemput them to and from school!). Izzaty is on the morning session and Izzat is on the noon session. Izzaty looks so smart and comel in her tudung and prefect uniforms :)

When I was at school that morning I learnt that the new school (SKBB2) will be opening soon and some kids had been identified to be transfered to the new school based on their address (supposedly lah!).... and these kids are moved into a special class. They now have kelas Cekal 2, Amanah 2, Tekun 2 and so on! I saw some of Izzaty's friends names were called and those kids were being transfered to their new classes. Alhamdulillah... Izzaty selamat. And I thought my area ni patut tak yah la kena pindah kan. Only after I fetched Izzat in the evening, I knew that Izzat was sent to the 2 Cekal 2 class. Whatttt????!!! How come?? Now Izzaty's name will remain in old school and Izzat's in new school?? Macam mana diorang buat kerja nih?? Mula la nak marah kan! And I only applied one day leave! Geram betul la makcik!!! Malam tu tak boleh tido dibuatnya!

So today... I took half day in the afternoon and went to the SKBB office to settle thing. Punya la ramai parents yg facing the same problem rupanya! The person in-charged of Hal-Ehwal-Murid, Pn Rohana told us that they will make sure that siblings will be in the same school (baru or lama doesn't matter... but for sure same school... so she said lah). So... I said.. "Tak kisah la! Sekolah baru pun boleh lah... cantik what that school!). Yg tak puas hati tu.. camana area Teluki ni boleh dihantar ke sekolah sana tu? I thought that's SKBB punya area???!! :P Pagi tadi from the office pun I dah call SKBB to check on Izzat's status... katanya his name is not the new school list. Then how come he is in Cekal 2 class????? Bab ni yg saya tak puas hati sebenarnya. And Puan Rohana kata 'Ohh.. ada lah kesilapan tu... kami ni tak pefect'. Fine lah... so patut boleh la Izzat go back to the original class kan? But Noooo...... Puan Rohana said dia akan kumpulkan all the 'rayuan' from parents (so I ni kira 'merayu' case gak lah ni ye?!) and discuss this matter during a special meeting (oh pulak!). So Izzat will remain in 2C2 class.... until further action. Whatever lah... so long as these kids are not being neglected acedemically. And she assured me 'On tak Puan!! Kami tak akan buat macam tu'... so okay lah! Tak kisah la sekolah mana pun... asalkan budak2 tu belajar.

Later, on the way back with Izzaty... we decided to 'tinjau' this new school. Wahh.. cantik you!! Much, much better than SKBB.... very modern looking and definately nicer design :) Eh, nyesal lak tak insist to 'merayu' for the new school instead of merayu to remain in the old one!! :P

Happy 2009 - Kids birthday party!

Happy 2009 everyone! 2008 brought lots of memories to us but now that it's ended... we had a great beginning of 2009!! :) 01.01.2009 my baby, Izzat is now 7 years old! :) Happy birthday darling!! Mama loves you sooooooo much!!!! *muahhh!* Since Kak Long Izzaty's birthday is on 8th Jan and she is requesting to have a birthday party as presents for doing well in the previous year final exam... we chose to have the party on 1st January.

Izzaty invited the kids around the blocks (anak jiran2 ku) and some classmates of hers. It was my first experience to be an event manager.... hehehe. Buat alhamdulillah laa... I thought it went well :) The kids had fun!!! ( I think so laa.. hehe).
