Day 3 pt4 - Jalan2 cari lunch @ Isfahan Bazaar 🇮🇷

By the time we finished at Syheykh Lutfallah Mosque, everybody was already hungry. So, it was time to hunt for food!! Where else to go other than the old bazaar of Isfahan.

The Ishafan Bazaar is one of the oldest and largest bazaars in thr Middle East, dating back to the 17th century. The bazaar is huge! It's like a maze... so many lorong2 that you can lost in it 😅

There are over hundreds of shops selling so many tons of different things - handicrafts, paintings, souvenirs, carpets, ect, ect! So much to see here... but we have so little time 😩

The traditional setting in the bazaar took us back in time...

Shoppers or non-shoppers... anyone would surely enjoy this bazaar...
I had so much fun feasting my eyes here...😍

Camel bone boxes

Open domes to create space and give lights in the bazaar.

We went outside of the covered bazaar, to find a nice restaurant to have lunch 🍴

And found this restaurant...

Mikhak Restaurant

We ordered fish with rice (gezellalla), tah chine barberry (the one like yellow rice cake), tandoori chicken.
Iran food is like typical middle east food... food without gravy...
I like my food with lots of gravy... huhu.😅

After lunch, sambung lagi cuci mata and exploring the bazaar...

This is the gold shops area of the bazaar...

and this is the kitchen wares area...

The herbs area..

We stopped by at this stop to buy some pistachios and apricots..

Now... cuci mata at the carpet shops pulak...

Apparently, these carpets come from many parts of Iran. We have carpets from Qum, Kashan, Syiraz, ect, ect.

Since we did not have much time in Isfahan, we decided to leave the Bazaar later and continue our journey to explore other places in Isfahan...

Leaving Naqsh-e Jehan Square...
