On my 4th day in Hawaii, we went hiking! Believe it or not... hiking! Never in my life I'd imagine going hiking you all during my travelling trip Lol!
So yeah, for the first time ever, we went hiking. In Hawaii! A history that worth recorded here Lol! The trail was quite slippery as it was a raining season in Hawaii. Quite scary to imagine kalau jatuh... eee nauzubillah la kan jatuh kat negara orang. But seriously, I saw a few minah and mat sallehs on crutches - when asked, they said they slipped during hiking... so you can imagine how scared I felt throughout the hiking trip. Had to take our steps really, really carefully as mmg slippery giler trails dia. full of mud and all.
Yours truly before the hiking start...
That hiking stick bawak from Malaysia okay... haha!
Gigih sungguh la kan... Lol!
With Mr Hubby who was equally excited to hike ;)
All right.... let's go... we can do this! :D
Slippery... need to be extra careful there!
Love, love, love the scenery along the way!! So cantik!!! Especially those facing the ocean!
Muddy tracks! Super slippery. But some mat sallehs selamba je lari2 on this slippery tracks.
A few waterfalls around here..
And more breathtaking ocean views
We finally reached the river. We were supposed to cross the river to continue our hike, but the river flow is too fast and dangerous for us to do so.
Makanya... we just sat there and take a break.
Snacking time! :)
See the muddy shoes and pants... huhuu!
We watched an Indian couple crossing the river. They were from the other side of the river. Was told that they crossed to the other side the river yesterday when the current wasn't too bad and spent a night camping here. Today, the fast current of the river made it difficult for them to cross the river.
It began to rain, hence the plastic rain coat cover...
A few of us were trapped here - not able to cross the river.
The Indian couple finally managed to get to this side of the river safely.
Okay lah... hujan pun dah stop... jom balik! It's 4 km to the river, and another 4 km back to the entrance.
Extra muddy and slipper track after the rain..
We made it back to the entrance safely!!! Alhamdulillah...
Who would have thought eh... we went hiking for the first time in Hawaii! lol! Well, I survived 8km hike! Not bad la kan for a first timer and an ajuma level... haha! :D
Look at our shoes... haha!
Navigating our way home...

First thing we did when we reached our rented apartment, wash the shoes! Lol!
