eGL Phase 2 goes live... FINALY!

After 2 years of struggling doing this project... it finally goes live today! Tonight, those involved in the phase 2 which is also known as the 'Core' team had to standby onsite to ensure that the new system would be running smoothly. It's about 7am now and I am still in the office after clocking in at 12 midnight.... huhu! Ngantuk giler dah nih...

Berbekalkan satu flask kopi, se'cup' maggie, and Mister Potato Crisps.... saya menjadi burung hantu yang tidak tidur malam (Well... okay, I exaggerated :P But I only slept for about an hour okay... sama macam tak tidur lah tu.. huhu!). The coffee really helped! And the maggie was a life saver as I did not eat much for dinner... and as for the Mr Potato... hmmm... I guess I am not really into junk food....
There were 5 of us in the office on standy, each representing various products from Core Banking Unit. So I guess, it was more meriah compared to the phase 1 last time :) Later at around 5.30am, free breakfast was delivered to us... yeay... Mc D breakfast!! Well, not really my choice of breakfast...(nasi lemak would be nice!! hehe... bagi betis nak peha la pulak ye :D) but I was really hungry.... so sedap aje lah :) Free somemore kan? hehe.. Eh, sapa belanja ek??? I pun tak tau.... tau makan aje... hahaha! Thanks anyway, whoever you are... you're the best!!! :)
The verdict??? I'd say it went quite well. Just a small hiccup on the JCLs error (ciss!! my boss altered the JCL!! I told him not to do so! ish ish! See.. bosses are not always right la :P) But later, when the report came out, some branches were not balanced... duh! :( But it wasn't that bad I guess. Come what may, syukur alhamdulillah.. I'm done with this project!! Phew!

I still have a few projects in my hand which are making my life gone nuts!! Bila la project2 ni nak abis... *sigh!*. 11/11/10 is just around the corner.... my leaves had been approved. Passport and visa are all in good hand.. what else? Oh yeah... packing is 30% done... tak sabar nak cutiiiii!!!!! Tapi kerja tak siap lagi.... arghhhh!!! Benci betul laaaaa.... :P

On a different note, the kids got their final exam results.... Izzat did pretty well I'd say :) Although I was quite upset with his Maths result.. but overall, I think he did okay. As for Izzaty, I am not really sure as she has not yet got all her papers. I am a bit worry as I've been so busy at work these past few months and did not monitor their studies much.... *sigh!* I know.... I have been a bad, bad mommy!! :( Even their Kumon instructor, Ms Jaya smsed me telling that Izzat is not doing his Kumon hwk properly.... Arghh... preasure nya jadi career mommy ni... :(
