Day 6: Zigzag Bridge of Nine Turnings

Today was our last day in Shanghai. Woke early and left our hotel before 8am to visit the Shanghai Old City. Walked along the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Walkway and enjoyed watching these activities along the walkway... 

I so enjoyed watching them! Seronok betul kalau dapat join aktiviti2 sebegini early in the morning kan... 

Went to Shanghai Old Garden by Metro train... just one station and we were here... 

Shanghai Old City... lots of beautiful buildings around here...

Yuyuan Garden Bazaar... Here we found lots and lots of cheap things! It's a bit like Petaling Street where you can buy souvenirs, antiques, clothes, handicraft and much more! 

I wanted to see the famous Zigzag Bridge (also named "Nine turn Bridge") so we entered the area where the Yuyuan Garden was located... 

It's so nice inside here... lots of shops

And there it was!!! As beautiful as I ever imagined!

The zigzag Bridge of Nine Turnings, one of the most well-known sights in Shanghai, crosses an artificial lake to Huxingtang.

We had a plane to catch... so we did not stay long. Did not get chance to taste the famous tea at the Huxinting Tea house as recommended by a friend :( And did not get the chance to visit the famous Yuyuan Garden as well... :((

So long China! Who knows... one day we'll step our feet on your land again... insyaAllah :))
