The first famous tradional house we visited were Sultan Amir Ahmad Hammam or bathhouse.
Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse is a famous traditional Iranian bathhouse in Kashan. Built in 16th century, today the hammam serves as a tourist attraction rather than its primal purpose 😅
But seriously, this bathhouse are among the glorious remains admired by the local and foreign tourists here in Kashan 👍
The hammam is named after Sultan Amir Ahmad whose mausoleum is nearby.
We bought combined tickets which cost IRR350,000 for entrace of 3 historical houses - Sultan Amir Ahmad Hamam, Tabatabayee and Abbasian Historical House.
Individual entrance ticket was IRR 150,000.
As expected in Persian architecture, the house is decorated with amazingly beautiful tiles!
The entrance...
The bathhouse has 2 main parts - the octagonal dressing hall called Sarbineh and the hot bathing hall called Garmkhaneh.
The Sarbineh - octogonal shaped dressing hall...
I imagined it like an exclusive spa center 😅
