Tribute to Women

When Izzaty told me that she would be performing at the Royale Chulan Hotel for an event 'Tribute to women' organised by SME Corp, I quickly messaged Germ if she had heard of the event and if there would be any table reserved for the TKC old girls. Germ is an active OGA committee member, so I was pretty sure that if there were any seats for the OGA, she would know! And I was so right!!! :D Datuk Hafsah, the CEO of SME Corp, who happened to be an old girl of Kurshians had reserved a table specially for the OGA committee members... seats were of course offered to the active committees first but I was in luck as there were 2 seats available as not all committees were available on that day ;)) so yeay... I gotto see Izzaty and her friends performed while enjoying myself catching up with some old friends ;)) The other chair was offered to my dear friend, Lady Has ;)) Has's daughter, Farisya is in the wind orchestra too... Wooooaa, syiok la kami ;)))

With the ever sporting Tan Sri Rafeah Salim, our OGA president ;) Fondly known as Kak Ah by the old girls, she is also the mother-in-law of my beloved cousin, Fazlina ;) 

Oh yes... After settling down at our table, Has and I gotto meet our girls who were ready to perform at the corner of the ballroom ;) Izzaty with her flute-mates ;))

Why la the girls chose to wear black??? Kak Ah said 'like going to a funeral!' -_-

Business forum and Hi Tea... Themed 'The Past, Present and Future'.

The event was graced by YTM Raja Zarith Sofea, consort to the Sultan of Johor. Our table was just next to the main door and red carpet... Hence, I was able to snap this pic ;))

MC for this event was the beautiful former Miss Malaysia, Yasmin Yusof ;)

The panel session for this forum comprised of 3 generations:

 YBhg Datuk Mohaini Shamsudin, Chairman and Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Maybank Assets Management

YBhg Datuk Ir. Rosaline Ganendra, Director of Minconsult Sdn. Bhd. 

And lastly, the youngest one, Puan Nadira Mohd Yusoff, CEO of Nadi-Ayu Technologies Sdn Bhd. 

 She is only 36 goodness! And soooo successful! Pretty some more! I was so inspired listening to her talk!!

(Seriously, she is even prettier in person!)

The forum was moderated by the ever beautiful Wan Zaleha Radzi... Goodness, she is so selim melim!! How did she managed to stay so tiny!?

Other than the forum, there was also a fashion show and.....

Performance by Dato' Shiela Majid. Awwww... Shiela was and still my fave local singer!!! She is so awesome!! Among the songs she sang yesterday were Lagenda, Antara Anyer dan Jakarta, aku Cinta Padamu... Oh man, all my fave songs!!!! Our table sang our heart out together with Shila! We sure had a blast!! ;))

The girls got the chance to pose with Shiela Majid...look at those happy faces!  Sheesh... Mama nya x dapat pun amek gamba ngan Shila.. Jealous tau! Huhu! 

I left the hotel around 6:30pm and OMG.... Giler punya jem around Bukit Bintang!! For some reason, my phone's waze wasn't working pulak... So no choice, redah jer lah :P Stopped by at R&R Sg Buloh for Maghrib prayer and reached home by 8:30pm. Exhausted! But alhamdulillah, I am thankful... I had an awesome time! ;))
