Merdeka Raya Celebration

Selamat Hari Merdeka negara ku Malaysia!! 

From a very proud Malaysian... hehe :)

Anyway, I had a busy day this Merdeka Day. Not that I was involved in the Merdeka parade or anything... but just busy beraya cum beropen house.... hahha! Oh yeah... we are definitely still into it... after all it's still Syawal, kan? :) So kira Merdeka Raya celebration la ya :)

Did I tell you my sis Na, has moved a new house in Cyberjaya? Her new house is soooo awesome! I tell you! On the Merdeka Day, there was a 'majlis doa selamat' cum open-house cum house warming... (all in one) at her new house. So we, the kay-poh-chee sisters turut berkampung at her place... kih kih :D

Pagi2 sudah sampai di Cyberjaya... breakfast sama2 ;) Ada nasi lemak, pulut kuning with rendang and sambal, kuih-muih, ect. Ini baru menu breakfast okeh..:P

Izzat bersantai lepas kenyang breakfast... haha! Can you guys see the pool outside? Man... the kids just can't wait to terjun inside the pool... I tell you! 

There's a cozy gazebo on the other side of the house... a really cool place to lepak!

My cousin, Abang Li leading the doa selamat.... thank you Abang Li for spending a few hours of your busy schedule with us...  MasyaAllah, his 9 kids (in whites and pinks) are so adorable and well behaved! Sejuk mata memandang....

The Open House starts in the afternoon until 5pm. At 1pm, we left the house to go to Bandar Enstek... it's just about 1/2 an hour drive from Cyberjaya. My nephew, Farhan drove his mom car, and off we went to Bandar Enstek to visit Izzaty :)

Happy to meet her cousins, and dapat makan nasik kenduri (tapau from Mak Teh's house... thank you Mak Teh!! hehe). Farhan and Danisyah's first trip to TKC ;)

Did not stay long in Bandar Enstek as Izzaty had to go for band practice. By the time we reached Na's place again that evening, lotsa visitors were there enjoying the food :)

Ada soto, mee kari, nasi minyak (kot? tak ingat!), roti jala and some other kuih muih, kambing golek pun ada.... pergh!! Sangat2 meriah!

Among yang hadir... my good old friend, Sury :) Sury was Na's friend in STF and became my good friend and house-mate when we were studying together in UMKC.

Lots of people came. Sampai malam pun ada lagi yang hadir... alhamdulillah, moga murah rezeki, Na and family. 

By 5pm, the kids sudah tidak tahan mau terjun itu swimming pool...

The boys terjun dulu... the girls following later... haha!

Went home after Maghrib jemaah prayer together with my family, alhamdulillah. Thank you  Na, Saadan and family for such a lovely time at your place :)
