Pasar Kemboja in Malaysia

Months back, when I told my friend, Dr Aniza that I'll be visiting her hubby's hometown, Parit Buntar often now as Parit Buntar is the nearest town from Izzat's school... She recommended me to go to Pasar Kemboja in Parit Buntar.

That was how I got to know about this market. What is so special about Pasar Kemboja? I googled about it and found out like Dr Aniza told me... Mmg happening and murah barang2 yg dijual di sini! Macam best jer kan?! But the thing is... Pasar Kemboja is only held on Friday and Monday. So kalau nak pergi, mmg kena cuti one extra day... The best would be extending my weekend trip till Monday. So yeah... We extended our trip to the North... So that we'd be able to see this market...

The new location of Pasar Kemboja.. Now in Bandar Baru, Kedah.. Sempadan Parit Buntar, Perak and Nibong Tebal, Penang. 

Sampai2 jer destinasi... cari breakfast dulu.... cek lapaq! Tak bekfes lagi... :D

Pekena nasi lemak diraja at a nearby restaurant. Kaler kuning nooo nasik dia.... Terbaekkk!!! ;))

Perut dah diisi baru berkobar nak explore the market! Jom tinjau2 apa ada di sini... Macam2 ada... Mostly barangan dr Vietnam and mmg peniaga2 mostly orang melayu champa dari kemboja...

Izzaty wanted to buy baju kurung for asrama.... Oh man... Many, many choices... I tell you!! Baju kurung without beads mostly RM50 and below. 

Merempah ruah pilihannya... Huhu!

These jubah are only RM50! Damn cheap!

 I kinda like these cotton jubah... Suwitt sangat tapi malas gosok punya pasal x beli pun :P

Kain cotton RM48 before tawar nya... Can tawar one!!! Esp kalau beli banyak!

 

Cotton kurungs with lace and beads - RM85 only! I bought the very same design last year in KL for RM120! Tu pun dah murah time tu okay.... KL price le kan... :P Showed my SRKDIans frens these photos and Mimi asked me to buy 2 of those for her kids. By the she asked me to buy... I've already left this shop and ronda2 somewhere else... so told her that I'd buy the baju for her later... sebab cek sibuk cuci mata dulu... hahaa!

More and more options at the Pasar Kemboja....

 

Jubah lycra pun ada... 

 

This blouse in black is quite nice! I like it actually... tapi kena pakai inner la pulak kan... cek malas betoi part2 ni...

Pilih kak.... pilih mana satu idaman hati... shopping baju raya nooo... ;)

 

Tudung bawal ni pun sangat comel! Izzaty suka... told her jap lagi kita beli... jom jalan dulu... 

lots and lots and lots of options of tudung lagi... 

Not to forget... telekung lycra yang berkaler2 ni... trend terkini la konon kan...

Dari yang plain lycra... hingga lah yang berenda2... price ranging from RM40+ and above... (depending on  the type of lace used).

 

Adik manis ni jual telekung lycra... sebab dia comel, I decided to buy from her... hahaha

Wanted to buy a few telekong for my mom, mom-in-law, nenek and aunty...

 

 Pilih yang renda mahai sket lah.... sebab nak bagi orang kan.. this one kalau beli satu RM75 tapi kalau beli 5 dapat RM56... so beli 5! :P

 

Showed this one to my sis Na... terus member booking this one!

Oso bought some kain pelekat for father in law and mr hubby... 

 

Izzaty tolong choose for ayah and atuk :D 

Now turn Izzaty lagi cari baju kurung cotton... 

 

Looking for size S - ada a few yang cantik... but wait...

This one macam baju Liana. This one baju Haza. This one baju Anis. 

So which one laaa you want to buy? X mo boria punya pasal...

ended up satu baju jer yang dia nak beli :P

Tengah sibuk2 pilih baju kurung for Izzaty. Suddenly, hujan turun dengan lebatnya! It was extremely hot before that... tetiba jer hujan! And sibuk la peniaga2 beransur2 selamatkan baju jualan mereka... 

And yours truly pun lintang pukang pegi cari balik kedai yang jual baju kurung lace and beads tulis RM85 tadi to buy baju for Mimi's daughters. Alhamdulillah... dalam hujan tu cek sempat beli 2 baju ni sebelum peniaga tu simpan baju dia...

Dapat lah tawar baju ni jadi RM80 sepasang.... so damn cheap.... huhu! Rezeki Mimi laaa... huhu!
Conclusion from this trip - X yah pi Vietnam laaa... beli kat sini je pun dah murah... hehe!

Memandangkan hujan yang semakin lebat, kami pun berteduh dulu di bawah one of those khemah and later decided to go home terus... 

On the way home, lalu depan sekolah Izzat. Membuak2 la rindu mama pada si Izzat... huhuhu! 

Bye Izzat... we'll see you in 2 weeks ya...

Alhamdulillah, our journey home to the south was quite smooth. Lots of cars but traffic was smooth. 

Tinggal la Kak Long Izzaty sorang di rumah for now...
