Rumah Mahabbah is a warehouse initiated by a group of lovely ladies who collected used goods to be contributed to poor and underprivileged people. A good friend of mine, Lizah Ali is one of those ladies who actually manage the group. She teaches those underprivileged children who could not read by organizing classes at night (most of them are sponsored (transport and education materials) by generous people... masyaAllah... alhamdulillah... bagus nya mereka mengejar pahala akhirat!).
Every Ramadhan, they organize a bazaar that would contribute used clothes (all in good conditions.. and some even new clothes that they bought specially for this event) to those underprivileged people. They have been doing this for a few years and some of my Kurshian friends have been actively involved helping Lizah during Ramadhan bazaar. This year, yours truly finally got the chance to take part in this charity work...

325 families came to this masjid for this event. About 50 volunteers and hundreds of donors. MasyaAllah... what a gratifying experience!
Kaunter pendaftaran. These people are supposed to register first... then they were given coupon that could be used to 'buy' those used clothes. Some eligible fakir and asnaf were given coupons for beras.

MasyaAllah... what a gratifying experience! Thank you Lizah for for providing avenues for us to 'berkhidmat' :D Hopefully next year boleh join lagi.... insyaAllah...
