On our 4th day in Switzerland, we left our cottage early that morning to go to Schilthorn.
Just a few stations of cable-car-rides away from our cottage.
Schilthorn is actually famous as it was actually a location for the 1969 James Bond file 'On Her Majesty 's Secret Service'.
The 2970 meters Schilthorn offers such panoramic views - you can see Jungfrau, Eiger, Monch and other peaks from here... such an amazing view!
One with Mr Bond :D
and more 'Bond' poses :D
View of Schilthorn from below (I think I was in the cable car when I snapped this pic).
On the way down from Schilthorn, we stopped by at Birg for more panoramic views...
There is this Skyline Walk here at the Birg to let us have a view into the abyss below.
Ada pulak yang saja gegar2kan bridge ni while I was walking on it...
When you look down the abyss below memang seram la kan... haha.
But the view is just amazing!
We were on our way back to the cable car station, when we saw a Malaysian couple with a child... senyum and bagi salam - and the lady asked 'dari mana?'.. and I answered 'Rawang'... and she was like "Eh ni Abang Ajak kan?" - asking Mr Hubby of coz.... and we were surprised of course... siapa pulak ni kan.. haha!
It is really a small world... rupanya, the lady is Mr Hubby's 2nd cousin cousin, Nadiah! Masyallah... who would have expected that we could bumped into a relative... in Switzerland!! Kat Malaysia pun tak jumpa Lol! Since they lived in Ipoh, Perak... jarang la jumpa kan... so tak cam muka tu... huhuuu.
Nice meeting you Nadiah and family! :D
View from our cable car of Birg when we were coming down to our cottage.
We later checked-out from our cottage in Grindelwald to leave for Zermatt.
Our journey to Zermatt by train was quite smooth, and once we reached Zermatt, terus checked in into our rented apartment. Cooked something for early dinner (dah lapaq masing2), and later went out to explore this beautiful tourist mountain village.
Zermatt is located at the foot of the Matterhorn - one of the world's most famous mountain. Most people come to Zermatt to see this famous mountain. The village is also a car-free zone... so memang nyaman saja di sini :)
Tomorrow morning, we would go up to the top of Gornergat to view the mighty Matterhorn :D
