It's our last day in Marrakech. We have booked a tour to go to Ourika Valley this morning... and later, straight to the airport. But before that.... let's ronda2 the old city of Marrakech for the last time :)
At Jemaa El Fna Square again...

Last minute buying souvenirs..
tagine pots for sale
Around 10am, off we went to Ourika Village - which is about 60km by road from the city of Marrakech. There were another Mexican couple who also stays in Riad Misria travelling with us for this trip.
Getting comfy in the MPV ;)
Let's enjoy the view along the way...
Izzat punya comment when he saw these camel "Kenapa unta tu lipat kaki dia bila duduk?" -_-
Then, we stopped here - Argan Cooperative, for a short 'botanical class' ;)
Meet our guide for the day...*sorry I forgot his name* He was giving some talk on the plants and trees that were planted at that place.
Smelling the plant - good education for the kids ;) There were origano plants, lavender, all kind of herbs, ect.
I was so excited to see the argan tree... coz from what I saw in the internet, goats like to climb on that trees to eat the argan nuts... like this one..
*googled pic*
Awesome right? This is real okay.... and Argan Tree can only be found in Morocco!!
I was so excited to see this!
Instead, I was shown to this tree...
This is an argan tree.
What? where're the goats???? -_- *mode : sedikit kecewa :P *
These ladies are processing the argan nuts to produce argan oil.
The traditional technique for oil extraction is to grind the roasted seeds to paste, with a little water, in a stone rotary quern. The paste is then squeezed by hand in order to extract the oil.
This place is quite beautiful...
Continuing our journey to Ourika Valley...
The road leading to the valley is splendid! We were able to enjoy magnificent panoramic views of Atlas Mountains, Ourika River and areas around it...
Stopped by at this beautiful place...
There was an awesome suspension bridge!
Gayat la jugak awal2 tu.... tapi lepas tu... tak yah pegang tepi2 tu dahh... hehee :D
Wah Izzat tunjuk macho tak pegang! :D
View from the opposite site of the Ourika River..
The sun was shining brightly! Nice weather!
Local kids from the nearby village walking to school...
We arrived at this small village - Siti Fatima village.
A little adventure - hiking up on the hill to go to a water fall. Thanks god we were wearing suitable shoes as the climb was a bit slippery.
Semput la jugak memanjat ni... tapi control macho :D
Halfway up... berhenti kejap beli air... *mak dah tak larat! :P*
They don't need a fridge here... guna jer air sungai tu spray at the bottles/cans of water! Sejukk... wa cakap lu ;)
Continue our walk in the mission to see the waterfall...
And here we are... at the 1st water fall. (the 2nd water fall is nicer, but we decided not to climb further and went back down after that)
Going down...
Souvenirs sold here at Siti Fatima Village.
By the time we reached down at the Siti Fatima Village, everybody was super hungry!! So, we decided to eat here..
Tables and chairs were set up along the river... nice!
Let's go eat down the river...
Olives were served as appetizer ;)
Again, we ordered the tagine! :)
The best thing about this place... you gotto to play with the water while eating!
Siap rendam kaki tu.... lol! Pastu bergurau punya pasal, stokin dia dihanyut dek arus sungai... Ish ish... macam2 la bebudak ni...
This place is really awesome! :)
Left this place after lunch... and went straight to the airport...
Alhamdulillah... it was an awesome trip! Marrakech is really something!
Bislama and so long Marrakech.... Bojour Paris!!! ;)))
