Oia - Santorini Day2 Pt1

Kaliméra Santorini! Good morning! Day 2 was another beautiful day in this beautiful Island of Santorini.
Sunrise in Villa Marily

Early breakfast that morning at the patio while watching sunrise...
Toasted tuna sandwich.... sempoiiii... haha!

We were in white today haha! Saja mengada… nak blend in dengan keputihan Santorini :D
Years ago, these two were like 'anjing dengan kucing'... gaduh ajer!
Now, alhamdulillah... they have learnt to appreciate each other ❤️

Today we went to Oia again. The sun was so bright that my kids were a bit moody to take picture… 'silau' katanya…
Zaty said she could not look up as the sun was so bright.
So we ended up at one souvenirs shop and bought sunglasses for both kids :P

Bergaya dengan sunglasses masing2... haha. By the way, the kids sunglasses cost  €10 each.
Okay laaa.. considering it's quite a good copy of Amani Exchange and Rayban :D

If you’ve ever looked at an advertisement for Santorini, chances are you’ve seen this view....
The iconic blue domed church that perfectly matches the blue sky with a backdrop of Santorini’s caldera in the Aegean Sea! It's like a dream come true when I see this view in real life! Ah-ma-zingly beaaauuutiful!!!

We saw lots of couples taking pics in wedding dresses at this area. Apparently, Santorini is one of the most famous places for wedding photography. Well, not really a surprise right… Santorini is such a beautiful and romantic city! ❤️

We took lots and lots of pics to capture this magical moment...
Breathtaking view! An abundance of iconic white and blue domed church.

Sunny day indeed. I guess it was worth buying the sunglasses for the kids... huhu.

Taking a break under the shade...

Oia is one of the most photographed places in Santorini. It's so amazingly beautiful here, subahanallah. I  was seriously considering migrating here... haha! :D
Situated on the north of the island of Santorini, it is located on top of an impressive cliff and offers a spectacular view of volcanos and island of Thirassia.

We later walked to Oia's Kastro or Skaros. These are the ruins of an old medieval fortress that dates back to the 1200s. This is apparently the most famous place in Santorini to watch sunset.
The view from this place is breathtaking! Cantik banget!!
Can see Oia's famous windmill from here… subhanallah, I could not express how beautiful this place is...

Continuing our exploration of Oia...

Then we reached at the famous windmill.
This windmill is still functioning and now part of Golden Sunset Villa - one of the most famous hotel in  Santorini.

Golden Sunset Villas is also famous as most popular site for marriage proposal… how romantic! :D

Later, we drove down to Amoudi Bay...
The bay is a small little stretch at the foot of the cliffs of Oia Town.
There's a small harbour for boats here in Amoudi Bay with several taverns/restaurants.
