Today, the plan was to go to Tulum and Playa del Carmen - another 2 beautiful, famous towns in Yucatan Peninsula. This time, no tour guide or ground arrangement... all sdn bhd punya planning - using public buses haha. Baru adventure kan ;) It was an adventure indeed... dari bus stop2.. ke bus express... not to forget, lots of walking required.. huhu.
Our first destination was Tulum, where we visited Mayan ruins located on a cliff facing the breathtakingly beautiful view of Caribbean Sea <3
If you googled info on Tulum you will find that Tulum was formerly a walled city and was one of the last to be built by the Mayans. And as you can see form these pics, their archaeological sites are incredibly well preserved.
As you can see, the ruins, set above the beach, are immaculately preserved
The view of Caribbean Sea from up the cliff is absolutely breathtaking!!
Panaih lit lit you ouls... If yesterday I got 2 shades darker in Chichen-Itza, today I probably upgraded myself to 3 shades darker... huhuuu!
We left the ruins area by noon, jenuh juga jalan kaki to the main entrance of the road to get a bus to our next destination, Playa del Carmen...
A tips to those who wants to travel using public transports - do check the bus/train schedule before you plan your customized itinerary.
Next, to Playa del Carmen we go...
Located along the Caribbean Sea, Playa del Carmen, is the heart of the Riviera Maya, once a fishing village but now a cosmopolitan beach town famous of its beautiful beaches, parties and giant resorts.
We did not spend lots of time in Playa del Carmen (or rather we don't have much time left)... just wandering around exploring the town area.
Chilling at Parque Los Fundadores, where we watched a tranditional Mayan dance performance.
At the famous iconic statue at the entrance of the beach.
Cuci2 mata looking for souvenirs...
Another pit stop... Playa del Carmen Hard Rock Cafe :D
As usual, ramai la pulak yang mengirim... makanya bermula lah seisi photography for those selected tshirts..
I think Hubby bought this one...
My hubby borong satu tshirt kot... ke dua? hmm...
Me?? Nah... tak ada yg berkenan...
However, I bought these two items for my dear friend, Mariani who personally DM me minta tolong belikan these 2 items from HRC.
Cityshot glass
Magnet
Kesudahannya, sopping kat HRC jer during this trip... we later took a cab to the main bus station to get a bus back to Cancun.
Back in Cancun... lepas solat semua, kami keluar balik to the Cancun town.
Mission? Last minute souvenirs hunting. Today was our last night in Cancun... will be leaving this town early tomorrow morning to catch a flight to Mexico City... another city in Mexico to be explored ;)
Bought a few of this plates - comel dan murah ;)
Last picture of yours truly in Cancun, Mexico ;)
Adios Cancun. Mucha gracias! You have been amazing Amigo! ;)
