After breakfast, we got to enjoy Mahanestan Raheb Historical House for the last time before checking out...
Then we discover this beauuuuutiful room at this place...
It's probably for VIP guests... kami tersesat.. hehe
The hotel lobby is decorated with X'mas tree 🌲
Checking out from Mahinestan Raheb...
Outside the hotel (malam tadi gelap sangat nak ambil gambar hehe)
After checking out, we left our lugages at the hotel and began our adventure (on foot) exploring the city of Kashan...
Kashan is a delightful oasis city on the edge of Dasht-e-Kavir (oasis of desert), one of the most alluring destinations in Iran.
There are so many interesting thing to see here.. historic bazaar, historical houses and mosques, old bathhouses, Persian Gardens, ect, ect.
Beeing here for just 1 day, we had to choose and decide the best we can cover in this limited hour 😔
First destination - Aga bozorg Mosque
This is an old mosque built in the late 18th century. It is also a school/madrasah. The mosque has been described as the finest Islamic complex in Kashan and one of the best of the mid-19th century.
One family pic before leaving the mosque
(Izzat sitting at the back... morning mood not so good to take pic...pfff teenagers! 🙄)
Then we walked to the famous Kashan Bazaar.

Then we walked to the famous Kashan Bazaar.
Bazaar of Kashan is an old bazaar in the center of the city of Kashan.. It was said to be built in the Seljuk era with renovations during the Safavid period.
The bazaar has a famous architecture, especially at its Timche-ye Amin od-Dowleh section, where a grand light well was built in the 19th century. The bazaar is still actively in use and is a few miles in total length. In the bazaar's complex beside the main bazaars, there are several mosques, tombs, caravanserais, arcades, baths, and water reservoirs that each were constructed in a different period.
After walking around the bazaar, which in itself has a cultural and architectural significance and seeing a verity of stores, selling things like Rugs, Gold, Shoes, Clothes … You Reach the TIMCHEH or Timche-ye Amin od-Dowleh section, all around there are shops selling Rugs and historical artefacts...
Check out the unique glorious ceiling of this structure!!! Ahhhmaaazinggg!!!!
It's amazing to realize how old this building is... and yet, the architecture is so phenomenal!
Mama and son enjoying the moment... (Yeah... the teenager's mood had improved...phew!😅)
Amazing architureture, don't you think so?
I just could not get enough of Persian architecture!
We stopped by at a money changer in the bazaar to change some local notes... and I was amused to see this..
😂🤣😂
Jom cuci2 mata at the bazaar...
Lots and lots of herbs... (of coz! This is middle east!)

The most expensive herbs in the world - Safron
I was told that Iranian Safron is one of the best! One of the Asterix mommies, Kak Iza 'kirim' minta tolong beli...The price was about RM10 per gram. We bought 2 of the the 4g packaging - one for Kak Iza and another one for our own keep (tatau la nak guna masak apa hahahaha😂)
They also sell a lots of this.. Rose Water 🌹
Rose water is a flavored water that made by rose petals in water - used as a component in some cosmetic and medical preparations and also to flavor food.
Later in Syiraz, we were told they also use rose water to clean the mirrors in one of the famous mosques (wait for my post later yah!)
Left the bazaar with some souvenirs in hand
Walking along the street, we stopped by to see how breads were made at this bakery shop...
we were observing their work when suddenly this man showed us the love ❤️ shape on the bread... lol!
Iranian people are friendly lot! I tell you! 😂
Wondering who these people are in the picture on the wall...
Wandering along the street, we came across a small mosque here when we heard the Zuhur azan.
Stopped by at a junction and made the kids listen the azan.
They were alerted on the difference of the azan here...
Now they know how the Syiah people azan....
Our next destination was to visit the famous historical houses here in Kashan - as advised by my Iranian colleague, Yousef. (Thanks Yousef for all your help and advices on this trip! Really, really appreciate it! 😍)
