In a local bus... the one wearing grey sweater was the kind lady who helped us... her name is Jiao Li. From our bus station, we took bus number 222.
We had to stand in the bus at the beginning but later managed to find seats at the back :)) Aikk... pakcik belakang tu nak join masuk gambar gak ke? :D
Walking with Jiao Li to the next bus station (changing bus - taking bus number 21). Ironically, Jiao Li can't speak English... but she really, really went out of her way to help us... masyaAllah... baiknya dia.... terharu saya!
After taking 2 buses, we finally saw the Big Wild Goose Pagoda :)
Jiao Li walking with us to the Pagoda place...
Jiao Li leave us here as she had to go home. We wanted to pay her with some money... But she refused. Subhanallah.., such a kind beautiful lady... I could not describe how grateful we were to cross path with this kind lady in this big land of China! Thank you Allah for making our journey easier by crossing path with this nice lady...
Last pic with Jaio Li before she left us.. Thank you Jiao Li. Only god can repay your kindness to us...
Enjoying the view of Big Wild Goose Pagoda :)
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayan Pagoda) is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It is located in the southern suburb of Xian City, about 4 kilometers (2.49 miles) from the downtown of the city.
Why is it call Big Wild Goose Pagoda? Well, I seached the internet and found this story...
According to ancient stories of Buddhists, there were two branches, for one of which eating meat was not a taboo. One day, they couldn't find meat to buy. Upon seeing a group of big wild geese flying by, a monk said to himself: 'Today we have no meat. I hope the merciful Bodhisattva will give us some.' At that very moment, the leading wild goose broke its wings and fell to the ground. All the monks were startled and believed that Bodhisattva showed his spirit to order them to be more pious. They established a pagoda where the wild goose fell and stopped eating meat. Hence its name.

Enjoying the night view of Bell Tower.
