Scenic Cape Peninsular, South Africa - Africa Day7 Pt1

We start our adventure on our 7th day in Africa as early as 6.45am. Mr Hubby as our driver, we travelled along the scenic Atlantic coastline, along the west coast of the Cape Peninsula.

I have always wanted to experience the VW Polo or Golf. Rented a VW Polo here in Cape Town and what an amazing experience! Nak satu pleaseeeeeee....!!! :P

And the scenery along the way was AH-MA-ZING!!!! Loving this place soooo much!!!!❤️
Our first stop was Camps Bay.

Spot a bird in this pic ;)

Camps Bay is one of Cape Town’s wealthiest suburbs, famous for its luxury apartments, celebrity lifestyle and white sandy beach.
Bercanda di persisiran pantai... ;)

Continuing our journey and later stopped at the scenic seaside suburb of Hout Bay, on the Southern Atlantic Ocean.

Then we drive along Chapman's Peak - one of the most scenic coastal roads in South Africa (some say in the world!).
The route starts at the picturesque fishing harbour of Hout Bay and the climb winds steeply up to Chapman’s Point, revealing breathtaking views of the sandy bays down below, until the road reaches lower levels again at Noordhoek.

We stopped at one of the cliff-side viewpoints looking out over Hout Bay, False Bay and the Ocean to take photos and soak up the panoramic views... breathtakingly beautiful!!
There was a fire bushfire raging around the Table Mountain a week before our arrival. So as you can see in the pic, in some part of the park, trees and bushes were damaged by the fire :(

From Chapman's Peak Drive we drove down to the rural suburb of Noordhoek with its long sandy beach.
*this is a google pic*
Initially constructed during the First World War, Chapman’s Peak Drive has now implemented rock-fall protection measures that were selected on the basis of what is considered to be best international practice and consist of a half tunnel, catch fences, slope stabilisation and canopy structures. In 2004, Chapman’s Peak Drive received an excellence award for rock fall protection.

More beautiful view along the way... awesome! I would say anyone's trip to South Africa would not be completed if you don't explore the scenic Cape Peninsular beauty!! Subhanallah... cantek banget!!

Happy faces of the 3 of us :)

Mr and Mrs ;)
