Aunty Aini's Garden Cafe

After sending Bibik to the airport, we decided to have lunch at Aunty Aini's Garden Cafe which is located at Nilai. Nilai and Sepang is not that far... so okay lor :) May be you guys haven't heard of Aunty Aini's... but it's quite famous actually! Even the famous Gordon Ramsey and Anthony Boudain love this place during their visit here - it was on TV okay! Don't play play! :D I've heard about it on AFC channel, read about it on the webs (so many bloggers promoting this place! I tell you!) and my SRKDIan friends often lepak2 here! Heard so many nice things about this place. So I have to experience it myself!

How to go there? Easy, peasy... just go to the old Nilai town and head to Sepang.... kena lalu kawasan kampung2... then you'll find this place ;) It's like a secret garden! Very2 lovely place to be! :)With the help from my phone GPS and Zita's guide, we managed to find this place. Parked our car opposite the road. Be careful when you cross the road.... laju2 kereta sini!

Aunty Aini's 'Secret' Garden is very, very lovely.... :) Am sure kalau datang malam romantik kan? :) When we reached there.... belum ramai lagi yang datang... but 'pondok2' has been reserved and fully booked! So if you guys want to do a gathering at the pondok... better give them a call earlier to make reservation of one of those pondoks.

THE MENU - Local and Western.... macam2 ada :)

So what did we eat?? With the kampung environment... of course le kami pilih masakan kampung! Baru ada umphhh!! :)

Daging salai masak lomak (of course! Eden oghang nogoghi! Paberet dish den tuh! And it is one of Aunty Aini's signature dish... so rugi tak choose this one! Pedas tapi sedapppp!!!), sambal petai sotong, sup ayam kampung and kailan masak ikan masin... yummy!! Love them all!!!

Ohhh... when you're here, MUST try the aiskrim tapai!!! (right) - sedaappppp sangatt2!! YUM! YUM!! The kids are not that adventurous... so they requested the normal ice-cream (left).... ceh! town kids! :P

The lovely Aunty Aini herself came to our table and borak2 :) Sangat p2eramah! :) She asked where we were from... and once she knew that I'm originally a 'Pilah Girl'.... ohhh, bukak dah bahaso nogoghi kami!! kih kih! Best amek donga dio speaking nogoghi... very, very authentic!! I LIKE!!! ahak!

Last pose before leaving Aunty Aini's. We sure had fun! Harga pun sangat2 berbaloi! :) Tak rugi datang dari jauh!! :) One day, insyaAllah kami datang lagi - hopefully dengan ahli2 keluarga yang lain :)
