Minshuku 500 Mile Lodge - Hokkaido Day4 pt4

Okay... This is my favourite part of this awsome trip to Hokkaido. On day 4, we booked to stay in a private  inn called 'Minshuku 500 Mile Lodge'. This place is so cool that I declared it was among the highlights of this trip πŸ‘πŸ˜

Minshuku 500 Mile Lodge is located about 10km from Shiraoi Town.

This private inn is two stories with a total of eight tatami (traditional Japanese bamboo mat floor) rooms in it. Rooms are available for two to eight people, and every room has a window with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean.

Loving this room of ours!

Am also loving the sound of the waves crashing on the beach that can be heard all day long... 😍

View of the Pacific Ocean from our room

We reached this place around 5pm I think and the inn's 'momma', Madame Naomi and her husband were busy preparing dinner for the inn occupants. The 5 of us had 3 separate rooms but the meal would be served at our place.

Dinner was served at 7am sharp. These Japanese are so punctual! I respect them for that!

OMG... Look at those food served on the table! 😱
And all these are just for the 5 of us! 😱

And this entire portion for just a single person 😳
Mmg berseafood galore le kami πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‚

With our 'momma' of the house, Madame Naomi who is so warm and friendly.  Her english is limited but it did not stop her to communicate with us... Such a sweet lady! 😍

Kegani Crab -Japanese hairy crab πŸ¦€
So fresh and yummeh!!! πŸ˜‹

So hairy and sexy this crab! πŸ¦€πŸ˜‚

Squid and octopus... Yumm oso πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Fresh salmon and prawn - I cannot eat these raw so I out it in the soup kasi rebus panas πŸ˜‹

This one I have no comment... I didn't eat it 😬
Tak gamak nak makan πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Look at those juicy thingy 😱😱
Mak tak sanggup makan uoulss!! πŸ˜…
This fish (dunno what fosh this is) is delicious! The salmon egg is also yummeh!

Egg toufu or something... Delicious!! πŸ˜‹

Well, let's just enjoy these gifts from the sea, all in the comfort of our cozy room 😍

The two of us were having problem finishing our portions of the food. So much food it almost hurts! A happy pain of course πŸ˜„.

That night was a free time for us. We decided to explore the onsen in this peivate inn.
This onsen is private - it has a door that can be locked for privacy but the other side of the onsen that is facing the sea has no wall... So... Terpulang le.. Kalau takut ada fishermen yg terrrrrseeat lalu and see you naked or anything.. wear something decent when you soak in the water haha! πŸ˜‚

It felt great to have a relaxing soak while gazing at the dark ocean (dah gelap daaa...). If  I knew I'd felt this nice after soaking my body in an onsen, I would have tried those in Jozankei! Mak menyesallll huhu πŸ˜–

That night, we slept on a futon - a tradional Japanese bedding comprising of quilted mattress that is usually laid on the floor.
I dunno if we got this right lol! Banyak lapis rupanya futon ni πŸ˜„ And it is actually very comfortable!!

That night, I had a good sleep with the sound of ocean as my lullaby πŸ˜΄πŸ’€
