Exploring Yucatán Peninsula

Hola people!!

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday morning here in Yucatan Peninsular, Mexico.

Today, we had booked a ground arrangement for a tour to Chichen-Itza. Super excited to see another 7 wonders of the world! Left our apartment early in the morning and went to a place ( I can't remember the name of the place) where everyone who were joining the tour gather before boarding on a bus for this day trip.

Enjoying the scenery while waiting for the rest of the team arrived. There were lots of us... a few buses were already waiting for everyone for this trip.
We were divided into a few team - and each team were assigned to a specified bus for this full day trip.
Our bus was full - people from all over the world joined this tour. Kami je la orang Malaysia... huhu. It's a long way to Chichen-Itza - so the tour would stop at a few places along the way before we reached Chichen-Itza.

Our first stop was at a small town of Volladolid.
More like a toilet stop... beratur everyone nak gi toilet... Lol!
We have a few minutes to explore this small town before continuing our journey to our destination.
Cantik juga this town...

There's nothing much here except this famous baroque style San Gervasio Cathedral.

There were some souvenirs shops as well... but we did not shop anything as Cancun offered cheaper and more varieties of souvenirs to choose.
It's November... so I guess the spirit of 'Day of the Dead' was still happening.
Banyak le tengkorak2 gini dijual merata2...

Next stop were Hubiku, where there is an underground cenote (pronouce as say-no-tay), a natural sinkhole resulting from the collapse of limestope bedrock with a cavity in the ceiling. You can found lots of cenote here in Yucatan area.
Mr hubby went for swim in the deep crystal water of cenote while yours truly who can't swim tenguk je la... jadi mamarazzi Lol!

Lunch was served here before we continue our journey
It was buffet lunch... of course we had to choose vege related dishes only.... huhu.

There was traditional dance show as well during lunch...
everyone was entertained :)

Perut kenyang... we finally continue our journey to our destination, Chichen-Itza.

*To be continued*
