Update on kids

There were 2 special occasions happened last weekend. 1st was KUMON Bukit Sentosa ASHR award ceremony on Saturday evening. It was a small ceremony... but it meant so much to the kids. Izzaty and Izzat received their gold medal for Maths subject. Well.... it's the same medal that they got from the ASHR at Berjaya Times Square last year (refer here )... they had to return the medals to Ms Jaya just for this special occasion. I did not go to this ceremony as usually only students were invited. But Izzaty told me some parents did come.... oh well... tak pe lah.. I got other thing to do anyway. And I thought there's nothing new or any surprises.

But I was soooo wrong!!

The kids came back at around 6.30am. Izzaty muncung aje... whilst Izzat smiling broadly... why ah?? Ohh.. rupanya Izzat got bronze medal in English subject. Eh?? Seriously?? How did that happen??? hahaha... seriously I did not expect that! Izzaty was so jealous! She was like "Camana Izzat boleh dapat?? Padahal gambar Izzaty yg kena tampal kat dinding English section!". She was so bengang... terus mandi and buat Kumon homework.. hahaha... Mama no komen... *LOL*.

On Sunday, Izzaty attended her first ever taekwando grading test! This time... I went to see her in action.... for moral support :) There were a few of Sir Nordin's students sitting for this test.... and Izzaty and 4 other boys (she was the only girl) were chosen as the first batch to perform the test. Alhamdulillah, she did quite well.... she got double promotion infact! Alhamdulillah. She is now a yellow belt taekwando girl :) You can read Sir Nordin's blog on this occasion by clicking here. Bravo girl.... mama is so proud of you! And Izzat?? Tak mau sambung ke taekwando?? ;)

The kids got their 1st exam result and alhamdulillah.... I thought they did quite well. Izzaty, alhamdulillah... maintained 1st position in class (she is the only person in her class who scored 5As in the test... alhamdulillah), whilst Izzat got 13th place in his class... I thought he did quite well... considering he was from class "B" and he managed to get 5As (only 15 persons got 5As in his class). Alhamdulillah... mama is so proud of both of you!! Well done kids!! *muah!* *muah!*
