Day 4: Nanjing Rd Pedestrian Walkway

On day 4, we left our hotel as early as 5:10am to catch the earliest bus to the airport. Waited for the airport bus in front of Melody Hotel. The first bus arrived at 5:40am and OH EM GEE!!! Punya lah berebut2 everyone to be on the bus!!!

Well... Good Bye Xi'an... and Hello again Shanghai!! :)

From Shanghai Pu Dong Airport, this time around... we travelled to People's Square which is located somewhere near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Walkway by metro. It costs RMB3 per head... way cheaper than the Maglev express train (RMB80).

Our hotel, 7th Heaven Hotel is located somewhere in Nanjing Road Pedestrian Walkway, above the Giordano Shop (The I ❤ SH building).

Ingat chokia jer hotel ni... tapi alhamdulillah.... it's quite nice and comfy.. :))
A small but cozy living hall :)

Izzaty's bed at the window... got slide door for privacy as well :)

And the parents got the big room :D

After checking-in, we went out cari makan first.... so the hungry!! Didn't have proper breakfast in the morning (luckily they served halal food in the flight! so dapat la isi perut sikit). And of course, we chose to eat at Yelixiali Restaurant again :))

This time around, we opt to eat rice with these dishes...
Fried diced chicken with shrimps, smoked bean curd and peanuts (RMB26 per serve)

This is Sizzling Beef with Mushroom (RMB48 per serve)

Fresh orange + strawberry and probably lemon (can't remember exactly)
All are yummy!!! Superb!! 2 thumbs up!!

Licin tak bagi can!!! :D Lapar la katakan... kih kih...

After lunch, we walked along the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Walkway. As stated in my previous post, Nanjing Road Pedstiran Walkway is Shanghai's premier shopping street. About 3.4-mile-long Nanjing Road, starts at the Bund in the east and ends in the west at the junction of Jing'an Temple and Yan'an West Street. I was expecting to find shops like those in Petaling Streets that sell cheap imitation thing...  instead I found Zara, Fovever 21, GAP, UniQlo, Dunhill, Tiffany,  Mont Blanc, and other famous brand stores -_- And their price.... lebih kurang sama jer ngan Malaysia -_-

There are so many activities going on along the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Walkway...
Exciting to explore this shopping street... teeheehee :D

A saxophonist playing tenor saxophone from 2nd floor balcony of a building :)

And a few old couples doing ballroom dancing to the saxobeat... how sweettttt :)

People is everywhere.... shopping, dancing, walking around, dating, ect, ect... so many activities going on here...

These kids are so cute. Not only they are wearing the same shirts/pants... they also have the same hair styles :) And they were smiling sweetly and waving at us when we took their pics :)) Comel :))

Night view/activities :

Somebody got a new bag! For RMB140(RM70). But I have to tell you.... Shopping China you really have to bargain... like bargaining for your life! The lady bukak mulut jer RMB300 for the bag... tried to bargain 50% less tapi dia refuse to go down... so we just turned around to go... and whatdya know... she called us back and the price terus jatuh menjunam to RMB70... and we took it :D

These ladies were dancing like poco-poco (but it wasn't poco2 step!) :) Some tourists were sporting enough to join the dance... seronok lak tenguk :) Hmm... the truth is... I also felt like joining... tapi malu... hahaha!

Night view from our room.

From our room, we could see some couples dancing on the street.... awww.... the people of Rupublic of China is so romantic :)))
