After coming back from the Hot Air Balloon ride, we were sent back to the hotel where breakfast was waiting for us. Memang lapar la kan... dalam van pun dah start makan whatever was given to us in the Discovery Balloon's breakfast pack (got mineral water, apple, bread, ect).
After breakfast, there was a mesyuarat tergempar sekejap on the balcony. We received email saying that our flight was reschedule and that would definitely upset our plan as our connecting flight would also be affected. Thanks to Mr Mahmet, the owner of Asteria Cave Hotel, who helped us to call the airline and liaise with them to solve our problem... all was good again, alhamdulillah...
Have to give 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to this hotel service.
Owner and staff are all helpful and friendly!!
Glad we booked and stay with them!! 💓
Highly recommended guys!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Later we ordered 2 Grabs to go to the Open Air Museum. The 6 of us obviously cannot fit into one car... kena la order 2 cars... huhu.
The Open Air Museum is considered one of the top attractions in Cappadocia... must go la kan.
We entered the Open Air Museum using the Museum's Card (told ya, jimat kalau beli card ni!).
This outdoor museum contains the remains of many churches carved into the stone.

The place is quite big and require lots of walking and climbing (the area is quite hilly and some of the churches' entrance require us to climb some stairs), so MIL requested to sit somewhere while the others explore this place.
Loads to look at and explore here. I didn't get the audio guide (too lazy to listen and study history lol!), but if you get it would be better so you could learn the history.
Lots of things to see and learn here. Skeletons in graves, paintings on walls, ect, ect.
The RHIzz Caln at Open Air Museum... creating memory 😍
It was a sunny day but the weather was nice... tak panas sangat, tak sejuk sangat.
After spending time a few hours here, we later called 2 Grabs again to go to our next destination.
We requested the Grabs to send us to Underground City, which we didn't know is located quite far. Giler jauh perjalanan... boleh siap tertidur lagi! Almaklum pagi tadi everyone woke up super early for the balloon ride excursion. Anyway, our grab driver was a lady... baik sangat! She didn't know how to speak english so everytime she wanted to ask question she would use an app on her phone to translate her. Brutal jugak dia bawak kereta... at one time, on our way home from Underground City (she waited for us while we explore that place), she overide a lorry and hampir head-to-head with a car from the opposite direction... ya Allah... panic sat yours truly weiii...
Anyway, let's talk about Underground City now...
Derinkuyu Underground City is located about 8km from Gerome Valley. And yes, we can enter this place using the Museum Card as well.
This place is fascinating... I did not expect this. It was challenging for those who's not fit - agak mencabarnya journey untuk explore the underground area... had to ascend and descend steep and super narrow staircases going underground and later climbed up again to exit.

Makcik pun tak fit... so mongah gak lah panjat tangga ni.
MIL only masuk a sekejap... the place was too dark for her and dia macam panic... and requested to go exit immediately. So hubby had to escort her out and stay with her...
Just us plus Zamri (the photographer) that survived to reach the bottom of the underground city.
Tu pun tak explore all rooms.... as we do not want to let MIL and hubby waited too long outside.
Back in the hotel that evening, I sat on the balcony of our hotel to wait for sunset....
I especially love watching sunrise and sunset in Cappadocia....
Subhanallah... so mesmerizing! The view was stunning!!!
So glad we chose to stay 5 days 4 nights in Cappadocia... memang priceless memory 😍😍😍
