Day 10 - Exploring Cesme

On our 10th day in Turkey, we explored the city of Cesme, a Turkish resort town located along the Argean Sea.
It's also a very windy city I guess cause Trip Advisor said 'Cesme attracts all types of surfers - wind surfers, kite surfers, surf surfers'... hmmm... Windy City like Chicago may be? 😉

Overlooking the harbor is Cesme Castle, a restored military fortress - now an archeology museum that displays many historical items like old coins, ect.

Entrance to the castle - of course using our Museum Pass.
We learned a bit of history of this fortress and this charming town in this castle.

Among the old coins kept in this museum.

The view of Cesme from this castle is beautiful!

Had an early lunch at one of the restaurants near the marine area...

We later decided to go to Delikli Koy, a pebbly cove beach where the kids (and their uncle) had fun collecting beautiful pebbles...
Bercanda di pasiran pantai.... gitew.... hehe.

It was our last night in Izmir. We were to catch our flight to Istanbul the next day...
Someone requested nasi lomak for dindin that night...  al maklum dia akan stay lagi lama ya in foreign country while the wife and kids were scheduled to go back to malaysia in 2 days time...
Makanya.... begini lah kejadian dinner 'cincai version'...
Laku keras ya... al maklum dah berhari2 tak jumpa nasi lemak 😋
