Day 3 - Hong Kong!!

On our last day in Disney's Hollywood Hotel... before checking out... sempat lah rombongan Cik Kiah ni bersiar2 kawasan sekitar hotel dan berposing maut... hehe... :)

Waiting for our transport after checking out from Disney's Hollywood hotel to another hotel in Hong Kong. At first we wanted to use the shuttle bus and later the MRT to Hong Kong... but the queue for the shuttle bus was incredibly looooongggg!! Probably because it's Sunday.... *sigh!*. So we decided to get cabs (3 cabs mind you! utk ahli2 rombongan cik kiah nih!) to go to the new hotel....

Leaving the Disneyland compounds in a taxi... Good bye HK Disneyland.. Hope to be here again one day!! InsyaAllah... ;)

Baru sampai our new hotel in Hong Kong... very cozy! :)

Only one out of 4 of our booked rooms are ready at the hotel... so we decided to go lepak2 at the Victoria Harbour... sambil makan roti and biskut dibawa khas dari Malaysia while waiting for all the rooms to be ready! :D

When all our rooms are ready.... we took a short rest, solat, ect. before heading to the ferry port... our next destination... THE PEAK!! :)

Long queue to get into the tram.... haiyaaa.... :( Kesian wargamas kena queue jugak... huhu!

Finally!!!! Got on the tram!!! pheww!!Beautiful scenery along the way when we were on tram.... awesome!

From the peak.... we took taxis (decided not to take the tram sebab tak larat dah nak queue again! huhu!) to the Hong Kong Islamic Centre. Unfortunately, our taxi driver did not know where this place is... so he dropped us somewhere 'near' that place.... and we had to do 'some' walking to get to this place.... but fortunately.. the place where we were dropped was near kawasan perkuburan orang Islam... (very small area!).. and the Imam (I assumed! Or may be person responsible utk mandi mayat?) was kind enough to give us some guidance on how to get there... alhamdulillah....

Finally!! We found the Islamic Centre! :)

Yeay!! halal food at last!!! We missed eating rice... huhu! After 2 days of maggies and breads... the thought of eating rice was indescribable!!! :)

Delicious... yummy... halal Chinese food!! :)

Excited and very, very happy to eat proper meal!!!!! :)

We had to make sure to be back in our hotel by 8pm as we were so looking forward to see the "Symphony of Light" showing nightly on both sides of Victoria Harbour.... and we especially booked rooms in that hotel... because we could enjoy the spectacular show from our harbour view rooms!! Awesome!!!! The symphony music was nice... and the light show..... wow... really something that I would not forget!! :)

That night... walau pun kepenatan... kami nekad jugak to go out... to see the famous Hong Kong night market...

Wah happynya Izzat... mana taknye... he made us promise to buy something for him at the night market! :P

Basically, the night market was quite similar to Malaysia's Petaling Street China town. Even things sold here are about the same things sold in the Petaling Street. So... I end up not buying anything... huhu :( Hubby and Saadan bought new suitcases though... murah laa... so I guess... okay laa!! :) But we did buy something for the kids... (biasalah budak2 ni.. selagi tak dapat something sure monyok aje... aishh!!) My parents in law in the other hand.... sakan bersopping!!! They bought lots of t-shirts and souvenirs for family and friends.... good for them :)

Hongkie polices are handsome, eh? Teringat cerita Hong Kong 'Police Academy' which I used to love during my secondary school days.. LOL!

Kesian Izzat... dalam kepenatan... still had to do his Kumon homework in Hong Kong.
Ni la tugas mama yang paling mencabar during all trips!! That is to persuade my kids to do their Kumon Homework when they're having so much fun holidaying!! Not an easy task... I tell you!! Kalau homework tak siap.... Ms Jaya marah.... eiii... lagi naya!! Tak kuasa mama nak layan!! :P
